How I Manifested $32,500 and a Trip Around the World, as an 18-Year-Old
Ep 2: At age 18, I was bored to tears and going to university to step into a future that had never been mine. I was on autopilot, following in my parent's footsteps, to become a scientist, even though I wasn't really interested in science.
Then, a newspaper article appeared on our family kitchen table, about a ship sailing around the world for an 18-month adventure like no other.
In a flash, my life shifted as I stepped aboard the ship convinced that I would be a part of the crew that would travel to places I'd only ever read about in books and seen on T.V.—Galapagos, Pitcairn Island, Marquesas, Tahiti, Rarotonga, Fiji, Tuamotus, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Bali, Seychelles. Zanzibar, Tanzania, South Africa, St. Helena—and so many more.
I had crystal clear focus that I would go—my soul felt it—but there was no immediate evidence that I would be able to go.
In this podcast, we explore the significance of focusing on what you want without getting caught up in the specifics of how to get there.
