Stanford Professor Dan Ho joins the Denver Law Review Podcast to discuss evaluating the accuracy of facial recognition technology. His recent White Paper for the Denver Law Review Symposium and the Standford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence is a first-of-its-kind report on the evaluation standards for facial recognition technology. Please join us as we discuss how greater algorithm transparency and testing must be essential elements of future efforts to regulate the use of facial recognition technology by private companies and law enforcement.Professor Ho is the William Benjamin Scott and Luna M. Scott Professor of Law, Professor of Political Science, and Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research at Stanford University. He also serves as an Associate Director of the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence or Stanford HAI, and is the Director of the Regulation, Evaluation, and Governance Lab (RegLab).  He received his J.D. from Yale Law School and Ph.D. from Harvard University and clerked for Judge Stephen F.
