A Year of Not Trying To.... Capsize

When I look back at my worst relationships and my behavior, I realize I resent my ex lovers, friends, and co-workers because I gave them the most valuable part of me: my creativity. When I am in love with someone, I offer the one thing my parents never challenged me on, even my toxic dad: my ability to create. I was always artistic, even if neither believed I could be an artist. My uniqueness was undeniable, but my father´s evil, consistently believed a woman’s best was only to serve and comfort a man’s worst. Hence, if I was the best creative, it was only to make art that allowed him to cope with his addiction.
