Ever felt like you were king of the hill in high school, only to step out and realize the world didn't quite get the memo? That's where our journey begins, as we crack open the door to the real world and look back at how our high school experiences did—or didn't—set us up for what's ahead. We're tossing the cap and gown aside to get real about the shock of post-grad life, the parental pep talks that pushed us, and the educational paths we've carved out. Regrets, motivation quests, and the realization that one size definitely does not fit all when it comes to success—this episode has it all.

Remember when a hundred grand sounded like a golden ticket to Easy Street? We're crunching the numbers and facing the music that, nowadays, that tune's changed. We're digging into the meat of what a college degree means in our pockets and in our lives, chatting about everything from family expectations to the necessity of a dual-income hustle in today's economy. We'll dish out personal stories that weigh the costs and gains of higher education and talk about how financial security isn't just about the balance in the bank.

Strap in for a gear shift as we hit a lighter note, jamming out over our Mount Rushmore of hip-hop and the greatest NFL quarterbacks to grace the gridiron. We're all about those heated debates, whether it's over sports bets or the right QB to start a franchise. And because all this heavy talk builds a thirst, we're mixing in our favorite drinks—from the nostalgia of an Arnold Palmer to the perfect post-breakup beer. Just before we sign off, we'll unwrap our Easter candy preferences, proving that whether it's a soda pop or a chocolate drop, taste is as individual as our life's paths. Join us for the highs, lows, and all the laughs in between—it's a ride you won't want to miss.

Speaker 1:

Episode three our six cents podcast, get hype, all right. Last week we got cut off a little bit, so we're diving right into this, no hesitation. We're going right back to the real world issues, all right. We were talking about transitioning from High school into the real world. You two are the kings right now Because you know you're the young blood right here. So talk a little bit about what it was like coming out of high school, going into, you know, college, not college going into, you know, just trying to get into the real world.

Speaker 2:

Well, I want to know what it was like for you to like, what the difference would be you know, all right, you throw it off, and then I'll kick it into that's. That's gonna start.

Speaker 1:

Don't fight about it, it's okay.

Speaker 2:

I mean transition from high school. It's like it's probably one of the hardest things I had to go through, because I I go from being like the man in high school from the complete opposite in the real world is hold on, who called you the man myself? Oh, okay.

Speaker 1:

There you go. Don't claim the man. I like the man yeah.

Speaker 2:

Got it All right, quote-unquote the man, and then that's like it's just one little world Inside this great big world. I feel, and it's scary once you get out of it, man, because like You're not, they don't prepare you, for I feel like they, academically they do, but Everything else in the world they don't even, they don't even touch on it. I feel, and I don't know, it's just really, really hard for me. I'm kind of what about you?

Speaker 3:

I I think that you know ever since, like I just think that, at least me personally I feel like I didn't take high school to like Serious. I wish I did and I feel like if I did I would have kind of known what I wanted to do. Coming out of high school, I had no clue and my my senior year of high school and when I, when I came out, I still had no idea which is fine I did community college, had no idea through community college and didn't work out for me Just never really was a school person. You know it was, it was. It was definitely hard.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, I feel like a lot of people could relate to like not trying in school.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, at least I can. Yeah, but three of us can.

Speaker 2:

So I mean, yeah, like I just wish they just prepared you more. Like I know it's on your parents too. Yeah, I was gonna get into that. You know I was gonna say it's a household thing, right.

Speaker 1:

You know if they don't value homework, you know you come home right. You shouldn't be running out the door. You should be sitting down doing your homework before you play with your friends. Like, let's get it over with. You know, if your parents didn't go to school, Maybe they didn't go to college. You know you're, you might not you might not, you know, have that same belief, or you know they might not push that to do better than them in it.

Speaker 1:

You know, and the three of us being brothers, we all have the same, you know, same same raising for the most part, yeah. So I mean we both kind of all, both, all three of us fell into that same category. So it's definitely weird for me too. I tried to college right off the bat. Definitely didn't work, and then it took me to find the love of my life to push Me to go back to school and got my bachelor's degree. So it took motivation from me, but it also took being out of school for eight years to find that motivation and find what I want to do.

Speaker 1:

It's, it's a struggle, it's an ongoing struggle and then when you get through it, you feel good about it. Now I have kids, I have a, I have a career and and I pushed that education on my kids. Now and you know it's crazy because Perfect example is when, when she comes home from school, I am trying to get to the mindset for her to do her homework and I can't do it because I never had that mindset. So she just comes home, plays and has a good time, and then the morning before the bus comes like, huh, come on, let's do some homework and thank God she's, you know pretty good with it, but it's something that we want to instill on our our kids too.

Speaker 2:

Yeah so.

Speaker 1:

I mean, pushing education is like a big deal and it does. It starts at home and the schools. You're only in school for you know eight or seven hours, even. You know I think she's Nine to three. You know that's that's nothing at six hours. So it starts at home and we have to build the foundation at home. You know that's where this all comes from.

Speaker 1:

So I mean I struggled throughout my school. I mean when I hit a certain age like I thought it was too cool for school. And you know, you rebel, you have fun, you have friends, you start driving. Distractions are real, you know.

Speaker 1:

I think it's only worse nowadays with social media and you know cell phones and social media, everything like everything's different and you see everything else, you hear everything else and see what our bills is doing. You know Somebody graduates before you that your friends with. I don't go hang out with him. I don't go to school. You know senior year, you know it's there's a lot of peer pressure involved. So I mean it's, it's, it's tough and no one's, no one's right or wrong on their career path or their path out of school, because you don't know what's coming, you don't know what you're doing, you might not know what you want to do and it might take you and you know it took me till it was 30 to get into a career setting. So it's like there's no right or wrong anymore. I just feel like the generational too, because you know it's a very laxie, daisy, slow, rolling Generation. Back in the day, it's like you're 18. You got to have a job and be married by your 20, you know, nowadays it's like very soft.

Speaker 1:

Yeah it's just. It's a different world you live in, so it's very tough yeah which kind of brings my next question is the value of college. So again, the first thing I want to say is depends on you know the household you're raised in.

Speaker 1:

Yeah that's the biggest thing. If they're not gonna push for college, so they're not gonna send you to prep courses or you know any of that type of stuff. It's like you're almost doomed right. So it starts at the parent level, first of all. I mean the schools. You know, I was a big play in it, but they can only do so much. They can't hold your hand outside of school. So I mean, college is different for everybody. Some people are just gonna use their hands, rest their lives and they're gonna be being a trade somewhere and they might do amazing. And some people, you know, go to college, become doctors and lawyers and all that great stuff, and we need everybody. So I mean I Don't know how to put a value in college. I mean, I went through it, I did it.

Speaker 1:

I'm still paying my damn student loans, unfortunately because it's stupid and interest is ridiculous and you could never get ahead. But I'm glad I did it for my kids purposes, like I didn't need it to get to the job I'm in right now. But I'm glad I have my back pocket raises, promotions, anything like that or another job, you never know and I got it for my kids. So I'm hoping Mike, my kids, will say alright, my dad went to school, my mom got, went to school. They both have bachelor's degrees. I want master's degree. Yeah, man, go for it. Like I'm gonna push that on them, you know so.

Speaker 3:

I did want to point out that I feel like Personally, for me I think college is pretty valuable and just coming from like a circumstance where if you Don't go to college, I just think that there's a lot of like people that just like don't.

Speaker 3:

I feel like if you're into college even like a community college or something you have options to kind of explore like what you want to do and you know Interest that you have, that you might want to follow and and do that as a career. But I feel like if you don't do it and you have no idea, it's really like it's terrible because you know, because it's it's really hard to figure out what you know you might want to do. It's a lot harder to you know yeah, you keep your options open.

Speaker 1:

At least you have a degree in your back pocket. Yeah that's something pops up and exactly, at least you have, yeah, something in your back pocket, but yeah it's a lot harder to find a career without a without school.

Speaker 3:

So I I personally think it definitely is valuable if, if you're a school person, you know go for it.

Speaker 2:

I think it depends on the person to cut you off.

Speaker 3:

No.

Speaker 2:

I think it depends on the person's values by themselves, like how they value, how far they want to go in life, what they want to accomplish what they want to achieve.

Speaker 1:

That's coming from Sean, who wanted to pump gas. Yeah you're younger, I said you better do but good in school, yeah, or I'll. You'll be pumping gas and the answer to me was oh, that's okay, that's fun, you're outdoors and You're covered. I said yeah, dude, it's freezing, it's raining, it's 90 degrees.

Speaker 3:

Yellow booth. Yeah, you're a radio. Yeah, you're all about that, with a little fan.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was. You don't own the gas station you're doing maybe an asshole.

Speaker 2:

Yeah reject sounds right fight the world. Yeah, thought you were cool too.

Speaker 1:

Another one too cool for school people, way too cool. So the other thing I have down is the hundred K milestone. Yeah so a hundred thousand dollars, when I was growing up. If you made a hundred thousand dollars, life was good.

Speaker 2:

You were like you think it's a thing, dude, I don't know.

Speaker 1:

I just that's my point. It's not the same. I still feel a hundred, Okay so what do you hit a hundred K? It's not your house, kids and daycare and and food bills and it's Unbelievable. God forbid you want to go on vacation. Like a hundred K is joke now because hey, they take like 25 30% out between taxes and benefits and all the other crap that they take out for the whatever, but it's like it's not a lot of money anymore.

Speaker 1:

You know, like, yeah, you guys live in living a home with mom. You know that's great, you can make six figures, you're in, you got a bank, it and you'll get somewhere. But, like you know, there's just so much stuff in the world that everything's inflated so high and you know, especially in our area, you know, a three, four hundred thousand dollar house is selling for five, six hundred thousand now. So it's like, you know, it's just, it's stupid and and and it's just I don't know, I don't know what it's that now, yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3:

150, 200, now I think maybe, nah, it's probably double to be on yeah yeah, maybe double one. It's probably 300, you think. So If you put everything in a count, I think, yeah, it's like.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you got a mario you got. That's why you got to have two people working now you can't just have one person working anymore like it's, it's, you got it. You got to have somebody else, otherwise you know you're renting or something else. That you know two wives 300k. Gotta make that legal, Damn New Jersey.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, I don't know. I just wanted to ask what you thought.

Speaker 1:

A lot of people, yeah, no, I mean I'd probably say like it's probably, it's probably 150, 200,000 like you're in high school and people were like, if you're making six figures, it's like, yeah, it's like it was crazy, you know, but again it's not the same anymore, yeah, and like places go up in prices and people pay more and stuff like that, but it's just gas now, compared to what?

Speaker 2:

was gas. What was the gas pressure here?

Speaker 1:

five cents, no, I believe. If I remember correctly, it was like a dollar 25.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I don't think I ever saw in the, you know, the just 99 cents and under yeah, it used to be like two dollars from weird kids like close, I don't think.

Speaker 2:

I ever seen it like one. I never, I, never seen. I think I've always seen.

Speaker 1:

It was definitely in the low ones but like, even back five bucks I would have five bucks. You know no job, or something of five dollars. I still got you like four gallons of gas, you know, so it's like I could go so far with five dollars. We're gonna find five dollars, I'm hoping. Make it home from the gas station, you know.

Speaker 2:

but but back then, when people like bitching on the price of gas to dude they're always. That's always.

Speaker 1:

I'm never gonna stop. It doesn't matter. But that's the problem. Everything else goes up, but your paycheck doesn't, right right. Like your cost of living Expenses and your cost of living raised. They never match up like yeah, it's unbelievable, I mean. And COVID broke the market for everybody. So let's be honest about that. I'm just show screwed everybody. That's your boy.

Speaker 3:

All right, we're not political, do you?

Speaker 1:

got anything else in this one, boys. No, we, yeah, we're not getting the politics.

Speaker 3:

This is not a political joke.

Speaker 1:

We'll crack down some current events and stuff like that down the road, but we are not talking politics, because it's only politics. I'm gonna talk right now because this is a good one. All right, the best thing I've ever bought anybody my life was for your dad, I bought him. Oh yeah, the Joe Biden p thing, so you could pee on Joe Biden.

Speaker 3:

That was funny. You got him the toilet and then.

Speaker 1:

Joe Biden toilet paper this year.

Speaker 3:

He gave me that, actually gave it to you.

Speaker 2:

Is that one you're?

Speaker 1:

wiping your ass with Biden.

Speaker 2:

And I wanted. I wanted his bathroom and it was dark in his room and then the light like flickered on. No, looking like at the like I was waking up and shit. So I was like had my head down and I looked to my right I see Joe Biden's faces serious. No, it's done. Now. The rolls that wipe the rolls got it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah this is happening like five days ago. Yeah, it's like a. Christmas yeah no, you just gave it to me. Oh my, I was gonna save it. I wasn't gonna use it. I was like you know what I?

Speaker 2:

mean he cracks me up. But you know, I didn't like, I didn't like the quality on it.

Speaker 1:

You guys. Oh sorry bro, I didn't get so that was fine. I'm sorry, guys, my name on the purpose was good. There's something else too. I got him from the bathroom. Remember all the disco lights? You have the lights too.

Speaker 3:

All right, I got my toilet bowl disco light now I thought the light which you're buying it yeah, but you can change it.

Speaker 1:

It was like hair, it was like her whole, his whole crew.

Speaker 3:

This is really fun, nancy Pelosi.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, all the people he left. Drop a deuce on them, all right? Ha ha ha. All right. So let's crack off the first segment that's gonna start being a staple in our podcast Mount Rushmore, mount Rushmore. So Sean actually asked me this question a couple weeks ago and he goes what's your Mount Rushmore of rappers?

Speaker 3:

Hmm.

Speaker 1:

I was like oh man, so you know we talked about that, so we're gonna start off with that and we're gonna change it up every Every episode and have a different Mount Rushmore. So let's start with the rappers, because that was the first one we started with and we all come from different. Well, I come from a different generation of rappers than you guys.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so this should be pretty interesting you might, you might, you might, but you know so I want to say like I'm gonna guess you guys have like two similar ones Probably probably some similarity.

Speaker 1:

So First of all, does anybody know how many people are?

Speaker 3:

Mount Rushmore yeah right five correct answers for I was gonna say four, actually, it's all right, it's all right, you guys, you guys were not you said five, I was so calm, you said five fast.

Speaker 1:

So I have to look it up. This is why we're gonna look it up. They say the fifth one is supposed to like a Native American chief. Like etched in the very bottom, like yeah, I'm gonna do like a bonus. Fifth one, maybe about you could throw a bonus. I did, I did honorable mentions. I did do that just because I feel like it's fun.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I have four, I don't are you googling it?

Speaker 1:

you're questioning me on this right now no no, you have a bastard's degree. Yeah, that was one of my classes. How many heads are on Mount Rushmore?

Speaker 3:

This is what happens when you talk to two people that didn't go to college.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but that's what makes it more fun, though If you do Mount Rushmore it's only four people, so it really throws people into a tizzy. You know, I like the Mount Rushmore is like a grade school thing. No well it's definitely like. It's definitely on. Are you smarter than a fifth grader?

Speaker 3:

It's definitely on that show and just putting out there Very long time hard you should definitely be asking Siri that other team even type that fast a game, I told you, for there's an actual game that you could play, like I'm.

Speaker 1:

Are you?

Speaker 3:

smarter than a fifth grade.

Speaker 1:

Watch that show.

Speaker 3:

It's hard.

Speaker 2:

I actually never really seen it, it's not a lot of winners, so I would never gone that shit. All right, let's say, pay me six figures.

Speaker 1:

All right, let's get into it. I had hit again because I just love him, all right, so I'll start it off.

Speaker 1:

All right, all the see you, I guess no, no, and this is in no order at all. So the way I had to do this with myself was I had to literally Think about what CDs I owned. Yes, we had CDs back in the day, and I had to think about what. Who do I still listen to today? Who could I put on today in my car, put the windows down on a nice day and jam out to the same stuff, you know, 10, 15, 20 years later? So that was my goal. Oh, dude, I might have the same ones as you.

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna be honest, I'm an eight one.

Speaker 1:

I think we all have an hour All right guys start going there little way, yeah, little way. We all have a hundred percent. He's timeless.

Speaker 2:

Okay, that's the one and one I wanted to say.

Speaker 1:

Timeless. I'll let you just a little Wayne. I just, I mean, he's ridiculous, dude, it is Ballers. You guys, guys gonna get on the ballers, but anyway, oh, you saw ballers.

Speaker 3:

I've seen the whole. I've seen it twice.

Speaker 1:

Dude, you're the man, so I'm gonna watch a couple of but, anyway, all right, so we got. We got a little Wayne off my list. Enough everybody's list right there. The next one I got no order for the next one. I have his jadekiss.

Speaker 3:

Mmm.

Speaker 1:

That was my dude. Love him anything he played. I have like every one of his albums. He's just, he's timeless. You know, I don't know, I could still jam out to his original songs from the original album like, oh man, good times. Next I have his Nas, yeah, nas, I would have guessed it so many decades. You know, I don't know. Just same thing, man, like I had every one. I had just these are the few CDs I could put in hit play and just run through the albums. You know, it didn't happen a lot for me. I was always like skipping around, finding your favorite song or two maybe.

Speaker 3:

But I can do them all. I know your last one.

Speaker 1:

No, well, there's two more, but you're sorry guy oh yeah, we did a little way in my bed. Who's the last one? You don't know. No, no.

Speaker 3:

Don't I go. This is a curveball, it's.

Speaker 1:

It goes with Jada kiss styles P. Wow, really, yeah, big same thing. It's the same thing. A he did a lot of songs with Jada.

Speaker 2:

So I had him all the time. I don't know styles P.

Speaker 3:

I get ha, ha, ha I only know Wow, I get high stay in a live.

Speaker 1:

Well, I can see where he's going with that. I mean, I'm not the best.

Speaker 3:

All right, well, we're gonna do some styles.

Speaker 1:

P afterwards, but he did so much stuff with.

Speaker 3:

Jada, I only know a few.

Speaker 1:

So well, I have to give my honorable mentions, because this was hard, because it's going to do for, because Mount Rushmore has how many.

Speaker 2:

So I'm well, do we want the technical answer? What's the technical answer?

Speaker 1:

five, the real answer for All right, well, we appreciate you figuring that one out on your own. Thanks for asking, Siri. It's in the middle. Yeah, I 100%, 100% you're probably, you could probably ask my kindergartner and show probably get it. So my honorable mentions, because there's only four. So this was. This was crazy, because these are all who's debating on Mm-hmm, old Drake. Mm-hmm, I love the old Drake. You know hotline. Find your no like. Find your love. You know, find your love.

Speaker 1:

Okay so that's ever happen. Like old-school Drake, like original Drake. Yeah, I have Jay-Z on there.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's gonna say.

Speaker 1:

FA, bo, fabulous, and my other one, luda, no, no, that's a good one. No no no, that was a really good one. Though I'm an um, he might be up to no no, to wait for me. Really, I part, I shadow no, I know I have a couple of them. I had numerous of his out. I could, I could listen.

Speaker 2:

I personally just let it go yeah.

Speaker 1:

So the other honorable mention is hot topic today. I like Kanye back when he made music, not miss the old the old time, the musician, not the artist. I didn't care about, I don't care about art anymore, I don't care about him on, you know, all these social media crap. Like I don't care. I like back when he made, like you know, down and out and back that album. You know, before that guy like oh, gee stuff, like he was good.

Speaker 1:

He was actually good, yeah, heartless, gold digger, gold digger, yeah, so yeah. Those are my what?

Speaker 2:

what could you possibly have right now?

Speaker 3:

I can't.

Speaker 2:

I forgot the other. I actually I know the name of the other, so I'm not a donor, never mind. Good talk, yeah, all right.

Speaker 1:

Cutting it out. So I'm Jadakiss Nas. Lil Wayne styles P with a couple honorable mentions. Okay we're react boys. What's the next?

Speaker 2:

I'll let you go. That I'm gonna All right.

Speaker 1:

I'll start off for you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, oh.

Speaker 3:

Okay, so I had to get me. This is so good. Oh, wayne isn't there for sure.

Speaker 1:

Okay, yeah.

Speaker 3:

I'm actually gonna go, eminem Okay.

Speaker 1:

I mentioned.

Speaker 3:

I could just listen, I could just let him play but that's what's about exactly.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, all right, not so slim shady Also.

Speaker 3:

His lyrics are just. I just think he's like One of the best, if not the best lyricist ever to ever live. I'm gonna go Jay-Z. Yeah, I could again. I could just let him play every single song back then, especially so hard not play for you? I got it Yep and Kanye.

Speaker 1:

The Kanye I used to love. Kanye for the easies before.

Speaker 2:

sorry, um, you have honorable mentions.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, thank you. Probably biggie is an honorable mention. Okay, it's always good. Yep, biggie, I mean, yeah, I could put two pocket.

Speaker 1:

Man, it's real.

Speaker 3:

All right, you're taking rock and want last one. Probably rock him oh.

Speaker 1:

Oh there, eric be in rock. Oh, you're going old school. He's like this, like before Wu Tang style.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I ain't no joke. No, it's a good song.

Speaker 1:

All right, who's rockin? Don't worry about it. We'll play a little bit later for you, don't worry, buddy. Okay. He's got middle top four bro.

Speaker 2:

Mount Rushmore. Oh yeah, you know what they say. You're Mount Rushmore, though Cuz one is supposed to be your honorable mention. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you're just getting that now. Yeah, that's why we're dealing with.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because we're not doing tell you. I know we're doing top four and so hard to pick only four. I'd be thrown in like come on, guys, just go. This is just like.

Speaker 2:

Just wake up or something like good, now we're yeah Okay, so I'm going little way. Another one obviously go little Derek. No cap at three. This is your Mount Rushmore, like my personal top five that could listen to albums, I repeat you like all, like you think Best no, if we're going like not personal favorites, then I'll switch it up just went, I Are accident. I think Mount. Rushmore collapsed when I think I'm saying your personal yeah, no, no, go here.

Speaker 1:

Personal, I think it funny, you, so I'm just thinking the best that I like the best, if you guys look on the scale, listen, obviously in the good yeah, the rat, the rat that, no, listen, it could. It could be your best friend, could be a rapper.

Speaker 2:

Never found out.

Speaker 1:

If it's someone that's you know you can listen to all day and you buy the albums like that's it, I would have said with that.

Speaker 3:

But I would have said Wu Tang, but they're a group so I didn't you could have thought, you could have Through.

Speaker 2:

I'll throw them in there too so as a little Wayne, little Derek, no cap, polo G, and then do I throw like a og in there.

Speaker 3:

Wait, now I want to add Drake in there, though.

Speaker 1:

You could do, honorable Drake. I liked older Drake.

Speaker 3:

I mean, yeah, me too nowadays, all songs sound the same. It's, you know, some the same to me. You're not the key. Do you love me?

Speaker 1:

Never even heard.

Speaker 3:

I don't know, I don't like to take care of them.

Speaker 2:

That was a good. I'm a third Drake in there. You got me reminiscing listen.

Speaker 1:

I saw Drake the his first summer jam concert.

Speaker 2:

Actually, yeah, it was the first one.

Speaker 1:

I'm telling me it was where it was in Jersey. Yeah, at the state Met life. Oh yeah, I don't know what is nowadays.

Speaker 2:

We're the Giants, and yeah, my life with the New Jersey teams play the.

Speaker 3:

yeah, he's brought the bird, yeah yeah, continental or something.

Speaker 1:

I have different names of it. Now I don't know. I saw him play and I remember. I remember him and remember Jay Z, like it's clear as day and Jay Z that was when he just launched a DOA death of autotune and they were good, but that was like one of his first big concerts, I'm like oh, I heard him before, but I'm saying like oh, you got 99 problems, yep.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, that was my, that was my man, rushmore, I'm busy. Most people aren't gonna know who they are.

Speaker 3:

But, no, I'm a.

Speaker 1:

Drake, but Drake is good for anybody because, again, if you like, little Wayne, right, they did so much collaboration early.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's so much more to him.

Speaker 1:

He's a good leader, so, but I just, I don't know man, maybe it's his voice or something, something just doesn't, doesn't click. It doesn't click for me bro, he has songs.

Speaker 3:

We're like he's saying you used to love Kendrick. Yeah, I know he's. He's my favorite, all time he's last. I got it, I'm gonna learn. Yeah, kendrick's, his lyrics are just dude. He has songs where it just like tells a story and you like yeah, it's just a voice like it's raspy. I don't like his. I like the SP Boys rappers. I don't know. Let's move on, come on.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but he's good. There's a difference, all right. All right, let's get off of that. Next week we'll do another Mount Rushmore. I got thinking something, something dope, that's a little more athletes. No, we're not too. We have so much sports in the show.

Speaker 2:

I know, all right, let's get, we'll figure it out, we'll do pain things. We'll do pain things.

Speaker 1:

Favorite artists. You guys got any now. We'll get to next week Most. Yeah, he was a poser, bro, yeah. Yeah, I should actually send your buddy pop. And she how many years to Picasso have?

Speaker 3:

Three, what did he have? One Are you?

Speaker 2:

serious. All right, I was one. We're gonna say it was born an extra Jesus. It's not a third nipple. Why do you have one? Why do you have one? I? Don't know off dude why.

Speaker 1:

I don't remember the reason. I just know you cut off.

Speaker 3:

You only want to.

Speaker 1:

I tuned out in school after oh god, cut all these guys dope. You're only paying attention.

Speaker 3:

You only wanted to see you. I'm on here.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah All right, so we're gonna get into Two. We're gonna get into the sports betting, so last week being. Sean agreed with Chelsea. Chelsea had a draw, yep, so that was beyond To start the season off. Oh, and one I feel terrible. Yeah, all right.

Speaker 2:

Are you gonna get you guys actually, are you gonna double down on soccer?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, I'm going. That's called football. All right, ted Lasso told me, by the way, I'm season three almost done.

Speaker 3:

Hmm, dude, you're about to finish before my boss even finish dude, it's so good he's on the last season too. I have two episodes left now, but he probably doesn't watch it. It's ridiculous.

Speaker 1:

It's just so good. All right, so I did, I doubled down, so I have two, actually, manchester United over Everton, but that's the negative 115. It's not, you know, they're expected to win.

Speaker 2:

Man you.

Speaker 1:

Then the other one is man city over Liverpool. That's a plus 125.

Speaker 2:

That's a little so.

Speaker 1:

I'm gonna take both of those.

Speaker 2:

They're, they're iconic teams.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, these are all big teams. Everton's not that big for the man you, but I'm, I'm trying to get into the man, you zone right now. So the other, so those are the only two. Yeah, I would actually go with all right, so I'm locking them up. And then the other one, just because I'm more of a hoping. So no one take this to heart, but I'm hoping Rutgers men's basketball beats Ohio State this weekend. What are the odds? I can't. I don't know because it's freaking new.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we can't put a new jersey team, so I don't know but they're definitely not favored, so they're definitely getting them.

Speaker 1:

You know some pluses in there, but I'm gonna go for it. I'm pulling for them. They have a good team that could actually pull it out if they actually play. You know the way they should be playing, but whatever, hmm, all right, you guys got anything on the weekends. You got anything no.

Speaker 3:

I don't bet. I told you.

Speaker 1:

You don't have to actually bet to do this. You could just pick something you think this team's gonna win. What if I take the word think? Look in your phone for upcoming games. What are you gonna think about? Oh my, god ladies and gentlemen, I apologize for these two.

Speaker 2:

Anus gonna.

Speaker 1:

Hate us because they ain't us. That's what we need. That one too. All right, we'll work on that one I. That guy's the bad.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, he really is. I think it's reporting. Oh, I already know for my. My rush over. By the way, friend, I don't want to spoil.

Speaker 1:

I don't spoil no spoiler tier on this show. Okay, we're gonna cut this part anywhere, because we're probably not, probably not. We're rolling baby. Um, all right, when Kyle figures out with teams because he's learning how he uses bleacher reporters ESPN app over here, we'll get back to him. Um, all right. So we're gonna stick with the uh, the world of sports here and we're gonna get into. Would you rather? This is gonna be, who would you rather have on your team?

Speaker 1:

So the big debate since Jason Kelsey just retired, you know it was obviously Videos ever from crying, which you know Everybody's like me a big deal out of it, like the poor guy's retiring from the thing he loves Like the whole life you play football like come on right, I'm more worried for after the fact.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I'm nervous.

Speaker 1:

You hear like horror stories of that. Yeah, that's me, the center. So who would you rather have on your team for their career, the whole career? Let's say you. You got to pick one player right now starting the team to build the fresh out of the fresh out of the Combine, right? Yeah, travis or Jason Kelsey on your team.

Speaker 2:

Personally, I'm taking Jason because there's a six round pick.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so we'll talk about steals and drafts here. Like Travis, I'm just saying the career itself.

Speaker 3:

Travis Kelsey, no brainer. I got my uh pick to no brainer. It's all right, we'll come back to you.

Speaker 1:

No, no brainer. Yeah Well, Travis has what two rings now Jason has just one because they lost. Jason Kelsey is one of the best centers of all time, I mean. I agree.

Speaker 2:

I mean I agree. So I mean Kelsey. Yeah, you're right, travis, kelsey is.

Speaker 1:

All right, maybe not one of the best tight ends, which is going to be next week's debate, by the way.

Speaker 3:

It ends, we're gonna maybe not a no brainer, but it's only two, all right.

Speaker 1:

I don't want to get into it now, because, because it's gonna get crazy.

Speaker 2:

It's not a no brainer, but I'm a, I'm a go, I'm a go, jason Kelsey, I'm going with with team money.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean a, he's got a great name but I'm gonna talk about for my team here, right, yeah, and I'm a. I'm an unfortunate Cowboys fan but I'm saying let's say I start my own team. I want Travis. Why? Because he's been the top, just like Jason. He's been the top. I get it, but he's the difference maker.

Speaker 1:

Like patch, my homes has no one to throw to has had no one to throw to and he's only had his, his crutch, which is Jason Kelsey. And then he you know how's he? He's my home, he's magical and all that fun stuff. But yeah, my homes bring so much to the table. It's unbelievable, like between the blocking and, you know, receptions and just Drawing two people.

Speaker 1:

So if the chiefs are smart enough they would get a really solid wide receiver, and they can't put four players on two, you know. So I would really. But whatever, I'm not, I'm not that smart. I guess it's smarter than me. But the biggest thing, I'm gonna put it into the universe the t-swift effect. They're gonna ride this t-swift train as long as they can make all this extra money Of all these sales. The NFL is gonna make all this money off these sales and it's gonna be like Chiefs are getting all the ratings. Now. It's ridiculous. But you know what, if I'm an owner, show me the money, baby, like I want it, I want it all. Are we the owner or coach? Though I don't care. Well, if we're a coach, I wouldn't give two shits, I just want to win.

Speaker 2:

That's what I'm saying, but if I'm saying for the owner like my team, like you know. Oh, we're talking about an owner perspective. Yeah, I'm taking Travis Kelsey. I'm just saying like he's a face. If we're talking about money, I'm talking about winning.

Speaker 1:

He's the face, you know. He's like really the face of the NFL right now. Let's be real.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

That's all the commercials he's in. It's all just bringing good publicity to him and his team. That's fair, I thought we were talking about winning. He's awesome. Well, I'm everything, just in general. I didn't say they're I just like careers. There's careers in general, I mean, but Jason Kelsey, again, it's a good point, because Jason Kelsey is so dominant. The tush push is not successful unless he's in the middle. I mean, he's the reason yeah, that's, that's that's done, that's that's done.

Speaker 2:

But that's gonna be in the NFL history forever. Yeah, and jason kelsie, both hallfamers I mean. I take either one.

Speaker 3:

My team, yeah, so.

Speaker 1:

All right, so I like that one. That was a good one. That was a good one, all right, backing it up. Backing it up for kyle.

Speaker 3:

All right, so this is a terrible game. It's for mba. Okay, um, wow, you're really selling this one. Yeah, it's um, um, the pistons versus the nets. Okay, I'm gonna go under 218 point five points. Is it a lock for both between both?

Speaker 1:

so almost all of the lock is even better. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

They both stink, they do stink.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but you could score points. So he said if they've bad defense you can score, but if you can't shoot, there's no problem. I think.

Speaker 3:

I think it's gonna be a low score. All right, it's gonna be.

Speaker 2:

And he's getting the third one out of the way now. I'm taking uh, I'm taking the devils against the hurricanes. I'm taking the devils.

Speaker 3:

What Whoa the?

Speaker 2:

music's true, I know Watch.

Speaker 1:

I'm in. I just that's like you're sucking in the division.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, all right. Good, all right, that skates is coming to town.

Speaker 3:

Devils just need a captain man, we're saying the penguins are ahead of them now. Did you know?

Speaker 2:

that's really. They seem to go easy. That's it. Just suck it for us.

Speaker 3:

People think either of them are making the playoffs.

Speaker 1:

Wow, which two?

Speaker 3:

we say either devils are under the penguins now and the penguins aren't gonna make it either. Wow, then that was gonna make negative the answer.

Speaker 1:

I mean they could, they got the youth, I'm gonna pull up. They got you. Yeah, you know what. Pull up the standings because I'm just more curious than anything right now, because the devils are second to last in the division.

Speaker 3:

Right now there's only six people in the division.

Speaker 1:

All right, yeah, but the division is pretty close.

Speaker 3:

I mean, they're how many?

Speaker 1:

games. It's gotta be only a couple games, because they've been flip-flopping all year.

Speaker 3:

They're like, they're like six games.

Speaker 2:

Brother, still like 50 games left in the season. They're like yeah.

Speaker 3:

You think they're gonna come back and like I mean they could, yeah, they could.

Speaker 1:

I mean you got jack youths, man. That's all the reason of the long season.

Speaker 2:

Is there 80?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, isn't like baseball no, they're uh, basketball Isn't? I thought it's like and that like the end of april or something, no, how many NHL games are nice?

Speaker 1:

We're all waiting for seared answers and of april.

Speaker 3:

Would what that be 50?

Speaker 2:

82.

Speaker 3:

All right, so there's like 30 games. So what do you talk about left?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Wow how was this a debate if?

Speaker 3:

there's 80, because if there's 80 games and the devils are, what are they?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, let's look at the games. Pretty. Two and forty three, yeah, those are 30 games then.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you're right, all right, yeah, yeah, they can see.

Speaker 1:

All right, all right, let's just admit it that didn't happen. All right, boys, let's crack it off for another one we are going to pick.

Speaker 2:

Top five dead on live and that's just off one LP.

Speaker 1:

Oh, we're going to pick our top five and today we're starting off this segment with the quarterback position, so I figured this one's going to take most of our show Just because we're going to argue.

Speaker 2:

We're going to argue Like a bunch of little girls right here yeah.

Speaker 1:

No, I think so. We'll have some agreements. I think it's pretty clear because I just wow, that's scary. All right, Start it off Sean.

Speaker 2:

Me Go ahead. No Dude, you're just there.

Speaker 3:

My team is a quarter Quarterbacks.

Speaker 2:

The top five quarterbacks. I'm going to work. Wait, are we doing right?

Speaker 1:

now, I was just doing ever. All ever, all time we could do both.

Speaker 3:

We could do both. Okay, that changes everything, all right Wait.

Speaker 2:

So what are we doing for it?

Speaker 1:

I have all time because I was thinking all time ahead. I obviously didn't share that information with everybody In order.

Speaker 2:

If you can.

Speaker 1:

Okay, if you can.

Speaker 2:

So number one Tom Brady, All right, can we all agree?

Speaker 1:

we have Tom Brady as number one, okay.

Speaker 2:

Number two, patrick Mahomes, right now. Oh, yeah. Number three I'm putting Damarino. Okay, this is in order. Four, I'm putting and this is off the dome right now. Four I'm putting damn Joe Montana.

Speaker 3:

Okay, he's fourth.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, what do you?

Speaker 3:

I don't think we're going to win this.

Speaker 2:

All right, all right, no, we're going to go Five, do I say?

Speaker 1:

it yeah, no, don't say no, okay, go ahead.

Speaker 2:

Aaron Rodgers, woo, it's got to be pain manning it was. It was going to be the sheriff. Okay, it was. I'm going to give up every, every answer I said to, so we'll after you guys go, we'll get into it. Okay, all right, kyle, go ahead.

Speaker 3:

All right, brady won, I want to say yeah, no. I think we're good with that one. I actually have Joe Montana too.

Speaker 2:

My man. It's insane, I do too.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, four and oh and Super Bowl, okay, okay. And he's known for his comebacks. Yeah, he's the comeback kid.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

So he's known for losing, losing, but he's always coming back to win games. If you're known for that, you're in the winner. Like, let's be real, he's four in. Oh, super bowls. Tom Brady's on defeating super bowls my home's is to be, what's Steve young?

Speaker 3:

I don't know much to Steve young went to Montana to it.

Speaker 1:

It's two and oh no before it oh, okay.

Speaker 2:

All right, so that I'm J.

Speaker 3:

DeBay, you have Dan Marino over Joe Montana. Yeah if you.

Speaker 1:

Three times Super Bowl MVP and two time NFL MVP okay but put Joe, my dad, on the dolphins. He's not, he's gonna crumble listen, I'm not playing that game, yeah damn.

Speaker 2:

Marino is the best pure thrower. And then that felt history. I think he's for you. Fantastic. Yeah, the best arms top five.

Speaker 3:

He had the worst people. He had an undefeated season right and then won the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2:

They were. No, they lost, they lost.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they pulled the Tom Brady three.

Speaker 3:

I'm going my homes, okay.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, same. So you guys are both seriously taking Joe Montana over Patrick Moe.

Speaker 3:

Right now right now, yeah, right now, because it's an established career of Montana already, and Patrick, my homes.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, two or three, he's a three. You guys See, joe. Montana do what Patrick does on the field?

Speaker 3:

No, he's still. He is still because he won against. He won both against the Niners.

Speaker 1:

Oh no, the Eagles to be the Eagles.

Speaker 3:

He has three. Yeah, no, he's got three. No, he doesn't three. Yeah, more things.

Speaker 1:

That's three yeah three, so Kelsey has three to. Yeah, I said two earlier. That's my bed.

Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, I'm so. I didn't pick up. Yeah, that was me, that was me.

Speaker 3:

All right Now right now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah but listen, I am. I am a huge advocate for Patrick my homes. I think he's gonna surpass Montana's and I think he's probably gonna give Brady a run for his money because he's so young.

Speaker 3:

He's just Amazing the things he's accomplished. He will probably be there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I just think right now, today, that's where we're at because again like look at the season that she's had. Even like this was a really bad season, they still made it like mm-hmm, it's just. I think of my home's ones one more. I'm gonna put them up, I agree with you, I agree with you, yeah, and he will yeah, yeah, uh.

Speaker 3:

Four I'll go down Marina, Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1:

Okay, and then five paint manning Okay so I actually have Peyton Manning at four.

Speaker 3:

Over Marina and then Marina's five. No, I don't think I know.

Speaker 1:

No, I don't have Marina up there. Okay, because listen, I'm not saying championships are everything, but championships are something. No, you know, I'm saying, I'm not saying you have to have the most championships, but you boost your stuff but they do boost you, though, and they will put you over if you have comparable stats. Yeah, I'm gonna pick the person with with the ring wait, I might, I might, actually, I don't know. Peyton Manning is a two-time Super Bowl MVP, which the last one you know his defense did carry him.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

He's a five-time NFL MVP, so five times Okay. That's fantastic. I actually am gonna change my oh, I'm good at this.

Speaker 3:

Peyton Manning's gonna go for oh, thank you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but you guys aren't ready to handle the last one now, because you're right, because championships are, they do, they do count. So the last one is is tough If I hear truck mate ache man no, but it's a cowboy no.

Speaker 3:

Roger.

Speaker 2:

Stahl back, Okay so.

Speaker 1:

Roger Stahl. Back is his. He's the highest career passer rating in the history and Two Super Bowls. Obviously, he won the Heisman, one Super Bowl MVP and he went to four Super Bowls and he was in the army, yeah, and he only played 10 years because he was cut off early. So it's just the biggest selling point. Mm-hmm is what's everybody's favorite play in football the Hail Mary who invented that he did. He chucked it to Drew Pearson Up in the air and he said a Hail Mary, and that's g88 and o g88.

Speaker 1:

That's right, that's right. The one that got the crowd going to the house in the 80s. Yes, in the 80s yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, late 70s, late 70s probably. Even I know he retired 1980s would have been 70s, yeah. So I didn't get to see him play personally. But a is a Cowboys fan. I know I throw a little more respect on him, but just for the way he changed the game, the Hail Mary still used today. It's still the kids play on the on the playground now. He's still got two Super Bowls. He's got his MVP's, got his Heisman, yeah. So I just I throw him up there. But, yeah, respect, I respect the hell and I do think he's the best natural thrower is Dan Marino yeah, but problem I have with Dan Marino is and yeah, it is a team thing, you know, unfortunately it is a team. But then Patrick Mahomes just proved it to. He had crap for receivers this year, yeah, and they did it.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, but I'm saying yeah.

Speaker 1:

That's fair, you know. So it's like.

Speaker 2:

I also had Andy.

Speaker 1:

Reid. But I'm saying I'm trying to go with, like not playing the player of the teams themselves, but the fact that they did win championships, like I did, give a lot of respect to the championship itself. You know, and then Thomas Brady, we just know you know.

Speaker 2:

You know who's a six-ring. You know who the go to Hail Mary's I. Who's the go to Hail Mary's?

Speaker 1:

Aaron.

Speaker 2:

Rodgers, that's probably true. That is true, that's probably true.

Speaker 1:

You put, so you're putting Rodgers over people like I'm putting Roger's.

Speaker 3:

What.

Speaker 2:

I'm just saying I love Brett for if he's one of my all-time favorite, or Steve Young John.

Speaker 1:

LA Drew.

Speaker 2:

Brees even, oh, yeah.

Speaker 1:

No but yeah, 100% some, some, if you look at Aaron Rodgers play style by themselves.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean listen what football comes down to as far as winning. Wise, at least in my opinion, is the ownership and the people like in charge. You know they are the ones who make the magic happen. Players can only do so much. Cuz Aaron Rodgers just one.

Speaker 3:

Just one, mccarthy. Yeah, I think, just one.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, unfortunately, yeah, but yeah, the players gonna do so much. They gotta follow play call, they gotta follow rules, they gotta follow all this stuff.

Speaker 1:

I agree and I agree, you know, but it's unfortunate for everybody, though Some people are fortunate, some people, but as far as watching like film or highlights, whatever you want to call it like.

Speaker 2:

That's my top five in order.

Speaker 1:

I think Damarino's no, I respect him. Yeah, I respect him, definitely my top ten, like he's definitely probably. Definitely my six.

Speaker 2:

I understand the pain manning because look at the statistics.

Speaker 1:

But you got to also statistics and the awards and the accolades that he actually did to. You got to understand.

Speaker 2:

He also had a had an all-time Colts team on that team.

Speaker 1:

Well, on the Broncos, in the Broncos, I mean I'm gonna first say like I'm not the first to say but you know Well.

Speaker 2:

I'm saying for the Colts wise, you bring up, you bring up all-time teams of all time, right, like the Cowboys. Who you're gonna say for quarterback probably Troy.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we the first for the well, it's like our generation, it's like the Cowboys very people have, have like all-time teams that all played together.

Speaker 2:

He's not. You guys know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, so like they had.

Speaker 2:

What? Edwin James or whatever Edwin? What's his name? Edgar in James, I green the running back on the Colts.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Edgar in. Yeah, he's a whole team, right or something. He put up pushing it out numbers.

Speaker 2:

He had Reggie Wayne, yeah, dallas Clark. Oh yeah, marvin Harrison. Hmm, they're all on one. And Jeff Saturday, right? Oh, yeah, he had an all-time Colts team.

Speaker 3:

Playing at one time. That's very rare.

Speaker 1:

No.

Speaker 2:

I only like two other teams like that, one of them the Cowboys Detroit man. I'm a Smith Michael Irving.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, Charles Haley, no that was later.

Speaker 2:

It was earlier, oh earlier earlier oh wow. Yeah, that's my, that's my rebuttal man for that, but yeah.

Speaker 1:

I don't disagree. All right, it's great. But unfortunately you're stuck with the team you get drafted to where?

Speaker 2:

you know, of course, gives you the contract and you know you're doomed.

Speaker 3:

It's what you make out of it.

Speaker 1:

And then Peyton Manning snuck an extra ball out of there, which the defense was fantastic about. Miller led defense as to, you know, bronco territory, but I think you could Argue that your breezes up there.

Speaker 3:

No, he's top 10 drew breeze can argue All right, I mean top seven. I mean, could I wasn't putting a number to?

Speaker 2:

I'm a, I'm a two-card Aaron Rodgers and put in Peyton Manning. Just love it. Just other respect it is though.

Speaker 1:

Johnnie, you can't, you could but listen. There's probably a couple other. Gram, and so they came in the ultimate but those all before me this thing it was too early, too early for me, like I just I don't know enough. And his career was from the 50s to the 70s. That's what I'm saying. Like I don't know enough.

Speaker 2:

Like yeah, I know their names, I know they were great, but like I never got to win them or never really got to like the Phil's in black and white, I don't count it. That's the problem I never watched it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, otto Graham, sid Luckman, sammy ball.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, like great John LA.

Speaker 3:

Like.

Speaker 2:

I guess yeah you know, but that's the problem so All right, now let's do that's pretty good. Now which one?

Speaker 1:

Oh, so top five today. Yeah, I didn't. I didn't do anything with this one, so I'm gonna write it down while you guys go, go ahead All right wait hold on hold on. I worked on this. That took me like five minutes to do, all right, so I want to hit the button again. I like hitting these buttons. All right, you guys go ahead. I'm gonna write them down over here.

Speaker 3:

You want to start. I have my top four and I have my fifth.

Speaker 1:

That's fine All right, let's all, let's all agree with my homes is one yeah, right right now, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Joe Burrow to Okay, Josh Allen three okay, the Marjax and four Okay.

Speaker 2:

Oh, you don't have a fist.

Speaker 3:

All right, you go your top five you can say back five at school say say a filler five. Are we going regular season?

Speaker 1:

or playoffs. Well, that's why I'm not taking Josh Allen. You gotta put it all. Josh Allen's not not up there for me. He's probably my fifth, because he's the same boat as Dak Great, you have a great regular season here MVP candidate, but you don't bowl in the playoffs like no, you remember that chief spills. Like that was crazy he lost because of the BS, but that's like one game like the dude's been talking about every year. I was like, oh, he's so good, his arm is so good, he is dude Super Bowl.

Speaker 3:

Stack has seen you land.

Speaker 1:

That is terrible in the playoffs. He's not my top 10, almost like I'm a virgin and kicked on my top 10 now.

Speaker 3:

So the thing is, is that I think this even this year? It wasn't his fault. Remember the kicker missed a 40. Yes, like a 40 yard field goal. That's not his fault.

Speaker 2:

I don't play. Listen, listen. Josh Allen is is is new day and age breath. He's a gunslinger. He's gonna run around, he's gonna chuck the ball. He's gonna try and win the game. That's what I like it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and in today's game he is one of the best. Yeah, I'd say like you got a win, but like, regardless of that, he's still one natural talent. I mean right, yes, yeah, so put a filler five in the console. This could be. I mean, you got a lot, you got Herbert means who will?

Speaker 1:

a night and Russia's injured, but he's still there.

Speaker 3:

I would say hurts. But after what? The Eagles collapsing.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, but again you're saying the same thing though. Well, you're, come, you're. They collapsed too.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

But I'm just saying like it's the same thing, like it's what, that's the problem, it's so down.

Speaker 2:

There's the system quarterback.

Speaker 1:

It's so hard, he's will be well, I I agree with my homes and burrow top two. Yeah, I wrote the injury obviously, but like he he's still, I still think still up there. Josh Allen's a good one. I just I don't know where he lands.

Speaker 3:

I think Lamar. I mean Lamar chokes in the playoffs, though every, every every year. I thought really this was his year, so that's right. I mean Lamar chokes in the playoffs, though every every year. I thought really this was his year, so that's right.

Speaker 2:

Alright, so you have a fifth, I guess I'll go.

Speaker 3:

I want to say Herbert, but he just, I mean he doesn't have weapons. Can you blame the guy you know?

Speaker 2:

well, toward the end of the season, didn't but? Keenan Allen, mike Williams, quinn Johnson was supposed to be that guy. Your Quinn Johnson busts. Who's your?

Speaker 3:

title.

Speaker 2:

Gerald Everett yeah right.

Speaker 3:

Do they still have him?

Speaker 2:

for this upcoming season? I believe so.

Speaker 3:

I mean it's definitely not the worst one, Joe flacco.

Speaker 2:

Oh Jersey Joe no all right, so go ahead.

Speaker 3:

All right, just go, I'm gonna start story about it.

Speaker 1:

Go ahead, take it away.

Speaker 2:

All right, so one we're going. The Holmes homie to Josh Allen hey. I'm man, I guess. Oh three, I'm going. Lamar for burrow. Five Trevor Lawrence right now, that's mine wait, say it again, I'm sorry. Mahomes, one, lamar, two, burrow three. Oh no, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1:

Mahomes one.

Speaker 2:

Jackson. Josh Allen a two. Lamar Jackson a three, four. Joe burrow, five.

Speaker 3:

Trevor Lawrence that was my Joe burrows, not top three, though it's interesting. It's the injury, I'm telling you. I mean, he's the modern day.

Speaker 1:

They're gonna throw people off. He's the modern, he's the modern day Jim Kelly. So look at him. I'm going with Mahomes, I'm going with burrow, I'm putting Jackson in front of Allen, and that's only because.

Speaker 2:

MVP.

Speaker 1:

MVP status, but also because he built it to run more. Yeah and he's more of a dual threat. But Allen is definitely a better arm thrower. I agree with that. And then Allen, I have a four. And then I said before, I have Aaron Rodgers at five. Yeah just because it is Aaron Rodgers and yeah that sucks for the Jets, but they could have done some really good damage on the field.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, not to his leg. You know what I'm putting?

Speaker 3:

two out five.

Speaker 2:

Two uh two.

Speaker 1:

He had a good year. Yeah, he had a solid year, it's just hey, now he's still a little younger, his career it's just when they play in the cold too, they, they suck in the but that's football, that's football, man, that's.

Speaker 3:

that's what sucks with being on Miami too. Yeah, you're a Tampa boy.

Speaker 1:

Nice weather man, it's terrible.

Speaker 3:

You're a Tampa boy. Good, did Tampa Bay plan. Who did they play?

Speaker 1:

I don't know. He's. Nobody knows what you're talking about.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I have no clue.

Speaker 3:

Who did?

Speaker 1:

Tampa Bay plan the playoffs. Oh the playoffs. Who's? They played 16 other teams. I don't know.

Speaker 3:

I don't remember. I know they played the uh the Eagles and they beat them.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 3:

I don't know. They played in Tampa Bay.

Speaker 1:

All right, so next, next fun one is oh Of the AK. That's an AK, yeah, oh, my god I was getting. I only know because I downloaded it. Yeah, yeah. So rapid fire questions what is your go-to Now? An alcoholic drink, like your restaurant, or something like that you're ordering. What are you ordering? Coke?

Speaker 2:

Is it tap water?

Speaker 1:

You could have tap water if you want. So you want.

Speaker 2:

I mean is there is the? Does restaurant have regular water Like?

Speaker 3:

I don't know is what are you gonna order? Oh, I mean, well, if the place has tap water.

Speaker 2:

I'm not wearing tap water.

Speaker 3:

No one's ordering tap water. Go to drink a beer, it's a damn it probably nice tea, sweet and run.

Speaker 2:

Sweet Depends how I'm feeling that day.

Speaker 1:

True to that's a pen for me if I did an iced tea approach, it's unsweetened, which is my answer on sweet nice tea. But do you put a good point? I might feel a frog.

Speaker 3:

I went to the raspberry, to the raspberry tea.

Speaker 1:

So like certain places have raspberry, like the good raspberry, I go for that, or lemonade or or just the half and half.

Speaker 3:

Arnold Palmer actually squeezed to lemonade though. Oh dude, yeah, oh my god, kyle, can you?

Speaker 1:

open up a lemonade stand for us. Yeah, kyle's lemonade yeah it's a good idea To make you national bro.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, wouldn't even be 25 cents anymore, it'd be like a dollar inflation.

Speaker 1:

Bro. I'm saying, say yeah if you'd a hundred K Like watch a lot of lemonade but now it's not five dollars a cup, yeah, nowadays.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you got to accept them, oh, and stuff just for payments, because nobody carries cash anymore either. Yeah, yeah, just put one arm.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, just put one arm again.

Speaker 2:

So it looks like you have one arm. It's terrible.

Speaker 1:

Good, all right go to Alcoholic beverage, so this could be at the bar. Or you could go to the liquor store and scoop something up and chill, like whatever you want. What are you grabbing?

Speaker 3:

All right, it's between two. For me I don't even want to say specific beer, because I got like three favorites. I mean I'll say like a stellar corona or modelo Mojito too, okay, wow.

Speaker 2:

I'll go senior vibes here. I'm mean, I don't. I'm really more of like whatever someone else was drinking, I'll have whatever you're having as long as it's not like that's valid. Yeah, like I'll have whiskey. I don't like vodka at all.

Speaker 1:

All right, go to the bar. You're by yourself, okay, okay. And someone's like, what can I get you?

Speaker 3:

I'm sorry, with a beer. I'm sorry, I mean, am I?

Speaker 2:

coming. Am I walking in that bar, all sad like it's? Over yeah, probably a modelo.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you just went through a breakup. You're going to a bar.

Speaker 2:

Give me eight shots of cosmigos. Give me five long island eyes, dude Five lits. Yeah, five lits.

Speaker 1:

So for me right now, and Kyle, I mean well, you both know, you both have.

Speaker 2:

Just the monster dude.

Speaker 1:

They'll spiked monsters. Yeah, they are good, Are we yeah?

Speaker 3:

but they don't have them up.

Speaker 1:

No, the bar is like I'm tensing the mood. The same thing. No, like you know, my go-to beer is like a Guinness.

Speaker 2:

That's your go-to no no, no, just Guinness.

Speaker 1:

Okay, not dark style, just Guinness in general.

Speaker 2:

Okay, but then I'll try it.

Speaker 1:

I'd like any type of beer.

Speaker 2:

That's like a heavier beer I'm into like sourced right now in particular.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but like I'm into sourced in particular right now. So like that fruitiness, like it's just, I'm into flavors.

Speaker 3:

Remember the fruity pebbles one, oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I got that down. What was?

Speaker 3:

the other one too. He had like a bunch of oh dude, there were so many patch kids.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, there's those um, so the other ones is at the tailgate and we had the mountain do's yeah yeah, but we can only get them, like in Connecticut's, like the closest place to get them, and the other ones that I need to try, that people keep telling me about, and again only up like north, northeastern and other parts of the world. I guess Mm-hmm. Lipton iced tea, energy drinks energy or spike. Oh, I'm sorry.

Speaker 2:

I spiked Nestle Nestle owns in that lift and don't know.

Speaker 3:

Lipton, I see, was always a right.

Speaker 2:

That's crazy yeah.

Speaker 1:

So people are telling me how like, how like, just.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, lipton was a mid like yeah, yeah, what's pretty. No, brisk was the go-to.

Speaker 1:

Brisk was the champ, no, but they have Lipton brisk or Lipton spiked teas Arizona. They tried Duncan donut ones. They're still sitting in my fridge.

Speaker 3:

They're very strong, Don't they have a spike yeah they weren't.

Speaker 2:

I don't know why they would even do that. Duncan just ruined.

Speaker 3:

No, there was the one that was decent, the strawberry.

Speaker 1:

Oh, the strawberry passion, something that was okay. I know a polar, yeah, yeah, one of them, but yeah, that's was disappointing.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, the other ones were terrible.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so those are my. Do they have a much out of Lipton?

Speaker 3:

Arnold Palmer's are good. I'm a pond's a honorable mention.

Speaker 1:

Good. The other thing is, if I was doing a cocktail, you know I would love to go right now Stoly razz and red bull.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, that's another one too. Yeah, vodka and red bull.

Speaker 1:

Vodka and red bull, the raspberry vodka goes so well with the red bull, just mixes way too easy.

Speaker 3:

I like the Stoly Vanilla one of you had.

Speaker 1:

I'm not a vanilla guy.

Speaker 2:

No vanilla and the blue thing, blue berry, vanilla, baby. Yeah, the blueberry ones good too.

Speaker 1:

I'm more of a fruity pretty type of guy.

Speaker 3:

I love strawberry stuff Anything berries, I'm in.

Speaker 2:

yeah, I'm kind of the same, I like. I like berries, berry drink.

Speaker 1:

All right, while we're talking about, you know the Monster drinks and stuff favorite energy drink what we got. I'm a monster guy. I like monster, like the white zero ones and I like the iced tea lemonade one. So many flavors actually go to.

Speaker 2:

Wow, I was like my new favorite one is so it's a lot of energy. Celsius, yeah, celsius is good.

Speaker 3:

When you're, when you're working like on your feet, it's probably the best, because yeah it. It's like it has no caffeine or sugar in it, but it like it keeps you like going, you know. I feel, like if you're sitting down, like for me personally, and I drink it.

Speaker 2:

It doesn't give me energy right if I'm like moving around right, it's like a, it's like um, it's like a Miller light Compared to like a regular Miller. You know what I'm saying. It's like a, it's like a.

Speaker 3:

A lighter energy drink, yeah, but it just got no like it's a carbonation either. Healthier alternative.

Speaker 1:

No, where do you get this act? Because I went to give that a whirled Celsius.

Speaker 2:

How many calories it's like. Aren't they like 10 calories. Dude, there's this new flavor.

Speaker 3:

I like that one for you. Really, is it even 10? I don't even think it's 10 calories, it's gotta be something.

Speaker 1:

It's gotta be some kind of calorie count there, but uh like ridiculous.

Speaker 3:

There's this new flavor, that that I just dropped. That I wanted to try, but Uh, they got some good flavors up. Sounds good, call it orange, arctic berry, it's 10 calories.

Speaker 2:

Oh wow, kiwi guava too bad a world, then yeah, you might actually actually.

Speaker 1:

I stuck on Leonard monsters bro, Then, just like well that's like one of the, og it's the og you had the monster fridge, the og's are at the monster fridge.

Speaker 2:

Did you have a red?

Speaker 3:

bull fridge. Yeah, though G's are monster, red bull, red bull, I still like red bull and wasn't there another one?

Speaker 2:

Oh, in the day that was nozz no uh, yeah, nozz, Blue one. Yeah, blue and orange. I remember that being a never. I never liked them. Those look like cancer. And it was wait, wait, wait. What was it, nozz?

Speaker 3:

Oh I yeah, I tried that one when I was younger. Terribly wait.

Speaker 1:

Let's get into the favorite sodas real fast.

Speaker 2:

Wait, because hey, so like I was drinking.

Speaker 1:

Don't you like nozz?

Speaker 2:

the ghost, ghost energy. Orange cream school is my favorite, oh.

Speaker 3:

Oh, I remember I don't even.

Speaker 2:

I don't even drink energy drinks like that, but I had one of those one time.

Speaker 3:

I I always three packs off. Yeah, I used to ask you for one all the time.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I know, I brought him a softball a few times. For you the ghosts are good.

Speaker 3:

They're so good. The ghosts are good too, though they got a lot of good flavors, those are fire, that's interesting. And uh, c4 too c4 got like a skittles. Oh wow they got skittles of the strawberry, starburst one they got.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I had that one signed me up for that a blue raspberry Actually, dude the first one is good. I want the starburst. We're going 711 after this boy. Okay, dude, I'm just gonna load up one of each, it does have 200 milligrams. No, we'll just do a shot of each or something, we'll do a taste of every single one. Yeah, because now I don't know anymore.

Speaker 1:

All right so you guys remind me of something. We're gonna jump into favorite soda. Yeah, only because the one I thought of is not my favorite. So I'll go the favorite first, black cherry. The stewards root beer one, but that in the black cherry Unbelievable.

Speaker 3:

I like all stewards personally.

Speaker 1:

They're all good. You can't go wrong, like the cream, sickle cream, no, even just the cream so I'm so that one was good too.

Speaker 3:

The the orange. Yeah, but the orange one's good too. Yeah, there's another one. I'm trying to try to think it's just root beer.

Speaker 2:

All right, sean, what is it? Yeah, stuart's, you're just Um.

Speaker 1:

I go to soda, damn probably have one of the best. I mean, I'm not a drinker.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, I'm not really either. Back in the day when I was it's probably like Mountain Dew I got Dr Pepper from on Mountain.

Speaker 3:

Dew, but they had the red one. Yeah, code Red. The red one used to be your favorite, right?

Speaker 2:

No, oh gee the regular one.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, green, you still love the red one. I like Code Red too, yeah, but the blue one's got two voltage.

Speaker 2:

voltage that was good and they had like a white out there.

Speaker 1:

So they used to make the soda. It's called jolt cola. I've never heard of it. It was this dude red can.

Speaker 3:

You know what RC Cola.

Speaker 1:

And there was like RC Cola right.

Speaker 2:

I love RC Cola. That is good.

Speaker 1:

It says all the sugar and twice the caffeine. That's their slogan. That's their slogan. Do you know? People probably got diabetes from just trying one of these. Yeah oh, they discontinued making it in 2019. It was still around in 2019.

Speaker 3:

Fda approved that the whole time. Oh my god, Wait. So how long has it been around for? Probably since the 80s.

Speaker 1:

They re-, they relaunched it the 1990s oh harbloded soda. And they relaunched it back in 2014, and it only lasted five years, but oh my.

Speaker 2:

I never heard of joke Cola before.

Speaker 1:

But that's your slogan you're done.

Speaker 2:

That was like a thing, though back then like joke Cola. Yeah, they didn't have a lot. They know it was rare. It was hard to find too, but like when you found, like you're like oh yeah, yeah, you're like it's rare I got that hook up you know, I know Exxon's got it.

Speaker 1:

Boys, we got to go to Exxon tonight after school. Again on your huffing and fly to school, get joke, cola.

Speaker 2:

I liked RC Cola.

Speaker 3:

Those never had RC's throwback, though that's that was like the uh, like a Walmart, I actually they sold it at shopper like a few oh really, yeah, they sold it in like cans, like a pack.

Speaker 1:

All right, I'm throwing one more topic out there, kyle, just because you you said, uh, you said Skittles, or reminded me of something. So Easter's coming, mm-hmm, let's talk about Easter candy, because I feel like this could be a really hot topic for a lot of people mm-hmm but there's some that like kind of seal the deal for me, and and it's the first one is the Cadbury eggs.

Speaker 3:

No, yeah, I don't like the Cadbury cream.

Speaker 1:

I like the Cadbury with caramel. Mm-hmm, oh that velvety caramel and the other one. I don't really like jelly beans that much.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but the starburst jelly beans.

Speaker 1:

I got them on my counter when we get out of here, just so you guys know.

Speaker 2:

CBS thought they're for the kids. No, the starburst ones out of a different to you claimed them.

Speaker 3:

I'll do you make.

Speaker 2:

It makes you think, though, like what's? Because what's the main brand of jelly beans? Isn't it like jelly?

Speaker 1:

belly, your D? A.

Speaker 2:

Oh, geez right. So like that was fun, I was around for like forever, right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Think about how much money they mean off that. But then starburst came out with a no-where and I personally feel like it so here's my big, my big debate.

Speaker 1:

For people like a, I don't want regular jelly beans, I want the flavor like the right neighbors. And it goes like the candy canes to. People still buy the peppermint candy canes. I don't want that, no one given the starburst ones right. So the skittle ones give me this sour patch kids, ones like, yeah, they're, they're the exotic, they'd sour patch kids, watermelon, jelly beans. Oh, so that's all the store. That's what I had to go to ask kids water but to me.

Speaker 1:

I had to hit a starburst. The blue was always the best I had to, but the same thing. Why? Why am I selling for this old-school flavor? Yeah, this one I can get the. You know the updated flavor. No All right, here's what. Here's what the debate comes in, though I.

Speaker 2:

Already know, peeps, yeah, what the garbage the people like peeps.

Speaker 1:

Thank you.

Speaker 2:

It's insane. So much I don't even know the.

Speaker 1:

Yesterday, I should have done that.

Speaker 3:

I'm used to get that for us from.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I chose yeah well.

Speaker 2:

It was a shitty marshmallow with like food color, sugar.

Speaker 1:

It was like a crunchy munger melon Dude. Shaped like a. Shaped like a bunny rabbit or no, it was just pure garbage.

Speaker 2:

You want to be a millionaire? Come up with a new invention for peeps, like a different.

Speaker 1:

Have the same shape. Yeah, starburst, yeah, I'm just don't do. Yeah, no, do marshmallows, but do like starburst flavored marshmallows. Okay, I don't know, I don't know. Just say they have like, stop, whatever happened, but it filled marshmallow. Did you ever have the strawberry marshmallows?

Speaker 2:

Those are good.

Speaker 1:

So you put that with a chocolate bar, dude, make it, make us more out of that like.

Speaker 3:

Oh dude, I really should sell them. Oh my, they don't sell them anymore, I don't know, I don't know. I haven't seen them in a while in the tall I know that's interesting, right there.

Speaker 1:

Hmm, oh yeah, man, the people's like one of the things just just gotta go away. It's just got to go away. That's groupie, stop it. And then you got like all these little chocolate eggs and stuff and the chocolate bunny is Eggs like what are they? Cadberries.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's what you're talking about.

Speaker 1:

The Cadbury cream, yeah, and then they have the Cadbury carom, yeah, yeah, caramel depending who's listening to the show caramel, but it's not caramel. It's caramel to me, yeah. So I like the caramel ones because it's just I don't know, it's like that. That caramel's just so damn good and there's a lot of caramel to a little bit of chocolate, so it's like a really good ratio, like those are like childhood right there, man.

Speaker 3:

No, I mean, and then you get like the bunny shaped chocolates. Yeah, I don't there's like different brands of yeah like lint or Lindor, one of them you know, but, there was the next day.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so we went to CBS yesterday and Literally they had like these big, like 12 by 12 inch Reese's hearts with like filled with Reese's new, and it was normally like $10 and we got them for 250 of each.

Speaker 3:

That's what they do. This is crazy like a holidays over exactly Whatever and then this is real.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I fuck with CV.

Speaker 1:

But like let's go, yeah, like I, I Like what. I'm just gonna wait till, you know, february 15th for Valentine's. Day you know I'm gonna start selling Valentine's Day with everybody I know the next day, so we can all go to CVS the next day. Go pay 75% on cards, 75% on this, and then we'll celebrate on the 16th. Okay, we don't need we don't need to go.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm just gonna change. It's been Christmas, all right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, this is a new family rule between us right now, when we get older and you guys get families right.

Speaker 2:

How long is that in the?

Speaker 1:

picture we're gonna do. January 2nd is gonna be Christmas for us.

Speaker 3:

We're gonna have stupid candy though.

Speaker 1:

Yeah well, Halloween in.

Speaker 2:

In November, we'll put out the bullet candy the next day.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, screw the kids. Yeah, no one, no one, no, put aside in the door that says I'm sorry, we celebrate on the first. Yeah, yeah, I'm number first. I'm sorry, no time for first for your candy? Yeah, well, that's what I'm gonna do. We're gonna change all. We're gonna change the game. We're gonna have these Hallmark holidays. We're gonna change the game. We should do Easter. We're gonna do Easter Monday. We're not gonna do Easter Sunday. Get out of here. Same patties day.

Speaker 2:

You know, a lot of money out that's some science.

Speaker 1:

You're gonna save 75% of what you bought Crazy. I love it. All right. You watch now. This is gonna catch on and people are gonna go crazy Like dude. This guy's a genius.

Speaker 3:

Fourth of July, stuff dude. That's another dude. The fifth of July, I love the fifth of July.

Speaker 1:

the fifth of July is better than the fourth. Oh yeah, yeah, right, all the fire stinker. To Mayo yeah, we're gonna do. Say St Amayo. Yeah, like you know, say St Amayo or Ocho to Mayo, we're gonna something crazy. We're gonna have fun. I Love it, although the alcohol never goes on sale. So, yeah, we're not gonna have luck with that.

Speaker 3:

All right, should be on Christmas. All right now it might be.

Speaker 1:
