Welcome back to Practical Manifesting for Busy Women, a podcast designed for women who have a lot going on but want to be conscious creators rather than reactors to life. So what is a conscious creator? What does that even mean? Right now, I'm going through a lot in my life. I really am going through a difficult change. I've moved and I'm going through a separation, because I understand that life is constantly going to bring change.

Speaker 1:

If you want to create a life filled with light, you're not here to sit in bed and eat bonbons. We all have stuff. So I was talking to a friend today and I said I feel like every single time I think I'm completely healed. The universe will always show me a part of the pot that still needs scrubbing. I don't know if you've ever had to had a pot with a bunch of stuff stuck to the bottom and then you soak it and you get it all out and you think it's all clean and there you know there's this one little other part of the pot that you have to scrub. And she said Ooh, that's a terrible way to see it. Why don't you see it, as you're just always going to have another mountain?

Speaker 1:

I always say that really manifesting and conscious creating is a process of healing healing your mind, because, according to A Course in Miracles, all healing is done on the level of the mind. A Course in Miracles calls it level confusion. When we look at physical things and we think that they are the reason that control us. If we look at our body and think it can get sick. If we look at our boss and think he is the person that pays us. If we look at our body and think it can get sick, if we look at our boss and think he is the person that pays us, if we look at things outside of ourselves and think they are the reason our life is impacted in any way, that's being a conscious creator, recognizing that you are the source of all that comes to you. Although you are the source of all that comes to you does not mean that you are source. You are a co-creator with the power that moves mountains, and in order to correctly co-create you have to connect to that power. We don't get to just think it and then it comes true. We have to think it, align with it, believe in it, expect it and let it go, and then just naturally become it. And when we become it, it becomes true. So manifesting is a way of healing your mind to align with your power, and your power is always going to tell you that you're safe, you're loving, you're kind, you're enough, you're creative. But you've come here today, to this planet, at this time, to express the version of that that resonates to the best version of you. There is a highest version of all of us, and I do believe that we can be the highest version of ourselves.

Speaker 1:

Unfortunately, it requires us doing a few things. First place, we have to be reflective. We don't get an option of not looking at ourselves. So I'm going through this change in my relationship and I'm really looking at my part. Where was I being unkind? Where was I being self-centered? Where was I being being not loving? Where was I having an expectation of someone that I wasn't clear about? And then I also had to look at the role of the other person. What were they really doing?

Speaker 1:

And one of the nice things about a separation if you're going through a separation is it gives you an opportunity to look at it from a more neutral place. If you're driving your car on the road and you're trying to figure out which way to turn, it is so much easier to have a bird's eye view, and so what this separation has done is it's created an opportunity for us both to have a bird's eye view about what is right, what we want, what our rules are and what we want to create going forward. But that doesn't mean there isn't an emotional peace when you are going through a hard time and you feel emotional. It doesn't mean that you're supposed to ignore your emotions and rise above them. If you did not have inner guidance, you would not have emotions. Your emotions are the way for you to connect to the source within you that has your next right turn. All manifesting is is an approach to guiding your life in step-by-step directions from your inner guidance, that is, your emotional self that will help you know your next best right turn. And you do that by moving in the direction of relief, but not pretending relief, because the ego, the ego mind. According to A Course in Miracles, the ego mind will always give you tools of its own. Those tools seem to give you relief.

Speaker 1:

I had a conversation with a friend of mine and he said but food for me is happiness. And I said no, the ego mind is telling you food is happiness because it wants you to look at the one minute while you're eating and and it's telling you oh, look, how happy you are. But truly it's the not being able to climb steps without huffing and puffing. It's needing to keep your house so cold because once it gets a little warm you're sweating. It is heart disease, it is weight on your joints that feels bad. There's a lot of different ways that you could look at food. When you're overeating, of course, I mean food in balance is perfectly okay, but overeating is not happiness.

Speaker 1:

Manifesting is a way of using your emotions to guide you and working through them in a way that keeps you on the path to your next right step. I was reading an article and there was a man who wrote that he was very upset with all the spiritualists out there. He was calling a snake oil salesman that we have a solution to trauma that really just pours pink paint over everything and it doesn't really deal with the problems. There's so many different solutions to healing, but on some level you are being guided. We all need to connect to our inner self and it is through the connection to our inner self that we connect to the power within, and that power within is of us. But it is not us, it's in us and all of us, and the way we connect to it is by following our inner guidance, which is our emotional self. Without our emotional self, we would have no inner guidance. Your emotions are your guides.

Speaker 1:

So if you're going through something really sad and it feels terrible, it's okay, because what's actually going on is that inner guidance is doesn't agree with you, that there's a more powerful way to see it, and your job as a manifester, as a conscious creator, is to find that way of seeing it. And that is a miracle. A miracle is a shift in perception. It felt bad and then you found a more powerful way to see it. So I'm seeing this time as an opportunity for me to get a bird's eye view about what I really want to create. And if you're going through something that feels really hard, if you can say to yourself the universe is giving me an opportunity to change the way I think, and your job is to find that more powerful thought, to simply find a more powerful thought.

Speaker 1:

We all go through trauma in life, and I'm not saying that trauma isn't hard, and I'm not saying that there's not times in our lives where we have to figure out ways to deal with that trauma in medical situations or medical doctors. But I'm also saying don't discount your inner guidance. Your inner guidance is your connection to your spiritual power and that spiritual power is your way out. And the way to do it is to start is just to simply notice the way you feel and when you're feeling less than happy, when you're feeling less than content, even say to yourself I'm feeling less than content. So it's actually not highest truth, because highest truth will always lead me to content. So that means that I'm thinking something that is not ultimately true.

Speaker 1:

So what's a better way to see it? And remember another thing about manifesting is you're not doing it on your own. You're not supposed to do it on your own. You are co-creating with the power that moves mountains, and the way you connect to that power is through a tool. But you can ask for help from your friends. You can ask the universe to send you help, and it will, because the universe is a powerful force. So ask for help, but remember this there's always a more powerful way to see it, and that more powerful way to see it is your step forward in healing. So that's my two cents today. I hope, whatever you're going through, that you can find a more powerful way to see it.
