Ever felt like your creative ideas are too "out there" to share on a podcast? Or, do you wory that releasing something unpolished could be a crucial mistake? In today's short and sweet minisode, I talk about seemingly irrelevant ideas can make a profound impact and how embracing the unexpected can unlock doors we never even knew existed. This episode is not just about breaking the mold; it's a deeper reflection on the nonlinear path of life and success. Forget the straight line—we're scribbling outside the lines.

Speaker 1:

Okay. So what I want to talk about is letting something be random, just putting something out there that feels like it should be out there. Right, your next podcast episode. But you're thinking, but it doesn't relate to anything that I do in my business, or it seems like it's in left field. Well, you know what I'm here to say? That's the exact reason why you need to do it. So you know, from the episodes that I have already released and I've already put out there, I really believe in this idea of something comes to you like divinely, right Through the ether, or, as Steven Pressfield, he talks about the muse, right the muse. So if something feels like, okay, this is something I really. But my heart right now is telling me I need to say it might feel uncomfortable. And just because it might feel uncomfortable doesn't mean that you shouldn't do it. In fact, if it feels uncomfortable, it might mean that this is exactly what you need to do, right.

Speaker 1:

And if you release an episode that you feel like, oh, it's not polished, it's really not relating to anything, and you might have this idea like it's a crucial mistake, it's going to have an effect on my you know who listens to my podcast or the success of my podcast. And that's just made up. That's just like not true, okay, and the fact that you know nothing is linear. I want you to think about that for a second, on a few different levels. Right, it's like you might think that your podcast and the things that you're doing with your podcast and in your life for that matter, is it should be a straight line, logically, like we really know that's not true, but we want it to be that way. We want to be like thinking, okay, if I do this thing, it's going to get me this result. And that's not true, no matter what we think, no matter what we've heard, because, instead of it being a straight line in life, that we because here's the thing we think here so we've made this line, this linear line, it might not. It it's like how do we know that's the way to do it when there's so many options, right? So we think we draw a line and we go to that from A gives us B, when in fact, our lives look more like scribbles on a page. Think about it Our lives are like scribbles on a page and the fact that we're actually alive is random, the fact that we're living on this planet that is spinning so fast, the fact that we are actually here and that we were born, that is also very random. It's just, it's really funny when you think about it. It really is. So I say, let yourself be random, because what you have to share you might think is an important, or it's not time-dried or whatever, but it might land as just the thing that someone else needs to hear today. And as soon as you descend the mountain of self and ascend the mountain of other, this is when we are free and open to new possibilities. All right, that's what I got for you. I'll see you next time.
