In the last episode, we covered the life that we're called to live as believers. Now, we're covering how to maintain that, which is through love, self-discipline, and power.
We start with the importance of accountability in all walks of life, focusing specifically on holding our brothers and sisters in Christ accountable with a firm but gentle spirit of truth. With this, we cover the difficulties we can face when trying to hold ourselves and others accountable, and how to overcome these.
This cannot be stressed enough. We are all representations of every group we are a part of, including our faith (our community/Church) and the image outsiders have of God. We spoke last episode about speaking and acting with wisdom and humility so that people will see God and believers as righteous and good people, who are truthful. But so many believers speak or act foolishly, including ourselves. It is up to us to hold each other and ourselves accountable to maintain a proper image!
