When the law tees off against one of golf's finest, Scotty Scheffler, my jaw hits the floor. Join me, Joe, as I unravel the drama behind Scheffler's surprising arrest before a major tournament and its potential impact on his career. But that's just the beginning – we're also dissecting the heart-pounding finale of the Premier League season, where Arsenal's victory dance was cut short by Manchester City's triumph, and I'll even toss in a couple of personal curveballs, including a hilarious tech glitch and my new cat, Stuart Little, who's already a pro at stealing the spotlight.

Baseball aficionados, you're up to bat as I swing into the financial fiasco gripping the MLB. Taking a hard look at the Yankees, I'm weighing in on their recent games and the daunting road ahead with matchups against the Angels and Giants. I'm putting my money on Luis Gill to shine in the pitching rotation and calling out Clark Schmidt's shaky performances. And, because I can't help myself, I'll go head-to-head with the Yankees' payroll tactics, especially with the tantalizing prospect of signing a powerhouse like Juan Soto on the horizon.

Wrapping up with a tackle that even the NFL would admire, this episode calls out the media's frenzy over Kansas City Chiefs' Harrison Butker's controversial commencement speech and the far-fetched rumors dogging Cam Hayward's OTA absence. I'm in Andy Reid's corner, championing freedom of speech, while taking the clickbait-hungry sports journalism to the woodshed. Fasten your seatbelts for an episode that's not just a home run, but a grand slam of candid sports commentary that will leave you cheering for more.

Speaker 1:

Good morning everybody. Thank you for tuning in to another episode of Joe's Wild Pitch. I'm your host, joe. I'm currently recording this episode on May 26th, so it's actually the night before the podcast goes live. I'm a little late recording today only because, well, this morning I recorded the episode and then discovered that my microphone was muted. I recorded the episode and then discovered that my microphone was muted and we have a new addition to the Joe's Wild Pitch family. His name is Stuart Little. He's a cat. He's adorable. So if you guys hear some meows in the background, it's Stewie. He's saying hello.

Speaker 1:

So a lot has happened in the past week since we last talked. I'm not even really going to say a lot, but two really really major controversial things happened over this past week and I want to talk about those. I want to talk about the Yankees. I want to talk about one of the major drama pieces is in the NFL. We're going to touch on the NFL a little bit later, but first and foremost, I don't watch golf. Golf is not my thing, I'd rather watch paint dry, if I'm going to be completely honest with you.

Speaker 1:

But at the same time, this guy, scotty Scheffler, if you guys don't know, he was arrested last weekend, like right before. I believe it was the PGA Championship. Don't quote me on that, but I think that's what it was. I think that was the tournament that was last weekend, for those of you that don't know. He supposedly wasn't listening to. A cop was resisting, he dragged a cop 10 yards but the cop turned his camera off. So there was no like record of what happened, and the first footage that came out was from a dude on ESPN, and even in that footage you don't see anything.

Speaker 1:

But then this week new footage was released and this new footage shows the cop literally walking up to the window, shoving his face in Scheffler's window of a car that's literally marked as a courtesy car. I mean, you could see it clear as day in the new footage that was released. And all of a sudden two more cops show up. Now they rip scheffler out of the car, they pin him against it, they put him in cuffs and they arrest him, and then the video, the video cuts off. You don't see any more from there. Why? Why is this man still a cop? First of all, he turned. He turned his camera off. Or are we serious right now? That's a thing like they're, they're allowed. I mean, I know, obviously, that they're not allowed to do that, right? I mean, you're supposed to keep the camera on anytime something like this happens. So you have evidence as to what was going on and you have proof that what you say happened happened. But scotty, scheffler, of all people, they're going to say he was giving this cop a hard time and and chose to to drive off and drag him 10 yards, which is a lie. By the way, you don't even see that happening in the in the footage.

Speaker 1:

Um, you know, they say that this guy, scheffler, is supposed to be like the nicest man on the on the tour, him and his caddy. They do bible studies all the time and he's really good with the community, really good with the church, he's really active. So I just, I don't, i't see it. This guy is supposed to be like the quote unquote Mr Goody, two shoes of the PGA and yet he's causing trouble with the police. Yeah, I don't, I don't buy it. You know, how about the fact that this, this officer that arrested him and literally like manhandled him on this car? How about the fact that he's been disciplined five separate times for misconduct? Why? Why is disciplined five separate times for misconduct. Why is the guy still an officer? The first time you give him a slap on the wrist, okay. The second time I'm like dude, are you kidding me? And then he does it a third time. I'm like you know what man you're out of here? Get out, you don't deserve to be part of this department. It's insane. It's insane.

Speaker 1:

But then Scheffler ends up coming out and, from what I was told, he shot pretty well that day. I guess, like the rest of the tournament, he really didn't do so well, but I know there was a tournament going on this weekend and I guess he shot pretty well for that I could pull up. He finished in second, I believe. Yeah, I have it pulled up right here. He finished in second in the Charles Schwab Challenge. He's the ranked number one overall golfer in the PGA Tour.

Speaker 1:

So I don't, I don't get it. I don't know. It's a we're. We're so quick to to. Oh, there's Stewie. You guys could probably hear him meowing. Um, it's crazy though. You know, it's like we're. We're so quick to, we have, we have these good guys come up right and we're so quick to try and and shoot them down. Now. Now, as you guys know, as per the last podcast last week. Um, last weekend was the final weekend of the english premier league and, uh, my boys, the gunners, even though we won, we didn't win the league. Manchester city also won and I'm gonna be honest with you, when west ham scored to bring it to one, I literally thought West Ham was going to come back and at least pull out a point against City. But Manchester City is Manchester City. They always finish the league strong.

Speaker 1:

To me, I mean, this season was a good season. I'm very disappointed that we didn't win any trophies. I mean, we won the Community Shield in the beginning of the year. But does anybody care about the Community Shield? No, not really. I think Mikko Arteta he definitely is bringing the team to a good direction, right, I mean, he's brought us back to actually competing for the Premier League title. We had a rough go in the Champions League. I mean, we made it to the quarterfinals and we were eliminated by Bayern Munich. But it was nice to be back after missing Champions League football for so long. It was definitely really good. But you know, I really can't help but feel like, if we don't win a Premier League title next season or we don't win a Champions League next season.

Speaker 1:

I really do think that we have to assess our manager. I really do, you know, I mean we've given plenty of time now and he's he's bought plenty of the players he's wanted. Hopefully he brings in the, the striker that that we need. You know this this, uh, this year, and he can, he can really make a challenge, he can make a push for things. But when we first hired him, I will you know, I'll be completely honest with you guys I was not the biggest fan of mikaela arteta. I mean it's really to go from Arsene Wenger to a new manager. Right, we had, uh, unai Emery and I mean we just we didn't give Unai any time at all, we gave him like a season and then we like let him go halfway through the next season, brought in Mikel Arteta.

Speaker 1:

But you know, I mean honestly, he, he has done a good job. He's gotten rid of a lot of the uh, the dead weight that that was out there and brought in a lot of players that really want to play for the badge and actually care. And you and you could tell you know you can, you can tell that the players care and they're building a wonderful relationship with the fan base again, which is super, super important for any club sport, right. But I just we need, we need to see progress. We need to see trophies. Right. It's great that you're building the relationship with the fans. It's great that you're bringing us back to the fans. It's great that you're bringing us back to the Champions League. It's great that we've now had our second season in a row. We finished second place in the league.

Speaker 1:

But we need to win the league Now. Granted, this year. Honestly, we should have. We should have won the league this year. Right, we lost 1-0 to Villa when we shouldn't have. We had no right losing that game at all. That should have been like a 3-1, 4-1 victory. We had a lot of really dumb drop points earlier in the season. That way, you know, when you want to win the Premier League title, you can't afford to drop dumb points.

Speaker 1:

And look at Manchester City this year. In Manchester City this year, they were nothing spectacular. They were nothing spectacular at all, but they finished strong. You know they. They always seem to start off a little rocky and then, right after Christmas is when they go on like that 17, 18 match unbeaten streak and it's just game over from there. You know which? I mean I don't know it's. It's not like they're unbeatable, because they are, you know, I mean literally we won, we went against Villa, we wouldn't, we wouldn't the premier league League. But you know, no point harping on the past, it's over. There's always next year.

Speaker 1:

Now I, I read, I read a lot of articles throughout the week and I'm gonna tell you right now I read one article this week that genuinely made my blood boil. But before we do that, before we get into that, right, let's, let's look at the Yankees. We're going to look at the ALE standings. The Yankees lost today to the Padres 5-2, but you know what? They beat them up pretty hard the rest of the series. For the next coming games, they play the Angels, then the Giants they're kind of on their West Coast tour right now and then they come home, they play the Twins, the Dodgers, and then they're away at the Royals and the Red Sox, and then they come home to play the Orioles. Now, those are some pretty tough games. I think the Angels they should be able to pretty convincingly beat the Angels and the Giants. The Twins should be no problem.

Speaker 1:

I think the Dodgers here, the Dodgers are really going to show the Yankees kind of where they stand in comparison, right. So the Yankees right now are sitting at 37 and 18. They're 7 and 3 in their last 10 games with a .673 winning percentage. Pretty good, pretty good. You got the Orioles in second place, though. Right them two games behind, 33 wins, 18 losses. They're six and four in their last 10 games with a winning percentage of 0.647. So I mean the AL East, besides the Orioles, there's really no, no team to really worry about, which is a shame because I mean the AL East used to be such a powerhouse, you know, really did. You used to be such a

Speaker 1:

powerhouse. Now you look at the National League, right, and the Phillies, who are arguably the best team in baseball right now, they're sitting at 38-16. They're 7-3 for their last 10 games with a .704 winning percentage. Now we're going to look at the Dodgers real quick here, right Over there in the NL West. Now we're going to look at the Dodgers real quick here, right over there in the NL West. They're 33-22, 4-6 in their last 10 games with a .600 winning percentage. So just to keep it into perspective here, the Atlanta Braves are also 30-20. They're also 4-6 with their last 10. And they're six games behind the Phillies and the NL East and they have a 0.600 winning percentage. It's crazy, man, it's crazy, honestly. I'm looking at a lot of these standings right here and I

Speaker 1:

mean it really. Besides the Phillies, the Dodgers, the Yankees, the Orioles, I mean well, actually, the Guardians are a pretty good record this year too. They're sitting at 36 and 17. They're nine and one for their last 10 games with a 0.679 winning percentage. So that's pretty good, better than the Yankees, right up there with the, with the Phillies, significantly better than the Dodgers and the Braves. But you know, there, just there really is no team this year that you're kind of like wow, you know, and I even said that last week right, I mean, there really is

Speaker 1:

just no powerhouse. I'm going to tell you every day of the week that the Yankees are going to win the World Series, but once again, where's Garrett Cole? Man, I was reading articles. They're saying last weekend, when they played the White Sox, he was supposed to take the mound. Never did, was looking forward to him all week long. This week he's not here, which I mean is inevitable. He will come back

Speaker 1:

at some point. Who do we drop out of the starting rotation? You know? I mean, I have a feeling that Boone's going to drop Lewis Gill. And let me tell you something Lewis Gill, in my opinion, has earned his right as a starter for the Yankees. The kid's been on fire so far this year. He's got one bad game to his name, but every pitcher is going to have

Speaker 1:

a bad game. You know what I'm saying To me. You got to drop Clark Schmidt, right? I mean, clark Schmidt is arguably one of the worst pitchers in baseball. Why the man's even a Yankee, I don't know, but I guess desperate times call for desperate measures. But to me he's the one that has to go. I mean, surely he is the one that has to go. We got to drop him, get rid of him. I don't even want to see him. We don't even put him in the bullpen, all right, let him go sit in the stands with the fans. Now. Speaking of the Yankees, right Now, like I said, I read an article earlier this week that really, really genuinely made

Speaker 1:

my blood boil. As we know, juan Soto is going to be a free agent next year. Right, he's a one-year rental for the New York Yankees this year. Juan Soto has been offered five contract extensions throughout his career and he's declined every single one of them. The New York Yankees have the chance to be the one team that offers him a contract extension and he accepts. And guess what? According to the wonderful owner, al Steinbrenner, the payroll. He can't sustain the payroll. We can't keep paying the players like we're normally supposed to pay them. Is this man serious right now? Did he forget that he owns the New York Yankees? You know that the New York Yankees are the second most wealthiest franchise in the world. Wealthiest franchise in the world. They're worth 7.1 billion and we, we can't afford to

Speaker 1:

pay our players. Dude, yankee stadium is literally sold out every night. People go there. They pay the 20 fora hot dog, they pay their 30 for a beer. Those prices might be exaggerated, by the way, but I mean. You know it's expensive. Going to baseball games in general is expensive now, but going to yankee stadium especially. Forget about it if I take a mortgage out to go to a baseball game now. Could you? Could you imagine if george steinbrenner was still alive and he heard his son say those words? We can't

Speaker 1:

sustain our payroll. You know, you look at the yankees in the 2000s. You know the late 90s, early 2000s, when they were so dominant, obviously, yes, they had the core that they brought up through their own farm system. But Steinbrenner was smart right, keep, keep the core. I mean I'm gonna go out, I'm gonna splash the cash on every single position that my core doesn't have and we're gonna pay him. As long as they perform well,

Speaker 1:

we'll pay him. This kid, how it's like. All he cares about is he wants you to fill the stadium, he wants you to buy the shirts and the popcorn and the souvenir hats and all this other kind of crap, but he doesn't want to spend the money on the team, you know? And look, we give that really big contract to Giancarlo Stanton. That was a mistake. Never should have happened. But you know what? You take a risk on a home run hitter like him and you hope it works out. And I mean, overall, stanton really hasn't been like terrible. He's just injury prone. Aaron Judge we give Aaron Judge that big contract. Well, he's the face of the New York Yankees, right? So, yeah, okay, you deserve to

Speaker 1:

pay for him. And Lord knows, garrett Cole is probably one of the best starting pitchers out there in this league, right? I mean, there's that guy on the Phillies. He's pretty good. His name escapes me right now. You look at the starters out there for the Dodgers. They're all, they're

Speaker 1:

all pretty solid. But I, just to hear the owner of the New York Yankees say that they can't afford to pay their players anymore and that the contracts have to come down in price, genuinely blows my mind. Now and the thing is too right is now, is he trying to play hardball with Juan Soto, right? Is he trying to trick Juan Soto into taking less money than he's worth? Because let me tell you something, if he tries doing that, juan Soto is just going to leave, he's going to go to the Mets, he'll go somewhere else where they're just going to splash the cash for, and then he'll win them a World Series and he'll rub it in Steinbrenner's face. I just, I don't, I don't, I don't get it. You know, I really,

Speaker 1:

really, really don't. Now the man literally comes out and says he wants to be a New York Yankee, he wants to pitch for the Yankees. Now, granted, the contract that he was asking was close to Garrett Cole numbers. You can't really pay him Garrett Cole money, because Garrett Cole's been on your team now for a little bit and he's your ace pitcher. But you can give him like close. You know, the guy just won the NL Cy Young Award last year. Granted, this year his performance has been a little lackluster. I know he's hurt. He's battling an injury right now. So maybe, yeah, okay, we lucked out there. But who's to say that would have happened when, when, if he, if he joined the yankees right, but we don't know, we have no idea. But then, at the same time, if we signed blake snell, maybe this guy, lewis gill, never would have been brought up right and we never would have discovered the new diamond that we have.

Speaker 1:

There's, definitely there's. There's plenty of things that are going on right now and honestly, I just I'm not, I'm not a fan of it. I really don't like how the yankees are being ran. This, this kid, he's got to wake up. He's got to wake up. You know you have the guy from the mets, cohen, who literally comes out and says I'm gonna spend as much money as humanly possible. You got the dodgers, who have the biggest bankroll in baseball, who just throw money out at

Speaker 1:

anybody and everybody. You know we're the New York Yankees, we have the second biggest checkbook in all of baseball and you're going to say we can't afford to pay our players. I don't get it. I think that's a blatant lie and I think it's disrespectful to us fans. Right? We're the ones that are there. We pay your ticket prices year in and year out. We blatant lie and I think it's disrespectful to us fans. Right, we're the ones that are there. We pay your ticket prices year in and year out. We fill that stadium year in and year out. Even when the Yankees sucked last year, yankee Stadium was sold out. Because that's how loyal we are as fans. We pay your hot dog prices, we pay your beer prices, we buy your shirts, we buy the jerseys, we buy the hats, we buy all kinds of souvenirs and memorabilia to help

Speaker 1:

support the team. And then you have the audacity to tell us, fans, you can't afford to pay the players. No way, don't believe it. Where's the money going? How? Where's the money going? It, just, it, just. It upsets me so much. You know it

Speaker 1:

really, really does. And it's like. This is how it's been now for the past couple of years. Right, it's ever since the old man passed away. It's like. This is how it's been now for the past couple of years. Right, it's ever since the old man passed away. It's like the yankees have lost that swagger. They've lost their aura because this kid, for whatever reason, did not pay attention to how daddy ran a baseball team. It's disgusting, it's stupid, it's ridiculous. But I don't know, my blood pressure literally feels like it's through the roof right now and I just, I don't know, I don't get it, I don't. You know,

Speaker 1:

I don't know. It's hard being an Yankee fan is hard because you want your team to do well. We're expected to win the World Series every year and we haven't won a World Series since 2009 because this kid doesn't want to run a baseball team to save his life. But whatever, um, I was, I was watching some, some ESPN highlights today of the Phillies, now the Phillies. The Phillies lost to the Rockies today five to two. They even lost the first game to the Rockies three to two, but they won. They won yesterday eight to four. Now I'm going to tell you, man, the Phillies, they're good, they're good. I think you know as much as I want the Yankees to win the World Series, they might have to be my World Series pick. They really might be,

Speaker 1:

I don't know. Now, nothing says Happy Memorial Day which Happy Memorial, by the way, to all of you guys than controversy, and the NFL produced controversy this past week. Harrison Bucker he's a kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs. For those of you guys that don't know, he made a commencement speech where he basically said that the men are supposed to be the breadwinners, women are supposed to be home, take care of the kids, you know, and be the care holder at home. A lot of people did not like that. A lot of people are asking for the Kansas City Chiefs to release him. However, the Chiefs aren't doing that right. The Chiefs have common sense and they're not falling

Speaker 1:

to cancel culture. Thank God the owner's wife has come out and supported him. Patrick Mahomes, travis Kelsey came out and supported him. Andy Reid came out and supported him. Patrick Mahomes, travis Kelsey came out and supported him. Andy Reid came out and supported him. And you know what? Andy Reid's response personally was

Speaker 1:

my absolute favorite. So it was in the middle of a press conference and they said to Reid what do you think about what he said? And Andy Reid said you know, the best part about living in America is you're free to say whatever you want to say. You're allowed to have whatever opinion that you want. You know he goes. I let you guys in this room, week in, week out, and I don't agree with your opinions, but I still treat you like you're human beings. I don't ask for you to lose your job because you said something that I don't like. We're all allowed to have different opinions. We're allowed to have different beliefs, and they say honestly all of his teammates right, mahomes has come out and said it, kelsey has come out and said it, and even Reed said it

Speaker 1:

in this interview. But this guy, harrison, is a really, really top act, you know. Look, he grew up a Catholic, he has very strong Catholic values and there's nothing wrong with that. He came out in a commencement speech and said it no, are we going to be okay? Is everything going to be all right? I mean, it's like we're so anti-religion and God now, and I really, really I don't want to make this like a political statement, so I'm going to try and make this short, but it's like anytime somebody comes out like this, right, unless if it's CJ Stroud you're allowed to disagree with the man, it's okay, but to call for this man's job

Speaker 1:

is absolutely outrageous. This kid is 28 years old, you know. It's all right. He's allowed to believe in what he wants to believe in. The Kansas City Chiefs absolutely love him. They say he's a top class guy. He treats everybody phenomenally. Isn't that what you would want in a teammate? Isn't that what you want to be around in your locker room? Get over it, if it really honestly, if it pissed you off that much about what he said. You need a life. You need other things to worry about than a commencement speech that was made at a school that A I don't even think anybody's ever heard of before, but B he was just expressing his values and there's nothing wrong with that. And what Reid said is right Welcome to America. You're allowed. You have freedom of speech. You're allowed to have a different opinion than other people. It's okay, it's allowed. We encourage it. Man, I don't know, people just need lives, and you know what another crazy thing is too. No, people just need lives, and you know what another crazy

Speaker 1:

thing is too. So like in the middle of the week last week well, actually this week rather I was reading reports. Cam Hayward is sitting out of voluntary OTAs doesn't tell the Pittsburgh Steelers he's not showing up, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And immediately the day after the report comes out, Cam Hayward goes on his podcast and goes don't you dare try and run my name into the ground. Of course I told the Steelers I wasn't going to voluntary OTAs. Why would I? You know what? I don't even blame him for not going. The guy's been in the league for 13 years. He wants to skip a voluntary OTA. Go ahead, go ahead. He's been part of the Steelers his entire career. I'm not worried about him. You know, if Russell Wilson and Justin Fields decide to say, yeah, you know what, I'm not going, all right, I would say no, no, we have a problem there. That's not okay, that's not acceptable. Because they're new, we just got them. Hayward knows the system, hayward knows what's up. Hayward does not need to go to a voluntary ota. And then the best part is right. As I'm scrolling through my twitter feed last night and this guy puts up this tweet saying about how, um, hayward, hayward's sitting out so he gets a new contract and he wants a clause in his contract and if he signs the contract, his brother's automatically gonna get

Speaker 1:

a contract extension. Are reporters really like that desperate now that they come out with this crap? Do they think anybody's really going to believe that, especially of Cam Hayward, of all people who they say is one of the most respected people in all of Pittsburgh. Come on, man, these reporters need to get lives. They really, really do, truly wholeheartedly. It's insane. It is absolutely insane. Just, I

Speaker 1:

don't get it. I don't know, you know this has been such a weird week in sports. It really really has. Excuse me, you probably heard that I'm sorry, but you know, it's just, I don't know. You know, I don't know what's going on with the media nowadays, but everybody's like grasping at straws. Everybody was just, it's clickbait, right? Everybody wants these headlines, so people click on their stuff and they get the numbers and it's just, it's sad,

Speaker 1:

it's really sad. But now you know, I know we talked about the Steelers' schedule last week, right, and I said the Steelers schedule last week, right, and I said the Steelers were going to get 11 wins, and I still stand by that. But you know, I looking, I keep looking at their schedule and you know I don't think I've ever seen this before in the 29 years Well, the soon to be 29 years that I have been watching the NFL. If you look at the last eight weeks of the Steelers schedule, we have all six conference games in those eight weeks. The only two non-conference games are the Eagles away and the Chiefs home. On Christmas Day. You want to talk about a bloodbath? I

Speaker 1:

mean that's insane. Who looked at that schedule and went, yep, that's a great idea. I mean, what? What Is this? What, no man, I this, what no man, I don't know, I don't know I. I mean, you know it's funny, like I, literally, after watching the NFL last year, I told myself you know what? I'm not gonna care about results anymore. I'll watch it because I mean it's fun to watch, but I'm not gonna care if my team wins, loses or whatever, because the script's already written. And you know I still do. I firmly do

Speaker 1:

stand by that. I really do think now, especially after watching the nfl last year, that the nfl was rigged. I do think that the script is being written and and all of that, but that's, that's another rant for a different day. But, um, you know, I can't help but still be invested. I still can't help but like be upset and be like dude, why aren't? I want to know. I would love to sit down with the guy that made our schedule and said, yeah, no, this is going to be a good idea, this is a great idea for the Pittsburgh Steelers. We easily have I don't know one of, if not, the hardest schedule in the NFL this year, but now let's just make the last eight weeks of the season an absolute bloodbath.

Speaker 1:

I don't know. I see a lot of these talking heads on ESPN and the NFL Network and on the radio and on different podcasts and all this. They're all saying that the Steelers, like they said last year, they're not going to have a winning record, they're not going to make the playoffs. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I think the Steelers are going to shock you this year. I really do. But truthfully, I think the team that really really is going to shock the NFL this year is the Houston Texans. I think the Houston Texans are going to be a very big sleeper team this year. They brought in Stephon Diggs right, which is huge. They already had a pretty good wide receiving crew. They have a pretty good run game. Their defense was really solid last year. Now adding him is just kind of going to be like the cherry on top right. I really do think that the Houston Texans are going to be not the team to beat, but they're going to be a force to be reckoned

Speaker 1:

with for sure. Now, it was brought to my attention that, as I said to you guys in the intro of last week's podcast, that we have fan mail. Right On the top, right before the description of the podcast, is the fan mail link. You click on that. Well, as it turns out, apparently the fan mail only works if you're on a mobile device, because you send a legitimate text message to BuzzFeed and BuzzFeed gives me the messages. Now, no fan mail was submitted this week, so had nothing to shout out. We have no subscribers yet. But you know, I'm not in this for the subscribers. I'm in this because this is fun and I enjoy doing it, but I don't have it set up for this week. However, for next week there will be right below the fan mail link, there's going to be an email address so that for those of you that are on the computer, or even if you're on your mobile device and you don't feel comfortable texting a weird number, I wouldn't even blame you. We'll get that all set up. You could submit your fan mail that way. I think that'll be a lot better and

Speaker 1:

easier as well. Also, on the bottom, there is the option to support the podcast with a subscription. Right now it's $3, $4, $8, and $10. If you guys do choose to subscribe for any of those amounts, it'd be greatly, greatly appreciated. All support goes directly to me and the podcast so we can upgrade some equipment and maybe put some stuff up on the wall so there's a little bit less of an echo and all that kind of stuff. But any and all support, even just by you guys downloading this, this podcast, right. So looking at the numbers right now, last week's podcast has 22 downloads. I did not expect last week's podcast to have 22 downloads. So thank you guys. All so much Of the 22 of you that download the podcast Are listening right now. I greatly, greatly appreciate you guys. Thank you so much. But with that and on that wild pitch, the runner from third scores and that's game over. I hope you guys all have a phenomenal Memorial Day, have fun, be safe. God bless all of you and until next week I'll catch you later.
