EP #56: Healing Through Energy: Cory Martin’s Journey with Creekside Vitality and Overcoming Skepticism

Sophia Yvette

What makes Cory Martin with Creekside Vitality a good neighbor?

Can you really release trapped emotions and correct imbalances in your body through energy healing? Today, Cory Martin from Creekside Vitality joins us to share her transformative journey into the world of energy healing. After losing her grandmother in 2020, Cory was introduced to the emotion code and found herself skeptical of its claims. However, she soon became a believer after witnessing astonishing results on herself and her family. Cory discusses her methods, including the emotion code, body code, and belief code, and how these techniques have changed the lives of many.

Cory also sheds light on common misconceptions about her work, such as the fear that energy healers can read minds or that sessions need to be conducted in person. She explains her unique approach of conducting sessions via video or silent proxy, ensuring a safe and private environment for her clients. Despite facing personal hardships, including her father-in-law's illness, Cory remains committed to her mission of helping others achieve relief and balance. Tune in to hear Cory's inspiring story and learn more about the potential of energy healing to improve well-being.

Speaker 1:

This is the Good Neighbor Podcast, the place where local businesses and neighbors come together. Here's your host, Sophia Yvette.

Speaker 2:

Welcome to the Good Neighbor Podcast. Are you in need of an energy healer? Surprisingly, or maybe closer than you think, today I have the pleasure of introducing you to your neighbor, corey Martin, with Creekside Vitality. Corey, how are you doing today? I'm doing pretty good. How are you? I'm great. Thank you so much for asking. We're excited to have you on the show today. Tell us a bit about Creekside Vitality, so at Creekside Vitality.

Speaker 3:

We are energy healers. I'm actually getting ready to expand to have a new one, so it's two of us, and what I do is I release negative energies in the form of trapped emotions and these energies get stuck on you and they have a hold on you. So I release the hold that they have on you. Sometimes they can get stuck in tissues and make discomfort throughout the body. I also find and correct imbalances and I help you with negative belief systems to get rid of those. All of these I learned through Discover Healing. So it's emotion code, bodyances, and I help you with negative belief systems to get rid of those. All of these I learned through Discover Healing. So it's emotion code, body code and belief code.

Speaker 2:

And how did you get into this business?

Speaker 3:

Well, actually, my grandmother died in 2020 and a friend of mine started releasing emotions in me and told me about the emotion code. So I went and bought the book and I read the book and you have to know me to know that I hate self-help books and so I thought this is a joke, I'm not going to read it. But I read the whole thing and I loved it and I started practicing on myself and on my family and we were just amazed at the results. And it's then I knew I wanted to be able to help other people, and so I went and I got certified again through Discover Healing.

Speaker 2:

And what are the myths or misconceptions in your industry? I'm sure there's a lot.

Speaker 3:

There are a lot. One of the biggest ones I come with is I do all of my sessions on video, or what I call a silent proxy. So you're not in person with me, you're not sitting beside me, I'm not touching you, but I do connect to your subconscious and I can do it through video, like I said, and it's so powerful because it's just energy. We're connecting to each other through energy and I can't explain how amazing it is that that energy is released in the other person when I'm still doing the work through the video. And then the other thing that people are afraid of is that I read your mind. I don't read your mind. I don't want to read your mind and I don't need the details of your life. If you want to share with me, that fine, but I don't have to know all those things.

Speaker 2:

Is there a reason you do it in video instead of in person?

Speaker 3:

Mostly. I don't have really a location to do it, so I do it out of my house. I am a homeschool mom so there's a lot of stuff going on around the house and we also live in the country, so it's not really safe to have strangers coming up on the land with the cattle and the other things that are out here, and so I want to be my family to be safe for strangers that may be coming up and for the strangers who want help. I want them to feel safe, and so doing it over the phone makes it a more safe environment and they can be in their own private place where they know they're not being overheard by other people and I use my earbuds so they can't hear me. Nobody in my house can hear, and so it's just a safe place for them.

Speaker 2:

Now let's go ahead and change gears for a second, and I know you did touch on this a bit, but can you describe one hardship or life challenge? You rose above and can now say because of it, you're better and stronger? When I say that for you, what is the first thing that comes to mind?

Speaker 3:

Honestly, right now we are in a season of challenges. My father-in-law is dying in front of our eyes. He's been getting worse and worse over the past month, and then we found out two weeks ago that my husband lost his job and it's just been kind of a kick in the gut. But I can tell you that if I wasn't doing this, I would be a puddle on the floor still today, and I've seen the differences from like when my grandmother had passed and my husband had lost his job before, the difference on how I feel and how I'm reacting. You're going to have the ups and downs of life, but getting these emotions out and correcting these imbalances is makes you to be able to handle the hardships when they come better.

Speaker 2:

And Corey, please tell our listeners one thing they should remember about Creekside Vitality.

Speaker 3:

Let's see, that's a hard question for me. We love God and we love people, and everybody's healing journey is a little bit different. Some people will need one or two sessions and whatever it is they're seeing before if it's anxiety or discomfort in their body can be completely healed. Other people, it can take them months or even years, depending on how big the issue is. God heals at his rate and I'm just his tool.

Speaker 2:

Amen to that and my condolences for your loss. Thank you, you're welcome. How can our listeners learn more about Creekside Vitality?
