Speaker 1:

we are firing up season two. Welcome back. The long hiatus is over. Sean got a job and screwed the pooch. Wait what's a hiatus? Like a long break come on seriously, guy.

Speaker 2:

Okay, let's relax like I was freaking listening to school oh my god, dude, use ai I've never, heard any of you say that word before dude, I hate it.

Speaker 1:

I don't say it, but I know what it is, though, bro never heard.

Speaker 2:

I thought it was like a part of a poem or something. What like you? Like a haiku?

Speaker 1:

yes, like that, oh my god, I don't know what's worse that he didn't know what it was, or I knew what he was talking?

Speaker 2:

about. Oh no, that's why I explain stuff the way I do this is not good this is not a way to start off season two. This is not a good start.

Speaker 1:

I think it was great.

Speaker 4:

This is oh, I got that was all right.

Speaker 1:

No, all right. Let's man up and get through this cuz.

Speaker 2:

That was just dude men don't know the word how come on oh my god, you know, plethora means yeah, plethora of things like a lot abundance, sean, but there's no hiatuses, yeah haiku same thing you've never heard.

Speaker 4:

Like uh, no, bro, no, whatever you explain, no, I'd like you. You want you watch it? Yeah, someone takes a break for a while, they come back and they say sorry, I was on my hiatus yeah, I was on a break.

Speaker 2:

You guys could have said break it's a normal word.

Speaker 3:

That's what it Okay.

Speaker 4:

Whoever knows?

Speaker 2:

hiatus listens to this podcast. You're insane. What's a podcast Podcast, Ew.

Speaker 1:

Podcast. Oh my God, that's all I got to say to you. Yeah, you guys are hating on me oh my God, I love that song. Sorry, I had to hit it at least once.

Speaker 4:

Every time I think of that song, I just think of ballers. Every single time.

Speaker 1:

You know the intro.

Speaker 2:

That's what I think of Little Wayne. You know what I think of.

Speaker 3:

That's the common answer. An aner's gonna ain't.

Speaker 1:

Alright, alright, episode one. We're back in action. We are going to talk about everything. We are going to hit every walk of life out there. Maybe, maybe.

Speaker 2:

I thought of our intro. I'm sorry. Oh, what is it? What do you mean? Our intro, our intro, like our name for the first podcast. They hiatus because they ain't us. Oh dude. No, no you think I'm AI or something.

Speaker 1:

I don't know if that's good or bad. I like it.

Speaker 4:

It's very corny, but it's good. No, it's not.

Speaker 2:

It's original Dude. I don't know All right they hiatus because, they ain't us.

Speaker 1:

All right, well, listen At least we'll get it.

Speaker 1:

If AI is listening, which they will be shortly, to help me edit this thing. I hope they hear me say that, and if they want to put that in there, no problem, because I just listen to what AI says. Why do I have to do any work? That's fair, all right. So we have a lot to catch up on. Sports world is ridiculous. We're going to hold off on most things sports until next week because that's going to take way too long and we don't want people to fall asleep too early in our show. We'd like to get them through a couple episodes before they hear us ranting and raving about sports.

Speaker 1:

Next week we're going to talk about TV, because TV has blown up this past month. There's shows on every platform that are.

Speaker 1:

Too many platforms, but these shows are fantastic. We're going to get to them all. We're going to have a lot of spoiler alert. Spoiler alert be ready for that. Um, yeah, we got some new buttons here. Folks, we're having fun. Um, new season new buttons. That should be the name of the show. New season new buttons. Um. So a few things we're going to get into today is we're getting some video games, so let's just crack off with the world of video games. There's some big games dropping soon.

Speaker 2:

Um who wants to?

Speaker 1:

start with what's what's drop.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, football man college football, college football 2025.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, college football is back for the first time and I don't know how long it's been, a while it's going to be so long.

Speaker 3:

14 was the last one.

Speaker 4:

And that guy from Michigan was on the cover.

Speaker 1:

The guy.

Speaker 2:

You know who I'm talking about.

Speaker 4:

Dre Archer. No, that's not him.

Speaker 2:

I don't know. I think I'm right. You know who it was.

Speaker 1:

Taco Charlton from Michigan. Hey, that guy is terrible. Jj McCarthy, he's also terrible. So how do we feel about this game?

Speaker 4:

I think it's going to be very highly anticipated. I think for a lot of people that used to play it back in the day Out the gate they said it's going to be a different format than Madden has been for the last five years which

Speaker 1:

is fantastic because Madden has not for the last five years, which is fantastic because Madden has not changed.

Speaker 4:

Have you seen the trailer? Yeah, I've seen Game Boy, dude. It looks so fun. It looks good, dude, I want to do this.

Speaker 2:

There's one complaint I have we need to do a franchise, though, where we all recruit five-star recruits.

Speaker 4:

How many?

Speaker 3:

chips we can bring to the school.

Speaker 4:

The shoulder pads. Look way too.

Speaker 2:

I wasn't even looking at shoulder pads. Yeah, what are you looking at? I'm just looking at every detail how'd their legs look?

Speaker 4:

I didn't see that, but it's kind of obvious when you look at the trailer. I'm just saying okay. I don't know.

Speaker 2:

I didn't look, I didn't notice that I'm just saying.

Speaker 4:

I've heard a lot of people talk about it too Were the pants tight. Again, didn't look at the oh, so you only look at shoulders.

Speaker 1:

You're a shoulders guy, got it.

Speaker 2:

He's an upper body guy, upper body.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm excited. The biggest thing I'm hyped about is Rutgers made the cut.

Speaker 2:

Are you going to pick them in the?

Speaker 1:

franchise. Yeah, you won't, I got you. Hey, oh, 100, 100%, I don't care about anybody else. Actually today dropped the ranking, so top 25 when teams are ranked. Like overall like 89s, overall 91s. Oh, I hear you. So that just dropped today. Actually, what's record? They only showed the top 25. They're not near that, oh shit.

Speaker 3:

Damn. I hope they have a franchise like that, though I hope so too they have an ultimate team july 19th, which I don't know how they have an ultimate team yeah, I don't know how it's gonna work, you know how you know how it might work oh my god, it'd be cool if it does old players yeah, that would be hype

Speaker 4:

but the thing is is that reggie bush.

Speaker 2:

I don't like that. It's t-bow time.

Speaker 1:

I don't like that, it's dropping Tebow time.

Speaker 4:

I don't like that it's dropping a month before Madden.

Speaker 3:

No, they had to do that.

Speaker 4:

No, but I feel like that takes a lot away from Madden it does, but people are still going to be playing that Madden's been repetitive since the Odell cover 17?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's been the same format of gameplay.

Speaker 4:

They haven't changed it's pretty beat.

Speaker 1:

I don't like that, though I don't personal I don't either.

Speaker 2:

No, they gotta do something different, like at least every like two years, switch it up remember when 15 dropped 15 the transition to 16 to the odell cover and the whole gameplay changed yeah, and then you went to even 17.

Speaker 4:

But yeah, some mechanics changed, but like they're, at least they're changing stuff.

Speaker 1:

But it's the way they drown the game, in my opinion. Back in the day like we talked about this.

Speaker 4:

You could grind. Do you remember the?

Speaker 1:

Darrell Rivas cards and stuff, the puzzle pieces. They should have brought back the puzzle pieces and stuff like that. They could have made, they could have went such a good direction.

Speaker 4:

Remember the gifts.

Speaker 2:

The promos were just awesome, but anymore you don't make it to Christmas anymore.

Speaker 1:

I can't make it to Thanksgiving anymore.

Speaker 4:

That's the problem. I still think, I still love that I know.

Speaker 1:

The feast packs and stuff.

Speaker 4:

I used to get a whole dinner made. And the solo challenges. The solo challenges, make the games.

Speaker 2:

There's no more good solo challenges, bro.

Speaker 1:

All right Perfect example MLB, the show Great. Mlb, the show great, the newest one it's great 24, it's 24. Right, it's the newest one.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, fantastic it's like I don't even watch baseball that much. I'm starting to watch baseball more because I'm playing, but it's not liquid down.

Speaker 1:

So much no, and they have the seasons that now, if you want to play online, you can't play with your 99 overall team.

Speaker 2:

You got to regrind to get it, but you can get it in solo challenges.

Speaker 1:

It's not that hard yeah, but you can get it. Get it, that's what I'm saying. You don't have to pay a million dollars.

Speaker 4:

Bro. I've been playing FIFA here and there. I haven't played in a week. I was playing for a few days straight. Yeah, just from playing the game and learning players and stuff. I started actually watching highlights of players.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, because I like.

Speaker 4:

Man City, so I've been watching.

Speaker 2:

You like the best team. Dude, can you play with Rexon please?

Speaker 1:

next time you play.

Speaker 3:

Because they made the cut.

Speaker 4:

They made the cut last year. All the hype Maybe? Why do you like?

Speaker 2:

Man City. That's the best team, erland.

Speaker 4:

Holland just went there. Where is our? Yeah, I love Erland Holland. That's my favorite player.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he was so washed, okay, here we go oh he's rinsed.

Speaker 3:

He shouldn't have said it he's rinsed. No, he's rinsed.

Speaker 1:

Well, for you that don't know, out there we've had a lot of talks about the word washed, so we will be getting into these greatness labels we put in sports players like generational gold washed.

Speaker 1:

Or no labels we put in sports players like generational. Let's just do it now, washed or no. You want to get right into it right now, or is that for next week? No, I was gonna do it today, but I was trying to get some non-sports out there for those, for those people that don't want to hear about sports 24 7, but brought up a sports game, and this is where it's the problem. Dude like sports is where the world revolves around. All right, we're gonna get back to that.

Speaker 4:

All right, that's well I think that's the best debate.

Speaker 1:

to my opinion, it is, it is, it is, but we want to be in the Trump debate. We want to, yeah, not watching that I actually.

Speaker 4:

Well, I don't like that they cut off the mic now for the yeah, I want to hear Trump yell at him.

Speaker 1:

That's what I'm saying no, it's a q a it's an actual debate now where they'll give them time to rebuttal, but they can't step on top of other people's no, it's not even a debate, though.

Speaker 4:

That's a q a at that point, no this it's stupid yeah, it's only stupid for trump supporters.

Speaker 1:

Really, let's be real, because he's the one. He's the one if you watch the shane gillis, uh, yeah, uh, yeah, it's all special, yeah especially, yeah, he talks about um, all right, all right, college football gonna be a great game.

Speaker 2:

25 I, I, I'm gonna grind that harder than madden? Yes, I'm not, I might not even buy madden, dude, I'm being real this game.

Speaker 4:

This game is that good has ultimate team and franchise. I'm I'm probably that's all I'm gonna play, because the franchise is gonna be insane.

Speaker 2:

You could recruit players, do you remember?

Speaker 4:

um so dope remember when madden added like what is it called, the backyard or whatever? You create a player and then you, oh yeah, I know they should have something, they had a whole separate storyline yeah, but they should have no.

Speaker 2:

No with the players backyard. I know he's talking.

Speaker 1:

I know he's talking about story mode. No, it was like a player from like nebraska or something like that yeah, the story mode yeah, but it was a name for it, though I think. No, there was a story though. Yeah, there is a name.

Speaker 4:

No, it's not the backyard, damn it.

Speaker 1:

I don't remember, but I know what you're talking about exactly.

Speaker 4:

I'm just saying they should add something similar to that. I think, Because for college.

Speaker 1:

I mean they could. That's actually easier because up-and-.

Speaker 4:

I feel like oh you're talking about for NCAA Transition into Madden. That would be a cool idea, okay.

Speaker 1:

What do you mean, Kyle? You should go work for EA Right.

Speaker 4:

Thank you.

Speaker 1:

The player you create that goes into College Football 25, gets plays for four years and gets drafted into Madden.

Speaker 2:

That's a sick idea. That is sick. Like your player carries over the next month Right. Like.

Speaker 1:

Like your player carries over Literally a month later you have a month to grind that player to get him up.

Speaker 4:

Literally, the story starts by the draft.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, the draft, you draft it Maybe they do do that. I don't know. That's cool, it's a cool crossover.

Speaker 2:

I'm interested to see how the Ultimate Team is, and I'm very interested in Franchise.

Speaker 4:

That's it but with Madden, bro, like Madden you just got to focus on Ultimate Team and Franchise 2. It's the same thing Do you think they'll have Superstar KO NCAA? Yeah, no, something similar to it.

Speaker 2:

Maybe, yeah, maybe.

Speaker 1:

Well, I'm hyped for it. Is it coming out for?

Speaker 2:

the Switch Not available on PC or Switch NCAA, isn't it? Nope, xbox.

Speaker 1:

Unbelievable PlayStation 5 and. Xbox All right, so I can't play it Next game.

Speaker 2:

Can you have an Xbox?

Speaker 1:

I have an Xbox. One or something yes.

Speaker 4:

The original Same yeah OG.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, just called Xbox. All right, any other games? We talked about Madden a little bit already. What are you guys playing right now? Mlb, mlb.

Speaker 4:

FIFA, fifa.

Speaker 3:

I'm just grinding, I just got 99 monkey bets Minecraft.

Speaker 1:

I got a 99, chris Bryant. That's dope. Third base that's dope. I needed a third baseman. Somebody else too. I don't remember. I'm still playing Pokemon too. I do want to talk about one.

Speaker 4:

It's fantastic. Come on Go.

Speaker 1:

I'm still trying. Yeah go, you guys see the new Trying to get that silver Mewtwo, the shiny Mew, the armor, shiny Mew, no, shiny M, give it to me.

Speaker 2:

You don't play the game because it's the most rare one in the game okay, so give it to me because you're not playing.

Speaker 1:

I wonder how much it sells for I don't know.

Speaker 2:

I think people would actually buy that. I'll give you five bucks no what it's more special to no cash cash bro no, I'd rather take bitcoin I prefer bitcoin, yeah yeah, um um the new clash of Clans game there's a new one.

Speaker 1:

It just hit two days ago why are we sharing?

Speaker 4:

the wealth with your brother I just did?

Speaker 1:

I didn't download it yet can we do it together?

Speaker 4:

it's the same thing as Brawl Stars, I'm just saying right now you played it, no, but. I've seen gameplay of it. It looks exactly like it you build your team right yeah, there's different aspects to it, but it's literally all stars. Yeah, like on the review, I heard like it gets Royal Match. Yes, it's the same thing. I think that I'm telling you I heard it gets very repetitive, is that?

Speaker 3:

what it's called Royal Match.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but so does what's now it's by supercell. Yeah, just type in supercell with clash royale boom, boom beach.

Speaker 4:

No squad busters that's what it is no squad busters.

Speaker 2:

Oh squad busters, yeah, okay, try it. Let me know how it's. Have you played, have you?

Speaker 4:

played brawl stars before.

Speaker 1:

I don't know play with friends pay with millions, get gems you know what it's?

Speaker 4:

it's like I heard mixed Royale and Brawl Stars in one.

Speaker 1:

There's a lot of the same characters too. No, that's what it is.

Speaker 2:

From Clash. I think that's actually a cool aspect of it, though All right. Let me know.

Speaker 1:

It might be worth it.

Speaker 2:

Let me know. Don't get fake hype about it until we download it.

Speaker 4:

Supercell might be one of the best uh yeah, it is game, game developers.

Speaker 2:

They make good stuff, they do, they do yeah all right any other games call of duty black ops 6 when's that coming? Out um no october it's gotta be october, they're usually october.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, they're like always october they used to be november, though, when the good I'm hearing, crazy good reviews about this game.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, I might be off, I might not come out of my room, just quit his job. I don't. I just gave his five months notice I used to love.

Speaker 4:

Call of duty back in the day but this, this call of duty, actually dude because cod has been so buns the last few years are you saying it's been washed?

Speaker 2:

yeah whoa, it's been that all agree, I'll agree with since, yeah, it's been washed for a while the movement in this game is like no other call of duty they changed like the whole layout finally. Yeah, wow, you could literally dolphin. You know, you remember, uh, black ops 2 you can dolphin dive, you can dive sideways from where, yeah, full movement, like full, yes, like real life. No, it's sick you know what game also, now that we're talking about games, so I have no shot at winning what?

Speaker 1:

what is it?

Speaker 2:

no dude, I'll carry you I'm toast player. It doesn't matter kyle's buns too, I'll carry you okay, come on come back to me, your bun. What kind of buns kyle? Yeah?

Speaker 4:

I.

Speaker 3:

I agree.

Speaker 2:

Toasted, extra toasty, rinsed buns.

Speaker 1:

What were you going to say? What was the other thing you were going to say? Don't you forget. Oh yeah, good call, I was just about to, too, see, I felt it leaving.

Speaker 2:

Oh shit, it left.

Speaker 1:

You said something. No, no, no, another game. There's a new game. Yeah, on.

Speaker 2:

Steam steam okay called like monge no oh no, um. You know what I need.

Speaker 4:

I need to know what you think about it I need a new horror game that comes out like a co-op horror game. I love horror games so much oh my god like slender and stuff like those those were classics.

Speaker 1:

Five nights at freddy's. I don't know any of those games, dude you don't know, five nights at freddy's.

Speaker 4:

I mean, I know what it is but I just never you.

Speaker 1:

Texas Chainsaw Massacre. One that was good too. I never played it, but again.

Speaker 4:

It's similar to Friday the 13th, but I like those concept kind of games they're interesting Among Us it's like a friendly version. I played Among Us a few weeks ago.

Speaker 1:

That came still they changed a lot of stuff.

Speaker 4:

I know they did yeah, but it's still fun I only played ones like the free trial and stuff when you have like a bunch of friends playing and they know like how to play the game and stuff, it's fun. I'm telling you interesting all right sean.

Speaker 1:

When you find that, you let us know, because obviously keep it going, you can't remember anything.

Speaker 4:

I need the new games. I don't know.

Speaker 1:

Well, those are good. I mean, that's some solid stuff right there.

Speaker 4:

They need to drop more.

Speaker 2:

I don't want more. You know why I want to grind, but I miss the days when, like new Far Cry games would come out.

Speaker 4:

I was always like a grind type of guy.

Speaker 1:

in one game I'm very loyal to like a good game Far Cry, Fallout even. Did you watch that series, by the way?

Speaker 2:

No, I have to finish it All right, I'm going to watch that too. What Fallout Dude I've heard.

Speaker 4:

No, you haven't watched it either.

Speaker 1:

No, I've heard it's so good. All right, we're going to go with that. I have to watch it.

Speaker 4:

Well, we got the Bear and Fallout. What are you watching first, I think, the Bear, because it's already out.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, next week everybody Big TV drop. A lot of spoilers next week and reviews on some TV shows. So the other thing I want to talk about is I've been going ham wild on books lately. I just started Harry Potter, the Half-Blood Prince Great movie um, I just, started. Harry potter, the half-blood prince and great movie, yeah, but it's crazy because the book is like so already so much better so I'm not even fair.

Speaker 4:

I wanted to ask will be um the comparison between the books and the movies I can finally say now that I'm almost six books in.

Speaker 1:

The books are about books are so much better. Yeah, they explain. You know what's cool, though. So here's the thing. So everybody always says they read the books first, right, and then they watch the movie and I think they came out before the movies.

Speaker 4:

The books did, yeah and I enjoy.

Speaker 1:

I enjoy the fact that I got to watch the movies first and read the books. The reason is they miss so much stuff in the movies and there's so much important stuff. That's what I heard. Like something crazy like Sirius Black. He's not that important in the movies. He is such a pivotal role I don't know anything about it.

Speaker 2:

I heard that the books are very detailed.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, but he's not that big though like it starts off as it, but you you kind of like learn that he's not that important.

Speaker 1:

But in the group but he was so important and like the way they portray harry and the way he's just a different, different kid in the books, it's unbelievable. Dumbledore's a different person in the books, completely like he's barely around, you know he's not in voldemort, he's pretty much, he's actually pretty much the same he's just a whack job, yeah but there's so much more like I feel, like I'm watching behind the scenes now, like I'm watching, I'm watching, I'm reading, learning like I'm learning more but what's cool is I get to see the characters, that of the movie, so I already have it repainted in my head.

Speaker 1:

You, know.

Speaker 4:

So it's like good bad.

Speaker 1:

So in my mind they did good on most of the characters, some people like Lupin and some of the other ones like I'm a little like eh meh.

Speaker 2:

I don't read that. Sounds like that would be the way to watch it.

Speaker 1:

It was really cool to experience it.

Speaker 4:

They probably have a Game of Thrones book. Oh, they do. It's very more detailed, they do. They do try to get out of it, though.

Speaker 2:

I hate books. I can't Really.

Speaker 4:

Audible, even e-books. You do e-books, bro. I know you do e-books. I personally like hardcover.

Speaker 1:

Let someone read to you.

Speaker 2:

My attention span. I can't.

Speaker 1:

No, but so you can't. So here's my thing, because you know ADHD, you know what background music though, yeah, but.

Speaker 2:

I do that now You're over it. Now I'm over music, I'm just over music.

Speaker 1:

I don't really listen anymore. There's nothing good anymore.

Speaker 2:

I barely even listen to rap stuff, but that's what I'm expanded out like I'm done.

Speaker 4:

I'm toast. Yeah, it's still my go-to but like. I'm toast like I'm using, so it's not what it used to be but it's still

Speaker 1:

just kind of now. It's really. Yeah, it is really like Morgan Wallen, yeah, I just got in the. Chris Stapleton. I'm still a Luke Combs fan.

Speaker 3:

He's still my favorite Ever since he came out.

Speaker 1:

You heard his new album? No, I didn't See.

Speaker 2:

that's when I feel like you can relate to a little more that one. I relate to the first one very well, I think you can relate to the new one.

Speaker 1:

Well, that's going to have to be on a YouTube music binge. What's the one guy that made the song?

Speaker 4:

um, is it eric church or something. Eric church, yeah, yeah, that is him. What song, what song spring soon, oh yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, of course, yeah he's been.

Speaker 3:

He's been around for a while, that's right um, so yeah.

Speaker 1:

So harry potter, I'm into that. So the other one that I wanted to talk about is it's these. It's it's a 33 book series, 33 books. I got through 6 already this year, which I'm hyped that I got that far in and it's called the Haunting Danielle series.

Speaker 4:

It's like a paranormal thing like a mystery kind of yes and no.

Speaker 1:

So the first one's called the ghost of Marlowe house. Next one's called the ghost that wasn't there. Next one's the ghost. It's all about ghosts, right and long story short. This girl moves into her aunt's house after she passes away. The aunt never lived there, blah, blah, blah. And she goes there. The house is like pristine, the housekeeper's still there like cleaning it up and stuff. Wait, is that a spoiler alert? Um, I mean, I guess, I, I guess. So spoiler alert, spoiler alert, I guess. So. I mean, it's probably on the back of the book cover, but you know, so long story short is, she ends up seeing a ghost and it's the ghost of Marlo. The guy that you know is the. I just stepped on a cookie, by the way.

Speaker 3:

What Chocolate chip? No, it looks like a Nilla wafer or something like that.

Speaker 1:

I don't know Damn, I don't know Damn kids. So yeah, she moves into this house and she runs into a guy and it turns out he's a ghost and she knows she can see ghosts and she knew he was there and stuff like that. Nobody else can see him and they become like friendly and stuff like that and then like there's other murders that go on all around and missing bodies, and they show up to her and like oh, how can you talk to us? And only she can talk to them and like newest one, somebody else can now like a new guest in her.

Speaker 1:

She opens up like a B&B and a guest ends up seeing the ghost too, and so they get into it, and then it's like Halloween. There's a ghost that only comes for six weeks during Halloween, and the last book I said was like Christmas. So it's like it picks right back up next one's valentine's day, the next one I gotta do is valentine's day, so like it just keeps going into her life. So it's pretty cool because they have really good character building and stuff like that. So so I wanted to ask back to the harry potter.

Speaker 4:

Oh yeah, please. What was the? So how many are there? In total? Are there eight? Seven books, eight movies? I know there's eight okay, there's okay.

Speaker 1:

Oh, because definitely hallows is all one, they chop in half, that's probably the longest one, I'm assuming. I'm assuming I didn't get there yet. What's your favorite one that you've read so far? So what's?

Speaker 4:

cool is what I've noticed now. Oh and yeah, part two Were the name of the movies the same as the book.

Speaker 1:

Yes, oh, they are yeah so right now I really like the Half the book. Yes, oh, they are, yeah, yeah, so right now I really like the half-blood prince, and what I've noticed is, as the books get darker, they don't play them as much on tv and I didn't realize that oh when you sit down and start thinking these things because it's disney, right?

Speaker 2:

no, no, it's universal oh, that's what I meant. Yeah, I'm sorry, but the but the about.

Speaker 1:

Like your abc and like your freeform and fx, they don't play as often the the last two books I've noticed like the more I think about it. Like I don't remember the half-blood prince that well, I don't remember the last three movies, essentially you know why because they don't play them that much, because the first three, four are very light so they on repeat a lot on tv where the darker ones, towards the end, they don't play as much.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, like you can watch them obviously on your own, but I'm just saying like on the tv itself, like they're not playing them as often. So it's very interesting that I don't remember like I can before I read the books. Even I can tell you almost word for word the first, like three, four movies, you know, but like the more I got it, like the more they developed into darker and, like you know, voldemort came back and all that fun stuff. No, I'm not doing a spoiler alert for that one because if you don't watch Harry.

Speaker 2:

Potter bro, you got other issues. You're under a rug, or?

Speaker 1:

um, but it's just it, just, it just seems to be completely different.

Speaker 4:

So I mean john, I'm telling you, you might actually I know I wouldn't. No, because I was. I never thought I would like it either, like ever, like I always thought it was like the nerdiest, like movie series. It's actually really I still think, but then, once I started watching and I was like oh, my god, I didn't know what I was missing out on.

Speaker 1:

By the way, they have like an open world Pokemon Go type game, apparently Harry Potter yeah.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that's cool.

Speaker 1:

I didn't play it yet because someone told me if you download it, you're going to play it nonstop. So I haven't done it yet you should do it.

Speaker 4:

So now, when you bring up, you don't know, like I remember.

Speaker 1:

Bits and pieces you know, but I don't even remember what the movie was about. Now that you dude that's what I'm saying. It's kind of crazy, but tell me you can't remember.

Speaker 4:

I remember the last two, though, but tell me you can't remember like the build up towards yeah, and I guess maybe it's a little more fresh because it's like newer.

Speaker 1:

But like also, I thought those are one of the best movies they were good, but so far the Half-Blood Prince is like my favorite book out of them, because there's just so much more detail in the book that that's like the book. The book starts off completely different, like it's just the way they do with the prime ministers and stuff like that. It's completely different. I mean, I don't know. I can't tell you which one's the best. Yet I'm going to finish them, I'll let you know.

Speaker 4:

And how long are the pages? Usually I, and how long are the pages usually.

Speaker 1:

I have no idea, I don't know 2000?

Speaker 4:

Sure.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, I really don't know. I don't know, Everyone's different. Some are long, some are longer.

Speaker 4:

All right, what was the first one? Do you remember? What do you mean, like? How long was the first one? No, I'll let you know later. I got to look back into books, pick up a book.

Speaker 1:

Anyway, books are amazing and find your outlet Because, even though reading is not for you, you can do Audible, which I am doing, and I am flying through books and I'm loving it and it's a whole other take on books and it's really calming and it's fantastic. So anybody out there, reading is not your thing. Books are great. Try the ebook route. There's so many out there and, dude, let somebody read to you and nowadays they have. You know you would like, sean, some of the books on um, on audible. They're audible originals. They don't they narrate the books now and what they do is they skip over like, oh, the door creaked and they'll actually have sound effects now so it's

Speaker 2:

like a movie-ish reading to you so it'd be sounds, yeah, sound effects yeah, and narrating, so it's.

Speaker 1:

That's really interesting. So they're going. They're going far with books. I forget what's called like audio adapter or something like that, I don't remember, but it's really good. But that's interesting because it gives you different things, like you hear the water moving and stuff like that. You hear like doors creaking floors. You know cool stuff. All right, let's get off of books because Sean's falling asleep, so let's get into it. Let's get into it, boys, because I mean let's jump into the weekend bets. Let's get into that, let's do it.

Speaker 3:

Okay, because.

Speaker 1:

I don't know if I want to get into the greatness in sports labels yet, because that's going to be like an hour-long show I feel like that should be like this how long are we in right now? We're a half hour in already. Oh, wow, really yeah, we only want to do a half hour for our first show, just to get an intro.

Speaker 4:

What's going on and then we're gonna crack off some big ones.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we're just flying right now but yeah, we could do part one, part two, we could do whatever we want, true? Ah, all right, weekend bets sean. What do you got coming up?

Speaker 2:

I got the mets beating the nationals.

Speaker 1:

I think july 1st oh, you mean those Red hot Yankee killing Mets? Yeah, got it.

Speaker 4:

Got it.

Speaker 1:

Got it. The kings of the subway. Yeah, what did they put up 20 runs against them In two games In the two games yeah, 12, 12 and 8. Savages.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

It wasn't for Aaron Judge, they would really be blowouts. Well, yesterday it wasn't blowouts 11 to 10.

Speaker 2:

We need Aaron, Judge no 12-2.

Speaker 1:

12-2? Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

And then 8 to get first game.

Speaker 1:

The.

Speaker 2:

Yankees. The Yankees better be scared man.

Speaker 3:

They better be scared.

Speaker 1:

Those are two best pitchers, alright.

Speaker 4:

Okay, garrett Cole just came back. First of all, dude, he should be well-rested. I mean yeah but let them get back into the rhythm, talk shit about the.

Speaker 1:

Mets bro, they're at 500. Talk shit. Just saying Somehow.

Speaker 2:

Yankees better be scared, dude, they just got exposed.

Speaker 1:

I guess, like, let's be real, I wouldn't say they got exposed.

Speaker 4:

I don't know man.

Speaker 2:

They lit them up. Bro, Just swing Just swing, bro.

Speaker 4:

They're pitching dude, oh, you know what's crazy, though, I feel like when Gary Cole came back, it just looked completely different, because before that he hasn't played all season. True, and their backup pitchers were doing good. True, with a great record.

Speaker 2:

I mean not great.

Speaker 1:

They got a really good team going. They should be every year.

Speaker 4:

Dude Juan Soto's the difference, though I feel like.

Speaker 1:

Dude. He's going to look so good to Mets jersey next year. Oh my God, I can't wait. The Yankees aren't going to let him go. They're going to have to because Steve Cohen's coming.

Speaker 3:

He's not going to All, right wait.

Speaker 1:

Real fast. The other thing I have to mention, because this is the coolest thing million catch the bat boy that caught a line drive foul ball with his bare hands, directed right at Shohei Otani's face, essentially and he caught it. Shohei's like ducking and getting out of the way and this kid didn't even flinch. He just caught the ball with his bare hands and Otani's just like dude, thank you. I don't know if he's even speaking, oh, like I don't know if you even speak in english, like I don't know. I don't know how much he actually knows that nowadays, like I know he's been trying to learn. But, dude, what would you give that kid if you're, if you're the dodgers, if you're not otani, if you're the dodgers organization? And this kid just caught a dude beeline like it was gonna take otani's head off like at least at least 100 grand like yeah, like or like 100 grand.

Speaker 4:

I I don't know one because that catch was sick and two he just saved your franchise flinch dude that's like otani gives him like something like autographed and he's like yeah here you go.

Speaker 1:

I mean, I though it would have to be the whole team. Well, no, because that kid probably has otani jersey he might have already.

Speaker 4:

That's what I'm saying, like, that'd be like.

Speaker 1:

So I feel like it would be I don't know like yo, I would just be like yo here's, here's, here's a hundred grand.

Speaker 2:

Here's a hundred grand, no here's a hundred.

Speaker 1:

You know what I would do seriously if was them. If he doesn't have the autographs, I'd hook him up with that, like obviously, obviously, that's easy, you should have that, that's free, he should. He's a bad boy, but I would throw like 200K into a freaking college fund for this kid Like yo schooling's on us bro, or just make him a freaking lifetime. Ball boy boy dude pay him well, just pay him well. That would be the sickest job ever. We'll give you 50k up until you're 18 we turn 18, we give you 75k.

Speaker 2:

That's the sickest job ever you're just because you got with the players watching the games I don't, I don't need to get paid yeah, I know, that's what I'm saying put me any team, I don't even care, but they do get paid right. I really don't know they have to. I don't know they do a lot of work, but he's awesome. Respectfully, when I saw the headline pop up and then there's a video.

Speaker 2:

I'm like I gotta watch this no way me and kyle were together. No way he didn't play like d1 ball or somewhere or something. Dude, he's young, I think he's young.

Speaker 1:

I don't think he's that old yeah, he didn't look, right he has to be playing. I'm just saying the best catch in sports if that doesn't make sports centers top, top 10 or 5, whatever the numbers.

Speaker 3:

They do now.

Speaker 1:

I don't know if they still do it or not.

Speaker 4:

No, they definitely do. I really hope that If SVP is still on ESPN, I'm not a Dodgers fan by any means.

Speaker 1:

But I'm just saying for that kid to do that and have him be Otani. On the other side of that ball, the recipient, Otani, is ducking like.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's the one player.

Speaker 1:

Like a bomb is coming his way. He's like hitting the floor, bro, like batting helmet on, like covering up, like and this kid doesn't even flinch, he just catches it bro like wow, terrible, balling, love him oh, tony thought he got hit.

Speaker 4:

We gotta get that kid on the show.

Speaker 1:

I had to put that in there because that kid just like what. What an awesome dude. All right, you haven't watched it, go watch that. So, sean, you have Mets money line over Nationals on July 1.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, july 1st.

Speaker 1:

Yep Kyle should be easy. You have June 29th Yankees money line over the Blue Jays.

Speaker 4:

Yep Saturday.

Speaker 1:

I am going with June 30, 30th, which is sunday. The liberty over the dream. Listen. I watched my first wmba basketball game. Who was it? It was fever. No, it was chicago. Stop talking. Okay, it was the liberty. Yeah, verse los angeles. I can't think. Sparks, sparks sparks, thank you. What a game. First of all, watching brianna stewart and um what's her Sue Bird.

Speaker 2:

Sue Bird no no.

Speaker 1:

And Sabrina. I don't know how to say her last name. I'm not going to lie.

Speaker 3:

They are like fantastic to watch, yeah.

Speaker 1:

She was like the one Kobe Bryant got along with and stuff like that but. Dude, it was really fun to watch like we had people over I. Just I was hooked on this game. I'm like this is a lot of fun the liberty liberty one, yeah, that's why you're a liberty fan. I'm not a liberty fan, but it's new york like. If I can, you know, I want to try to find some teams close to me.

Speaker 2:

All right, all my teams are so far away, dude, let's go to.

Speaker 4:

Devil. Games this year Dude let's go Actually, yeah, that was a joke.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, tell me about it, kyle.

Speaker 2:

Thanks, guys, the Fever have. What's her name? Kaitlyn Clark. Kaitlyn Clark, biggest name in WNBA, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but I'm telling you, the hype around WNBA is real. I get it.

Speaker 2:

Dude. It's crazy to me how Kaitlyn Clark's not on the US.

Speaker 1:

No, it's not. Yes and no. No, it's not, she's a rookie.

Speaker 2:

For the publicity aspect.

Speaker 4:

That's why you need her on, but that's the argument.

Speaker 1:

Are you going for the gold or are you going for publicity?

Speaker 2:

Bro, you have four players on that team that don't touch the court.

Speaker 4:

You just need her on for the publicity aspect To promote women's basketball in general, but that's like Bronny James coming into the league and saying after one season he's not on the team USA.

Speaker 2:

What Wait?

Speaker 1:

what? No, it's different. Bronny is not the face of the NBA.

Speaker 4:

I'm sorry but the WNBA huge deal but the publicity and him coming into the league and all this.

Speaker 1:

The publicity is only big for him right now because he has lebron, but he happened to go to his team and he's just lebron's.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, whatever team he went to.

Speaker 1:

It would have been publicity he only played one year in college. It doesn't have the health scare, the nba doesn't need publicity.

Speaker 2:

The wmba is only getting like what eight thousand getting?

Speaker 4:

worse and worse. Yeah, no, it's not. No, it's getting better. I'm saying they're getting worse and worse.

Speaker 1:

No, it's not. No, it's getting better.

Speaker 4:

No, I'm saying they were getting worse and worse.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, this new group of women are just like dominating the sports, breaking records.

Speaker 2:

I'm saying they keep growing.

Speaker 1:

I know what you're saying, that's the main goal, but that's what people's argument is you have players on every team that don't even touch the court, every game.

Speaker 2:

But that's what I'm saying, that's my argument to that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but that's the argument is which one do you go for? I know, but she is good enough to actually play too, though that's the other difference.

Speaker 4:

Steph Curry of the WNBA. Yeah, brianna Stewart is actually very good she's very good. Yeah, Angel Reese is too yeah, it used to be Breonna Stewart versus Sue Bird Did you stop with.

Speaker 2:

Sue Bird. She's the best. She's the Kobe Bryant of no. Why is everybody the Kobe Bryant? You just said it twice. No, she was the oh did.

Speaker 1:

I oh no, you said Steph Curry, no, she was the assist leader.

Speaker 4:

She wasn't the Kobe Bryant. Yeah, I'm not going to know that NBA, but on the rise.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and I understand why and it was a lot of fun. The court looks amazing Fun colors, fun graffiti all over the court and stuff like that. The jerseys are nice bright, fun colors, like it's something to look at. These girls are getting heated. They're chest bumping Like it's like. Yeah, like get it. Like it's just, it's like watching the men and watching with my daughter.

Speaker 4:

She was into it yeah, she was into it. Yeah, candace marker used to be good though. Yeah, candace parker well, they used to be her versus uh stewart in the finals, like two years in a row, uh, like 10 years ago. Well, it's very interesting, I'm 10 years ago, I'm very, I'm very excited, like I'm.

Speaker 1:

I'm on the hype train with everybody. Yeah, that's all I'm saying. Um, so I'm taking the liberty over the dream. June 30th, lock it in. Oh wait, I have a button for lock it in, guys why, doesn't anybody here? Tell me oh, it's locking up. Lock it up. Lock on my pick, and then you make money. We'll get more buttons do that we're gonna get more guys I'm tailing that, so I'm better hit.

Speaker 4:

Well, no, we do have the new one. Right, which one Spoiler?

Speaker 1:

alert yeah, yeah, I got spoiler alert.

Speaker 4:

That's only one.

Speaker 1:

Don't worry about spoiler alert At least we got one right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

All right. So next week we're going to be shooting every Thursday.

Speaker 2:

I'm hoping to get them if not, we're gonna drop it on friday morning because editing is fun. Making sure kyle's he still does that. Oh, I don't think I really.

Speaker 3:

He got better he got better, he developed in season two, I think I did that you're going.

Speaker 1:

I just had, like the boys are growing up.

Speaker 2:

Oh, by the way, it was just body cam is the name of the game oh, body cam.

Speaker 4:

A lot of first person game actually yeah oh, I've heard of that yeah, it's the most realistic it's on PC.

Speaker 1:

Only PC Steam. Yeah, Wait, what about Valorant? I believe so.

Speaker 2:

Dude, I might play Valorant on Xbox now.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, but you said the trial of it is that sucks Well they're still working out Kinks. Is Counter-Strike on console.

Speaker 2:

It's been for a while, but it's not nearly as good.

Speaker 4:

I need a PC man. You do need a.

Speaker 1:

PC man.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, I have a gaming laptop Same, thing, you just hook up a monitor to it.

Speaker 3:

Swerve Because there's not going to be a game where you need a high graphics card.

Speaker 1:

Yeah if you're not doing competitive, there's no reason to go crazy, guys yeah.

Speaker 1:

All right next week. So homework, boys. We need to get into all these shows house of dragons, fallout tires, the bear, uh, the boys, the acolyte, there's so much stuff. Let's all catch up on the newest episodes. There's going to be lots of spoiler alert. Spoiler alert next, next week on that. We'll catch everybody up with our little next next week on that. We're gonna catch everybody up with our little uh mini reviews on that. We're gonna get into the greatness label in sports because we keep fighting about this, uh, generational and goat and washed up and, you know, rinsed rinsed.

Speaker 1:

Sean's newest yeah, we're gonna try to get a word to stick into the general public. Um all four dishwash is a good one, add dish to that, or you could say soaked, Like you know they're soaking them Like stain remover.

Speaker 3:

Stain remover Quick wash Stain stick.

Speaker 2:

What is it? Tide to go. He's tide to go, bro.

Speaker 1:

He's on his way out, tide stick.

Speaker 2:

No, it's either rinsed, I like the most. Rinsed isn't bad, I like dishwash.

Speaker 4:

We'll get into that. People are like what are they?

Speaker 1:

talking about. We'll get into what we're talking about, because we're idiots, but we can't stop fighting about it. What else we have the NHL just wrapped up? We'll get into that a little bit, I know.

Speaker 2:

We're going to talk about it.

Speaker 1:

Next episode is probably going to be mostly sports yeah, just warning everybody, we're going to start with the tv, though, because we got a lot of tv to get into.

Speaker 2:

We got a lot of tv um we did video games, yeah, but my meaning of wash was just your guys rinsed yes, again, I don't know what rinse means.

Speaker 4:

Well, making it up kyle, so your guy your guys washed is your, rent is my.

Speaker 1:

No, you're thinking it backwards Other way around.

Speaker 2:

So when you guys think washed, I think garbage, like done.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, like washed up.

Speaker 3:

That's what you guys think it is. You're done.

Speaker 1:

You're washed up. That's not what my thing for washed is.

Speaker 2:

Washed is you're not as good as you. Once was like washing a shirt five times.

Speaker 1:

But the argument was if you drop like five spots from the greatest, you only drop five spots.

Speaker 2:

They're not washed If you're not at your peak, you're washed.

Speaker 1:

Alright, we're not arguing, that's what I'm saying that's a little sneak peek into next week. We can't control ourselves. Alright, appreciate everybody.

Speaker 2:

Episode one Episode one Season two.

Speaker 4:
