Sooooo, I asked out a guy this week. Not just any guy. A guy I’ve been crushing on for a whileeeee. Asking guys out isn’t that big of a deal in my opinion, it’s more what comes after that generally gets me regretting I did it in the first place. Typically, once a new guy comes around and the possibility of something romantic happening opens up, my brain starts coming up with stories. I start fantasizing about said person, alot.
This episode is basically a sequel to the episodes “Boys are not a hobby” and “Genuine Intentions”, so if you want more context, you should definitely listen to those first.
But in short, I have a bad history of fantasizing, especially about guys I will probably never date.
It drives me crazy how one week I’m fantasizing like crazy and the next week I come back to myself. I want to discuss why these fantasies happen and why they take over my brain SO easily.
