Speaker 1:

Would you look at what we got going on in Hard Rock? Folks Praise to you, man. You is tradition, you is family, you is brotherhood, you is hard work. I'm hurt, dog, don't ask me if I'm alright.

Speaker 2:

Hell, nah, what he said down there and we not doing it. I'm with my heart. This f***ing time, let's go man.

Speaker 1:

Xavier Restrepo with the Miami touchdown. And it is touchdown. Andre Johnson was all by himself.

Speaker 2:

That's going to be returned by Sean Taylor for a Miami touchdown.

Speaker 1:

We're talking about practice, not a game, not a game, not a game. We we talking about practice, not a game. Not a game, not a game. We talking about practice.

Speaker 2:

We want to execute better. We want to play winning football. To play winning football, we've got to practice winning football.

Speaker 1:

Big time players step up a big game how everybody doing. Tonight. It's Category 6 Sports Podcast. Your host, big Homie, and I'm here with your co-host 50. The man I really need to introduce how you feeling today, 50?. How you feeling man.

Speaker 2:

Man, I'm good man, I'm happy to be here. Shout out to all the Storm Chasers man, oh, and students of the game Lito.

Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, shout out to students of the game man For real, for real, 50. 50, 50. Bow your head, bow your head, 50. Just bow your head, 50. Bow your head, 50. You had me on the dolo mission yesterday to hold it down. Welcome back, 50. Welcome you on back. I had to bow your head, man. I had to bow your head, man. I'm like what? 50 had something to do yesterday, ain't no problem, love that you're back with me, but 50, we got to get straight into it. Yeah, that practice. What do people want to hear? Yeah, cam Ward, orange, midtop Cleats, like he was in the 80s man, the boy out there looking like Ryan DeCunningham man, we got us one. We got us one 50.

Speaker 1:

We got us one. I pray for times like this to be a fan like this. 50. We got us one. We got us one that we're taking out 50. Listen to me, man, we don't got no worries. 50. I promise you at that QB position. But you know, I like to clap it up for my freshman, jordan Lyles. Oh, my God, when the pass came on, he rode to the occasion today. He didn't enroll early, ladies and gentlemen, he came as soon as the summer, when he was able to, because you know he in a private school, right Out there running that rock, but, lord and behold, hellcat is right behind him. I'm telling you, I think we got the one. Quote me on this, hey, 50, quote me on this. What's up? Clint Portis, willis McGahee, I'm giving them that much praise.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

My nigga.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm giving them that much praise 50. I'm giving them that much praise. They got vision Run between them. They just Mario running backs, more explosive. Just Mario running backs. What explosive. Just Mario running backs what he want to do, run right behind that line. Make that one cut with that vision, that acceleration, the explosion 50. I'm telling you, man, I'm telling you.

Speaker 2:

But they already behind some Gs. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

I heard. That's fine, that's fine. And guess what? They're going to learn a lot from them Gs. And if they be patient, hit the weight room mode, get in the system, because they already look good. I'm telling you, they already look good, martinez. Now that you said they behind some Gs Martinez, he was out there with a purpose today too. I think without a run game like this 50, the pass is going to be so open. The offense looked very, very good today. Looked very, very good, consistent. I know Shannon Dawson was crying yesterday and I just looked. I'm like Shannon, relax, everything's going to be all right. Just before the game, we put the ball on the ground.

Speaker 2:

Hey, I said, shannon, I'm looking at it, I'm reading the ground.

Speaker 1:

Hey, I said Shannon, I'm looking at it, I'm reading the article. I'm like what is this? I don't know if it was a clickbait article or what. I'm just looking. I said what's? That you're tripping about. Yeah, slow your roll, coach.

Speaker 1:

And then you come back out there and look good, yeah, you know, Brown, Horton and Rescrutable Scalding, uh Prattness today, that's not a surprise. You know, I think Brown coming over. I wasn't very high on Brown when he first came over 50, man, I'm telling you, this guy, these kids be having other plans. Man, I thought for sure, um, you know, maybe he'll work his way in, but he being dominant, but Horton being dominant. You know, we was missing that X receiver last year. Now you got two X receivers battling it out, Both explosive, Both. What 6'2" long arms. Good route runners Can get vertical. Kevin Beard already told you from day one we going vertical.

Speaker 2:

We going vertical.

Speaker 1:

You already know what Reshz Folk can do. You can't double team nobody. Then you got the tight ends coming. Man 50, man, listen man. The tight ends had another great album, I'm telling you. We got three tight ends. Three tight ends, lord knows how many running backs, five receiver. Oh, let me clap it up my fault, I know. Ray Ray Looking good again today.

Speaker 2:

Loose on well. Smiling Loose on well smiling.

Speaker 1:

You say what Loose on, well, smiling, yeah. Yeah, he's smiling from ear to ear. Man, he really putting on for Miami Edison. Ray Ray looking good man, come on on. Can you imagine ray ray getting the getting the same targets as riscrepo, or just running the same routes and him just turning around running, taking nothing away from riscrepo, because we already know he first team all ac, but can you imagine ray ray getting the ball in that little tight space and he, oh my God.

Speaker 1:

50. Man, what like man? It keep going on and on, but I'm going to have to do this. 50. I got to get constructive criticism. Talk to me, emory Williams today. Uh-oh, holding that ball too long. Uh-oh, he has to get the ball out sooner. He cannot hold the ball long. He's thinking too much and he has to start doing that and go to the Florida games. 50. He has to start doing that because I'm going to tell you what. Anything can happen. 50. This is football. I don't like to talk about injuries ever, but this is football. If it's his time to step up and he come in the game, he must excel, like he did Clemson game. But he cannot do what he did against Florida State game. He played. I think he did the best he could do. He threw a few touchdowns, didn't turn the ball over, but it's going to be a time in the game that he's going to have to get over that hump. He cannot, we're definitely going to need more.

Speaker 1:

You said what Dad.

Speaker 2:

I said we definitely need more than that. You know what I'm saying. Like, like, I give him the pass because he was a freshman three star and all that and he wasn't really ready. He wasn't even supposed to be playing that year. But you know, injuries happened, but now you need to improve, buddy, you know what I'm saying yeah, because it's always.

Speaker 1:

It's always something called the greyhound, it's always something called the greyhound 50. You can sit here and you can't dwell off. Last year you got to leave. Your accomplishment Everybody got to forget about last year. If you did something good last year, congratulations, thumbs up. But he was holding that rock a little too long today and I just want to say this let's go right back to the secondary Right OJ from St Thomas. Yeah, man, I don't know.

Speaker 2:

Man listen, who is this guy? He playing?

Speaker 1:

out his body. Man None to lose Chip on his shoulder. Three-star.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

But he got an interception in practice today and he's been looking good since day one. He ready to compete 50. He ready to compete. He ain't stepping down. He can't hit with a purpose. He one of them people that oh nobody ain't believe in me, but I believe in myself. I'm gonna prove you wrong. That's the type of players you need and that's the type of players we get. Another person too man 50. This is my second time talking about it. I just said yesterday that I don't know if Jason Taylor put that belt off on his son, but oh Baby Taylor.

Speaker 1:

Man, listen, 50. Baby Taylor man, 50. Listen man, man, listen man. Yeah, fumble Force Popo, scoop it up in school. Man man, listen man, yeah, fumble force Popo, scoop it up and score. Man, yeah, I'm telling you, taylor, you got to think that safety, we ain't got the most depth, ain't nobody got a real solidified second screen? You know he could get a shot. 50. I'm telling you, laying that lumber, yeah, go through the hole. Plenty of opportunity for him.

Speaker 1:

Hey, 50. He make a bitch by his head, that bitch out there. I don't know what's going on, I don't know what daddy told him, but hey, man, I'm loving what I'm seeing. Hey, you know, markeith Harris meets Powell. You know they're going to be the first guys in the safety room, but you know, things happen, man, check this out. We don't even got to talk about injuries, because I hate talking about injuries. Yeah, it's a bang-bang game. All it takes for a player to get a helmet to helmet out for the game, right, that's all it takes. A helmet to helmet out for the game Right, that's all it takes. A helmet to helmet out for the game, right. And with that being said, I'm loving what I'm seeing in Taylor. I'm loving what I'm seeing in OJ Homie.

Speaker 2:

Who's that? From Polk County himself.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I didn't forget about Campbell at all. Campbell, man Campbell. Look like he ready to start when he get in the game. Listen man, he going to raise nothing.

Speaker 2:

That's all I've been hearing. He a hell raiser. That's all I've been hearing.

Speaker 1:

Man. Listen, I'm just going to let I'm going to say his name, I think every episode since we started talking about practice, I'm going to just let y'all see the guy. The kid is what? 6'6", 6'7", yeah, batting balls down. Like, come on, man, like I'm loving what I'm seeing 50. I'm loving what I'm seeing. And you got to also give a shout-out to Lightfoot Pickett Scott. That was very physical today in the second half of the practice. Them guys, them all are true freshmen. And this is what happens when you recruit. Ladies and gentlemen, it's 204 people here. I want you to like, share and subscribe. Yo, like, share and subscribe, because I'm going to tell you this one thing that these 200-plus people need to hear when you recruit a certain way like Mario says it looks a certain way. Like Mario says it looks a certain way, right, like, come on, man, you getting a first. Your first team is getting a good look from a true freshman straight out of high school. Like, when the last time have we done that?

Speaker 2:

I can't even think of it off the top of my head, man, you can't think of it.

Speaker 1:

It's not on the top of your head, it's probably not in your head 50. I'm trying to tell you like this, the way we practicing, the way we moving as a unit. I'm letting you know, where you're at 50. Like man, come on, man, I'm starting to get goosebumps.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I'm starting to get goosebumps, man. You know, see, man, they got my bald head swing. Man, these kids, they got me, man, I may be going out my body in the stands. Man, come on, man. Other than that, you had the second team O-line today, a little rusty, a little busty, jumping all sides.

Speaker 1:

Can't have that because, like I say, all it take is, man, listen, all it take is anybody can get it, anything can happen. You can be on the field. We've seen that kind of a little bit in the bowl game when people just, you know, just any time, man, you got to be ready, the second team jumping outside, they got to tighten up, right, we got to go in perfection. Y'all got to get together because, lord forbid, something happened in Florida and then we know it's going to be louder. Now, cam Ward, get in the center and say hut, hut, and you'll be running up the field and everybody will be looking at you like dude, where are you going? We can't have that. We can't have that. We can't have that at all. Yeah, we got to lock in. We can't have that at all. Damn sure, got to lock in, yeah, okay go ahead.

Speaker 2:

I was about to say Ken Ward has been named to the Walter Kemp Player of the Year watch list. How do you feel about that?

Speaker 1:

I feel like it's well-deserved. I feel like he's been growing up from when he was at his first school. Then he was transferred to Washington State. I feel like he kept upgrading. He wanted to go to the league, decided to come to Miami. We see how he moved A good leader, very outspoken, very blunt, ready to compete. It's well-deserved, well-deserved and I think if everything go right he could be holding up that trophy. But you know, we can't live off a nominee. We got to go out there and perform and show it. I think he's the champion.

Speaker 2:

I'm glad you live off a nominee. We got to go out there and perform and show it. I think he just told me that. I'm glad you said that because how I feel, I think the media they got this little thing that they love to do with the youth. You know what I'm saying. They like to build us up and tear us down and for the past years it's been working, but I think this year with Ken Ward, oh, it's a big difference. Oh, we on that for real. Yeah, we on that. You see how my quarterback talking this is what I wanted Cam Ward right here. You know what I'm saying. So, yeah, he's right here talking, can't get to Reuben Bain. You feel what I'm saying? You saw the preface, you know what I'm saying, it's nothing.

Speaker 1:

When you get a quarterback that talk like that and want to compete and don't care who, not scared of nobody, fearless, and ready to lead the team to victory and ready to, you know, somebody messing up, ready to put his foot up their ass, this is the type of guy you need. This is the type of guy we've been missing and this is the type of guy I'm pretty sure everybody in the fan base wants. And we've gotten. Only thing we need to do now is just take it to the field. Everything will work itself out, and I have a business, yeah.

Speaker 2:

So that we ain't no joke.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm loving. I'm loving Cam Ward. So far, so good.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. And another thing, big homie, like slightly off topic, about the Canes, but how you feel about this Michigan madness, like what's going on over in Michigan, oh, man Harbaugh didn't got a championship and ran off on the plug.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's exactly what he did. It looked like he didn't have his spot going around getting people plays. He did his dirt but he said he went to the club but hey, he left out that thing with a bang man. He had Michigan on top. I can't tell you detail for detail, because when it first broke you know they was already in the college ball about to go to the college football. It was the end of the season. I know he set out like what, two or three games. Yeah, then you got the man on the sideline for the playoff game. So I'm looking at it like I'm looking at it like I'm looking at it, like I'm like, okay anyway.

Speaker 1:

So then we're going to the championship. They saw the burn. It looked like it was going to be on the coast. That's there now. I don't know if they're going to get a postseason ban. I don't know what about the. I can tell you this that man put Michigan on top. He really don't care. He's in the NFL, where he want to be with the Los Angeles Chargers, that's basically all I can tell you about that, because it's just going to be some people hurt, I don't know, maybe they'll take the championship.

Speaker 2:

What can they do to them? What can they do to them?

Speaker 1:

That's what I'm trying to figure. I'm like they put in this pitch, there we're talking about this and that and that. I'm like, okay, you wait until three weeks before the season. Two weeks, well, two weeks before.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think Chris Drew and Best Damn Media need to start crying. Just leave them folks alone, man.

Speaker 1:

Hey man, they can cry a river. They can cry a river, a lazy river, and swim and it's over. They beat you at three man. Come on, man, hardball left out on top man, and it was a rocky start, but you see where he at, nah, so that's all I can say about that.

Speaker 2:

Hey, producer man, hey, put my Baylor pitch up, man, what you doing. There we go, there we go, okay.

Speaker 1:

Okay, producers, all right. Now I'm back, though. We pay players. I don't blame Baylor for doing this at all. They ain't been none since, uh, rg3 that I can remember. Um, we play players, okay, and guess what they? That's what. That's my thing about this nil and all this pam. People want to make it seem like, oh, we don't pay nobody. These kids really want to be here, that's fine. But come on, you at baylor, man, that gotta be the motto. Yeah, we play player. Yeah, what are you trying to do, man? That got to be the motto. Yeah, we play player. Yeah, what are you trying to do? Because you got A&M in the state, you already got Texas. Come on, man, you got to fight with Oklahoma anyway, because they going in Texas. Then you got, come on, man, you got Colorado coming to the Bits where. Come on, you know, d ain't going to get some players from Texas. Texas, you got Utah coming. They'll get the stragglers players from Texas that they usually get Central Florida, what's?

Speaker 2:

up. You got Kansas State, Kansas. You got all types of teams.

Speaker 1:

Everybody wants some players from Texas. With that being said, we play players and just put it up front though yeah, we'll pay you and we want you here and this and that you can't knock them for that. A lot of other teams need to start saying that. The other teams don't want to say it because they spent all that money and they lose yeah, they already losing. So they're like all we can do is spend money and get to the top. I think that's an excellent marketing scheme. I do not blame them at all. I don't blame them at all.

Speaker 2:

I'm rocking with it. We pay because, hey, it's legal. Now they acting like it's still taboo.

Speaker 1:

That's what I'm saying. People want to make it seem like, oh, they're coming here because they want to be here. Listen, ladies and gentlemen, coaches, staff members, listen, I'm guaranteeing you, I guarantee 40% of your team probably wouldn't have came to your school if they wasn't getting paid At all, and that's a fact.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, because it's too much going into it. Man, like you got the coaches and the money, like they got to rock with both. So relationships and that money, that's just how it goes. Like money relationships, that's just what it is Like. And paying the players is hey, it's legal. Now you can start crying about it. I don't know what I'm talking about. It doesn't need to be this.

Speaker 1:

Hey man. I shout out to Baylor for having some heart, because they got a battle out there in the Big 12. They getting left behind. A&m gone, texas gone, oklahoma gone.

Speaker 2:

Hey and homie, they have a better recruiting class than Nebraska, south Carolina and Florida. That's crazy.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, go ahead and do your thing. If you want to cut the check, it's working. I just recruit. Imagine when somebody from the portal when they really come on man, their next run in the portal could be crazy. That's what they need. I ain't mad at them at all.

Speaker 2:

And what? And Storm Chasers we got. Yeah, y'all definitely gotta support us because hey friday we're gonna have a coast 30 in the building man, so y'all make sure y'all stay tuned for that. And before we go on commercial break, I got a question for all the storm chasers and you, big homie, go ahead. What's the most painful loss you ever experienced as a college football fan?

Speaker 1:

wait, wait wait.

Speaker 2:

But before you even get to answer that question, hey, producer, play that commercial for me real quick. Play that commercial for me real quick. What's good, chasers? And I need y'all to do me a big favor. Go support our very own lance, leggett at TasteOneBoiledPeanutscom. Yeah, go get you some TasteOneBoiledPeanuts. Yeah, the smoked barbecue flavor yeah, make sure you get that. And you know my saying. You know what I'm saying. We're going to tell the haters to get off our nuts and go get some boiled peanuts. You feel what I'm saying? So, yeah, tasteoneboiledpeanuts. You feel what I'm saying? So, yeah, tasteoneboylepeanutscom, make sure you get you some. That's tasteoneboylepeanutscom. They deliver at your front door for real 50,.

Speaker 1:

you stopped on that commercial. Hey man, I swear every time I hear that I'm gonna laugh, man, but go ahead.

Speaker 2:

So how you feel, like what was the most painful loss for you as a hurricane fan, like like what was the most painful loss for you, you want to bring up the pain man you really want to bring up the pain.

Speaker 1:

Man, don't worry about it. 50, don't worry about it by your head, the most painful loss for me. I had to let him go because he already noticed I got two painful losses and it was just last season. Definitely Georgia Tech. I was at the game, right there in front of this man scoring the game, winning touchdown, taking the lead. I seen Chaney fumble. I seen us not taking need Listen, my feelings still hurt. I let it go. I thought I was going to get over at Louisville game go. I thought I was going to get over it. Louisville game. I thought I was going to get a ranked win. Then we got down to the four yard line and we did not score and we ran the ball all the way down. Mark Fletcher having a career day. It was a lot of pain. Last year, man, I cried. You know how I feel about it. I cried, man, I cried. I cried, yeah, you know. Yeah, you was at that game. I remember, man, you didn't even know what to do. Yeah, tough, tough loss. Definitely Georgia Tech.

Speaker 2:

Hey, you were driving. You forgot where you live for a second man.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, fifth, I'm going to tell you the bad thing about it. I got out messing up. I'm just an old country ball head full loss. He's punching the steering wheel, hey man. But I think they're going to help me get it all out. I'll be okay after this season.

Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. For me it was that man of the year with De'Aaron King, when everything was right there for us, we had the season, all we had to do was beat North Carolina. Oh, and them bitches ran for a thousand yards. It felt like niggas got drafted off. That game, man, oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was like nigga did they even throw a pass that game?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, they went crazy. They went crazy. Yeah, they did On our field, on our field, yeah, they went crazy. Yeah, they did On our field, on our field, yeah, they went crazy. I don't know what happened that day, but Right, it was nasty.

Speaker 2:

Let me see what some of the Chase is saying. I'm seeing from Corey DeBosch he talking about something Virginia 2021.

Speaker 1:

E Doug King said FIU, oh, fiu, oh FIU, oh my God, this would have turned into a pain podcast. What?

Speaker 2:

Train 305 talking about some Ohio State. I wish you was up here so I could bow your head real quick, but that was a painful loss. But I still want to bow your head Like I want to bow your head, train 305. You, I want to bow your head. You feel me. Yeah nah, yeah, that like they're just some painful stuff. Man, yeah, two, what drink? Let me put this up there. Like dream said two running backs, 500 plus yards.

Speaker 2:

That can never happen, like bro no, no no, no no, no yeah I like yeah, yeah, what'd you say? Raps FIU, I wanted Manny Fire. Yeah, bro, you wanted him dead. Oh, my bad, my bad, I had dead.

Speaker 1:

Jesus. Hey, it's 261 people in here. Lss like share and subscribe. Let's get back to the comments. It's definitely FIU they dwelling on that FIU, I don't blame you, cause that was.

Speaker 2:

I feel like that was more embarrassing. Like bro, I had to live with that one. It was like nigga talking about so y'all coral gables, you y'all ain't even from the crib, no more. Like bitch, yeah. Well, there was no more fighting words at a point. Niggas trap money for like a fourth to 14. I seen that motherfucker live. Oh yeah. I mean it kind of got a certain someone out the door so it kind of left something to sting on. But I feel you, I feel you. I feel you.

Speaker 1:

But we got some hurt games, man. What about when we played Louisiana Tech and lost in the bowl game? Gee boy. But we got some rough ones 50. We got some rough ones, 50. Boy, we got some rough ones. You know, we lost. We got blew out by Duke Mario first year. Oh, nobody said Middle Tennessee.

Speaker 2:

Jesus.

Speaker 1:

We got some tough losses we got a 305 on it. Because this nigga a true bad boy Middle. Tennessee. Jesus, hey, hey, 50. Hey, 50, boy, we got some tough losses. Jesus, we could be here all day.

Speaker 2:

We could be here a very, very long time, all day talking about the pain. But we done, had man Like it, just sickening Like. Ooh, ooh ooh, it's really, really, really sickening. And oh, producer, put that picture up by the coach's poll man. I need to see that real quick.

Speaker 1:

You waiting on that? Okay, I'm trying to figure out how Lawrence Green, I see why we 19,. But it's like, come on, man, I understand it'd be pretty easy because you best believe that Clemson ain't going to be where they at. There's going to be a lot of teams within the first month. A lot of teams going to be shifting in and out of there. A lot of teams. I see, kind of where they put us at 19,. And then I'm like, okay, I know how we're going to get there, but if we do what we got to do, I ain't tripping. I ain't tripping at all. I think that's a good setup.

Speaker 1:

High we already know about Georgia, ohio State, oregon, texas just lost their running back today. Yeah, yeah, he out for the season I heard. Yeah, I hate that. For Cedric Baxter, I like the kid he proved me wrong last year. I want to hire him coming out of high school. I don't know Alabama. Good Alabama, good luck to them. I don't see them being in the top. Ole Miss they got a weak schedule. Notre Dame got a tremendously weak schedule. Michigan I don't know. Penn State, I don't know Florida State yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't mind being 19 starting off. I know we gonna handle business by the first month, by the first month. We should be no, no further than 12. We should be at 12 by the end of the first. I'm gonna should be no further than 12. We should be at 12 by the end of the first month. I'm going to ask you this I see one school in particular.

Speaker 2:

What's that? Why is they number three?

Speaker 1:

Oregon.

Speaker 2:

Uh-huh, they're jersey, no rings. Why are they there?

Speaker 1:

They're there because they hit that portal. They hit that portal hard. They hit that portal hard, man, they got some returners. Then you got to think they in the Big Ten. I think they play. I know they play Ohio State and they play Wisconsin. They got a weak schedule 50. They got a weak schedule. I don't think Michigan got enough athletes. I think they're going to be able to stop Michigan in the ring game, but I think they play Michigan in Ann Arbor too. I think at the big house it's Ann Arbor, right. I'm going to make sure I'm saying that right.

Speaker 2:

Ann Arbor. Yeah, you're saying that, right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I know they play Michigan out there, but I think they'll beat Michigan. I only see Oregon. Oregon probably lose one time to Ohio State. I ain't going to lie, I like them making the playoffs. They can be in the top 12. I only see Ohio State being them.

Speaker 2:

That's it.

Speaker 1:

If Ohio State don't do it, they'll get the top 12.

Speaker 2:

You feel like LSU underrated on here. They should be higher LSU. They got them behind Mizzou.

Speaker 1:

I feel Mizzou had a great year last year and all that but the LSU got to go out there and prove it, because I think since Brian Kelly came to, lsu been starting off slow, but then they always pick it up at the end of the year. So that's about right. I can see them. I can see I think they play Alabama and LSU this year. I think they get that W. They play Florida and Florida. I think they get that W. People just sleeping on LSU because you know they got a first-year quarterback. Well, this is a first-year starting. As a matter of fact, I'm looking at a few teams up there with a first-year quarterback. Yeah, I'm looking at a few teams up there, um, so it's like uh, no, nico, you got, uh, yeah, you got dju coming into his first year. You got dylan gabriel coming into his first year real howard uh, yeah, I don't even know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, michigan, yeah, it's a lot of teams up there. Oklahoma got a first-year quarterback. It's a lot of teams up there with a first-year quarterback. So if that quarterback don't ride to the occasion, you can see the Miami Hurricanes in front of you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, USC, they got a first-year quarterback too, right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. Well, USC, oh yeah, yeah USC up there. I think NC State too, because your boy from Coastal Carolina.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, nc State.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, nico, I think I said that, nico, with Tennessee, they got something going on in Clemson. I heard a walk-on. He's fighting for a starter rest. We'll see what that's about. I heard your boy ain't cutting it out, though he ain't getting no better. Yeah, I heard he didn't hit his peak. That's what I'm hearing from the people. Oh, we got 308 people here Proud you could be in here today. Thank you, thank you. Thank you, lss. Like, share and subscribe. Like, share and subscribe. Hate is expensive and love is free. Remember that.

Speaker 2:

Like for real Like, share and subscribe.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm saying? What we got next. What we got next.

Speaker 2:

Well, it's kind of funny because I want to know is there anybody with a duo or running backs like us? You know what I'm saying In the ACC.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely not. Hey, wait I was about to say producer, what you doing? Yeah, producer, what are you doing? Wake up, You're trying to get fly already. Yeah, this is the first time on the job and it may be your last. Don't even worry about it. Don't even worry about it.

Speaker 2:

Hey, we're going to get a new producer. Y'all, Chase is here.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, hey, small thing to John, anyway, no, no, no, no, no, yeah, yeah, yeah, hey, small thing to John, Anyway, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Nobody ain't got a better door than us at running back. You got Mark Fletcher and you got Damian Martinez coming in, one-two punch and let's say I said this yesterday 50,. Okay, what if Mark Fletcher get to the first game and he be like, nah, or you know, mark, mark, Chris, bobby, be like no, go sit out, wait, get better. You ain't got this, not conference play. And even if Martinez and Chris Johnson get out there, I think we still got to be. I think we got the one, two and three. It don't matter. I feel like no other team in the ACC as a duo, I feel like no other team in the ACC has a deal.

Speaker 2:

We got the one, two and three.

Speaker 1:

You better believe it. Woo, you can't teach speed, you can't teach a 4-3, a real 4-3.

Speaker 2:

Is that the fastest human you ever seen?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, most definitely, because when he caught that swing pass the other day and he started running, I'm like okay, I said wait a minute. I said wait a minute. I said wait a minute, boy you. I said god damn. I said shit, I ain't know who. I keep telling myself I ain't know who that, but it's just about him getting in the open field. You can see flash of it. Last year I know he played against Temple. You know you really can't get a judgment off that, but they tried to put him in Georgia Tech for the same swing pass, that tbd.

Speaker 1:

We're not gonna talk about tbd, but if this man get in space, 50 man, you can go ahead and kiss the baby. Oh god, you can kiss it. Yeah, kiss the baby. Well, that's pretty much what all our running back, all our running backs. I feel like you know what?

Speaker 1:

Aj Allen got to step it up, fitz, I know that's random, but he got to step it up. Yeah, I just got to go ahead and say it because I give a lot of love, but I got to give constructive credit to AJ Allen. Got to step it up. I mean game one immediately. I need to see AJ Allen moving them feet, making some runs because he transferred his body. I need to see AJ Allen moving them feet, making some runs because he transferred his body. I need AJ Allen to not let the younger players just come in here and do this. Aj Allen is just but 50, like I keep saying, the way they're recruiting 50. Jesus, you could be the man of the day. You could be the hero of the day and the zero tomorrow. Right, aj Allen need to step it up. I'm tired of this. Aj Allen need to step it up, but he got to hit the Greyhound Greyhound.

Speaker 1:

One way ticket. Yes, yeah.

Speaker 2:

What you going to give him? A box of churches on the Greyhound.

Speaker 1:

I don't got to give him nothing. He'll figure it out, I promise you. He got to step it up immediately. I'm saying too much Hellcat and Jordan Lyles. And then we got Chris Johnson stepping it up. Come on, man, you already know. We got Fletcher and Martinez. Aj Allen got to step it up. He got to do something to make my eyes scratch.

Speaker 2:

Right, right, right. And another thing I saw homie. We got three receivers on the Belentikoff on watch, like three of them. It's Sam Brown, rescrepo and George.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, oh, well-deserved by all these players, all these receivers are returning at least 800 from Brown and George, and then you got 1,000 from Rescrepo Well-deserved. And these guys are, from what I'm seeing, they living up to it. Man, good route, running good hands Out there competing, can't touch them at the line. It's a lot of you got to understand. People are battling but they getting off the press real well, man, what can I say? 50? We got to. Man, listen, this may be the best receiving corps I've seen. For you in a while huh.

Speaker 1:

Man, I'm trying to think. I can't think it's been a little minute now. Yeah, then you add a tight end, then you still got, I think.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that will call you man, you will get a rotation. You still got JoJo. You still got Horton. Chance Robinson oh my God man, listen man, that boy you can't teach that size and speed. He going to be one of them, Even if he don't get in. You still got Robbie. You still got Ray-Ray that look good today. Oh my God man, Come on, man 50. Come on, man, it's going to have to be a receiver rotation. He can't do the three receiver. Maybe he put a fourth in this year.

Speaker 1:

You want to know another reason why I'm excited about that receiver rotation Because you had Young George and Rescribble starting last year. But if you remember the Texas A&M game, Horton got in one play and just went deep. I think the fresh layers coming from Vince this year. I think you get that same result over and over, week by week, week, week, week to week, man. And I just think, shout out to Kevin Beard, man, I love that addition to the coaching staff. He ain't did nothing, but he done doing the lowest work since day one. Man, First off, before we even go to the Lintner Cup nominees, when the last time you seen the Miami Hurricanes have two all-conference receivers returning to the team? When the last time you seen that. That's what I'm telling you.

Speaker 1:

It's been a while man, kevin Beard, putting in a lot of work. And not only is Kevin Beard putting in work, you got your quarterback. Yeah, flying the kids up, flying the receivers out to Texas, putting in that extra work, right, leaking up with his guys and Shadur guys, yeah, I just see we got man. Listen, man, I know it's been a short time 50, but, man, that hard work going to pay off, it will not go unnoticed.

Speaker 2:

It's looking real different. It's looking real different. Like a lot of work is being had, like they really like putting in that work, like I love it, like they just it is all football. Like you said, no more gas station picks.

Speaker 1:

I ain't seen a gas station pick in Lord knows how long. I ain't been seeing them out there with a bit. But listen, man, when you stop seeing certain things, because if you expect to do the same thing and expect different results, that's insanity. Now I'm seeing different things and I know they're expecting a different result and they're going to get that. I'm sorry, man. I just see them on their p's and q's. Man, I see I'm seeing this ball club on their good leadership and we got a lot of seniors that you know they can't come back after this and they want to leave it all out there.

Speaker 2:

So I'm loving what I'm seeing yeah, and another thing is this I was talking to a Gator fan today, homie Okay, and he hit me with something that I just feel like I need to just address real quick. I want to ask the Chasers, just to let me know if I'm tripping or not, who better is Chasers, eugene Wilson or Jacoby George, because they're telling me. Ooh, that's a good one, that's a good one People telling me Eugene Wilson is a cabana, jerry Weiss, terrell Owens, randy Moss Cabana and one receiver.

Speaker 1:

They ain't say that they couldn't have said that.

Speaker 2:

That's how they've been talking they couldn't have said that.

Speaker 1:

Let's see what they're hollering about, though.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, like you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, George.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Corey DeVos said George, af Duquesne said George, Okay, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Okay, we got a lot of Georges in the chat.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, george, trick or one George, okay, okay, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, george, yeah, jg.3. Yeah, ice Thigh Bart, yeah, I see him. You know what I'm saying? Christian and JG3. Coach Ferg, the other is speculation. I mean, come on, man, I'm just you know what I'm saying. I was just like I'm seeing 800 yards, eight touchdowns, to like what it was what he got Almost 600? And like six touchdowns.

Speaker 1:

I think he had 500. We ain't going to say, we're going to call it right now, he had 500. He had about six touchdowns, I think. He had like he had a crazy number of catches.

Speaker 2:

Wait, hold on, hold on, hey, producer, hit that 850 Kane, lady. Comment right quick for me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, wilson, a screen-only receiver, bubble screen, eugeneonly receiver.

Speaker 1:

Bubble screen Eugene 50., 50. I thought it was going to be some people down there saying Eugene Wilson, but you know me, I was with George from the very get-go. I was with George from the very get-go. I was with George from the very get-go, oh stop. I love Jacobus George. Oh stop. I love Jacoba George. I love Jacoba George. I just need him to stop.

Speaker 2:

Hey, producer, hit that ice dot bar. Comment for me real quick. Hit that one. How many hundred y'all games Wilson had? I'm going to go on mute.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to go on mute with you'm going to go on mute with you. You both going to be on mute, IceBart, oh shit. You both going to be on mute.

Speaker 2:

I'm just saying, man, I've been hearing a lot that our receivers ain't really like that, and they calling us going to lock us up and all this, and they got me feeling like we about to play the Monsters of Midway.

Speaker 1:

I agree with that comment right there. He not on his level. He got a potential to be, though. He got a potential to be. But, george, come on man, better route running. I think I give Trey Wilson the speed. That's it though.

Speaker 2:

That's it.

Speaker 1:

He definitely not going to go across that middle like George. Brother screen. Eugene, new's it. Yeah, he can handle it. He definitely not going to go across that middle like George. Yeah, over and over. Brother Scream. Eugene, new name alert. Oh, that been his name. Blocker, that been his name. That been his name. Yeah, if you ain't never hit nobody. Yeah, blocker, that been his name. Good athlete though, we ain't going to take none away from him.

Speaker 2:

He Hold on homie, hold on homie. We might have to find a producer if he don't play that commercial. Do I know that?

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, Producer, bow your head.

Speaker 2:

What's up, chasers? And I got something for y'all. Yeah, Y'all can get y'all some gator early than the 31st, that's right At Henry Lee Southern Barbecue, where you can get your pork chop basket, some gator nuggets and plenty more, and the number is 352-410-0754. Speaker 1:

I hope you got a watch. Grab a sneaker. What did they say? Give me a break.

Speaker 2:

Which one of their commercials say if you're going to be waiting for a ride, grab a sneaker, whatever they say, yeah, yeah, grab a sneaker.

Speaker 1:

Grab a sneaker, Ferg.

Speaker 2:

It's not. Oh, jacoby George, route running Serious Trigger one yeah.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 2:

Speaker 1:

Speaker 2:

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's my thing.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I just be like.

Speaker 1:

Come on now.

Speaker 2:

Like what is we talking about here, man? Like we got players too, man, and all that. But a little off topic, homie, how you feel about Noah Lyles destroying Jamaica. You know what I'm saying. I know that's been a little talk and all that. How you feel about that, homie? Hold on, Say that again. About what About Noah Lyles? Speaker 1:

You want to play crackhead against him? Hey, 50. Listen, man, All I'm going to say it was an altercation and it was time for Kermode to go. I got that from a very, very, very, very, very, very, very reliable source. It was time for Kermode to go and I always said he should have just probably went to Florida from the get-go and never went out there with Deion.

Speaker 1:

But when you're always the best player growing up and people put you on the pedestal and then you finally get the five-star status and the NIL coming and then you know you get to pick and choose your school. You already got the big boy car in high school and all that, listen. Then dion sanders, come on that like that's. Come on, man, you can't let the kid been on the pedestal for so long. He finally got humble. I hope none best, uh, but the best for the kid. I'm glad he not off the team at florida, but uh, it was definitely education. 50. I'm gonna just say this 50. You need to get his hands up. He about definitely need to get his hands up.

Speaker 2:

He got to teach your mans how to squabble.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 2:

Right, right, it's definitely free man. And another thing homie, what's? Up, I'm going to talk to this football man. Now I'm going to ask you this I want to spin back into this practice real quick, Okay. No problem About the safety room and you said something about Marquis Do you really believe?

Speaker 1:

Absolutely. Marquis been putting in a lot of work. He's been enjoying the process. Never thought about going to the portal. Ball halt, ball, halt. He look decent on this game. He look decent, you know, still need to put a little weight on. I think he didn't accomplish that.

Speaker 1:

I think if you give these kids this opportunity, this should fit You're going to be shocked. I think Jackson, sheva Jackson, I think he the key to that defense success. That's why Gidger ran out so fast and got them. They already got chemistry. I think they're better with the players because you see these players 50. You see these players moving different, with a different swagger, the swagger we've been dying for them to get.

Speaker 1:

I think I used to think, oh, the team is going to go undefeated and this and that. But I don't think the team thought that in the past. But this year I'm thinking, okay, let's just win the ACC and get in the playoffs. But I've seen the Royals say we're thanking Natty and, I know, cam Ward. It's like we got seniors on the team like George Rescrepo. Yeah, come on, man Porter. Yeah, we got Cam Ward. You feel what I'm saying? Uh, rivers, uh, you know what I'm saying. You got seniors on the team. So they thinking, man, this is our last go, man, why they got to be better, this attitude fit, is how they're carrying themselves. Man, right, man, listen, I, I, I can't go on that enough. I can't go on that enough. Only thing I want to say my constructive criticism. Right quick, I don't want no green tree. All americans 50, I that.

Speaker 2:

That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

I'm tired of the green tree All-Americans hearing about you balled out in Pratton, but when you see it, 50, I think we putting it all together. You got veteran players going at OJ, like you know, tying up. I really love when I'm seeing 50, man, yo, yo. I think Marquis can do that. I know I went all out the way, but I think Marquis going to be ready this year and so will Harris oh hey, homie, I just saw a comment from somebody.

Speaker 2:

I know you wish he was up here so you could bow their head. I know you wish they was up here. Look what he just said. It's a Calican 818. Question for y'all do you believe that our running back room is like the og room when we had gore porters and mcgahee?

Speaker 1:

yes, I already answered that. I already said I wish I was up so you could bow your head, but I appreciate you for answering that question. Let me know you're getting active. I appreciate your active.
