Developing the Heart of Jesus through Obedience to the Great Commission, Part 3!

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE EPISODE:
Most Christians have heard we are to fulfill the Great Commission. But have you ever wondered what the Great Commission is and why it is essential to God's redemptive plan? This podcast episode, part three of a four-part live teaching I conducted at a New England women's conference, will teach us how to be ambassadors of Christ's Good News. We will be encouraged to tell and show people God's redemptive plan. The foundational scripture for today's episode is Matthew 28:19—"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Episode three begins with Jesus' ministry to His disciples when their boat is caught in a storm, as recorded in Matthew 14:22-27.

PART 3 Key Points: Obeying the Great Commission Develops God's Character in Our Lives.

• Give the unsaved and spiritually backslidden a chance to hear the gospel and repent.
• We should not simply tell people about God; we should show them God through our actions.
• The Great Commission is a command.
