Pain and chronic pain can wreak havoc on our lives.  It often limits our ability to have the quality of life we deserve.  Watch as Dr. Jackie Nix-Gardner, pain expert, speaks about pain, wellbeing, mindfulness, resilience, and living through difficult times.  

Dr. Jackie Gardner-Nix, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Dept of Anaesthesiology at the University of Toronto and a physician mindfulness facilitator.  She developed the trauma-informed and trauma-sensitive Mindfulness-Based Chronic Pain Management (MBCPM) for those dealing with chronic pain.  She co-authored the book “The Mindfulness Solution to Pain”.  She is also founding member and chair of the newly established non-profit, Mindfulness Council of Canada.
