I stumbled upon this phrase a while back: "Once you get there, will you be happy?”

It's been nagging at me lately because, let's be real, chasing dreams is freaking hard.

I don't know about you, but lately, I've been feeling like a tightrope walker without a net. Ever been there?

That place where your heart's pounding with excitement but your brain's whispering, "Are you sure about this?”

This whole journey of chasing dreams, it's not for the faint of heart.

It's messy, it's unpredictable, and let's be honest, it can make you question every single decision you've ever made.

I mean, just the other day, I found myself staring at a half-eaten bag of chocolate chip cookies at 3 a.m., wondering if this whole "follow your passion" thing was a giant cosmic joke.

My sleep schedule is a disaster, my stress levels are through the roof, and I'm pretty sure I've developed an unhealthy attachment to caffeine.

And it got me thinking... why do we do this to ourselves?

Why do we willingly step off the edge of the familiar and into the unknown?

Well, I think it's because deep down, we know that real growth, real transformation, happens outside of our comfort zones, RIGHT?

It's in those moments when we're terrified and exhilarated, when we're learning and failing and learning some more, that we truly come alive.

Think about it. Every amazing thing you've ever accomplished, every hurdle you've overcome, every skill you've mastered – it all started with a decision to step outside of that cozy little bubble we call comfort.

But let me tell you, it's not easy.

There will be setbacks, there will be doubts, there will be days when you want to throw in the towel and crawl back into bed. But that's okay. It's all part of the process.

So what if, instead of fearing those uncomfortable moments, we embraced them?

What if we saw them as opportunities for growth, for learning, for becoming the most authentic versions of ourselves?

What if, instead of asking, "Will I be happy once I get there?", we asked, "Will I be proud of myself for having the courage to EVEN try?”

Because at the end of the day, my friends, happiness isn't a destination. WE ALWAYS HEAR THAT. It’s a journey. It's the messy, beautiful, exhilarating journey of stepping outside of our comfort zones, of chasing our dreams with wild abandon, and of discovering that we are capable of so much more than we ever imagined.

So I challenge you to embrace the discomfort. Take that leap of faith, start that project, ask that person out, learn that new skill. Whatever it is that scares you, go for it!

And if you need a little extra support, a virtual high-five, or just someone to remind you that you're not alone in this crazy adventure we call life, I'm here for you.
