Speaker 1:

well, I don't have my fancy muffler, so hopefully the audio is not popping too hard today. I'll try to keep it a little bit better by holding it at a different angle. But yeah, so I got invited to speak at a monthly meetup group. I've been an acquaintance of them for a while. I haven't engaged a whole lot in a while, but like two months ago they had a Q&A like hey, what is it like to buy a business, or how to meet a broker, how do you get a loan and all that stuff, and so I had chimed in and we did a one hour resume. It was good. And then at the end, um, one of the hosts asked if I would be up for giving like a small 15, 20 minute talk on the subject. So yeah, absolutely, that'd be great.

Speaker 1:

There's, there's a lot that goes into it and you know I'll try to keep it tight and kind of put the friend yesterday and he wanted to get really detailed, he wanted to get really granular, so we spent about an hour 15 minutes going over my particular studio, some of the things I've learned, some of the things I can recall. This whole thing has been going on for like six months now, so there's a lot of things I just don't remember. Um, I don't remember the first week, the first day, and um, and it's funny because he's like, oh yeah, I just listened to episode like five. I'm like, oh, I don't remember what I did, episode five. So it's just kind of funny, um, that for some people the audio is brand new and for me, like I don't, I don't remember the. That's the point of a diary is you don't remember everything. I could put it down in a moment and that's and that's good enough.

Speaker 1:

But you know, uh got confirmation today from the host for this group. I should say, yes, she's fine If I promote the podcast. Yes, she's fine If I promote the paid course, which I am stoked about. I'm going to monetize a little bit of this and hopefully make a couple dollars and literally it'll probably will be a few dollars. It's not going to be a whole lot, it's going to be like a hundred dollars or less. Well, uh, I'm not anticipating or I'm gonna act like there's gonna be a big payday, but I'm not gonna expect there to be a huge payday because I don't want that commission breath to be coming out.

Speaker 1:

So my goal over the next few days is have a stellar end of week because we're on some tight deadlines for my day job, so that's first and foremost my priority. Uh, tomorrow I'll have the catch-up with my manager and then we have our test forgot. We have our test in the Saturday for all the folks doing the new challenge and then I need to start crafting some content for that learning course thing that I've committed myself to Not my own, but this is the one that I've partnered up with an attorney on, because I know there's some really good stuff there, and so I'll be sharing that paid content or paid learnings next week. I'll be sharing that paid content or paid learnings next week and I need to have some crafted and drafted and sketched out content that I can zoom loom record for the learning courses. So, yeah, I'm in a funny phase right now. I'm one foot in the present, one foot in the the building, entrepreneurial side of things, and um, been working until 11 o'clock every night for the past like two weeks, and right now it's 10 40, so my brain is just like tapped out, it's, it's wrapping up. So I have my little paper book, my blue pen, my red pen. Blue pen talks about the stuff that I need to do tomorrow, the like two items for tomorrow that go to red, and those are things that have to happen no matter what tomorrow, and then just go from there. I'm stoked though I think there's there's some potential monetization on the horizon for some of this stuff and still enjoying the day job. I won't be able to do both forever, but for now I'm going to do both forever because I enjoy both. I need both and both need me. So that's where we're at. That's where we're going.

Speaker 1:

Let's keep publishing podcast episodes. Apologize if the audio turns out really poorly on this one. I'm trying to do better and I've learned from my mistakes. I'm like 68 podcast episodes published. I've had one user's comment to me like audio's bad, audio's cracking. This is terrible audio on YouTube. I'm like sorry, like I recorded that five and a half months ago. Hopefully my AI bot thing fixes up these episodes a lot better. So, and you know you do the best you can, but, uh, just not giving up. Not giving up on the gym, not giving up on the entrepreneurial dream, not giving up on the day job, not giving up on the fam, because right now I'm um, I want to be more present, and even if that means working a 12 hourhour day, not a 14-hour day. I need to do that more. All that good stuff. So have a good night. Let's keep the dreams alive, both the present dreams that are a reality, that I've dreamed about in the years past, the present dreams and the future dreams. Keeping them all alive, let's rock and roll.
