Speaker 1:

Hey y'all, if you're gonna aspire to be anything, let's be authentically real. Assalamualaikum and good morning, welcome to Life, be Life-in with me, your host, me Alyssa B, and today I just wanted to introduce myself to you guys, give you a little background about who I am. So I'm a single mother of two children, boy and a girl. Background about who I am. So I'm a single mother of two children, boy and a girl. I work full time as a school bus driver. Except during the summer, it's part time due to not being in school full time. I also am a cheer coach for my daughter's cheerleading team as well, as I am a recent graduate with my associate's degree in social work, and so, essentially, I have decided to now create this podcast as another notch in my belt, as you would, but really to not only express how I've been feeling or the things I go through in my everyday life, but also to allow you guys to have a safe space, free of judgment, free of teardowns, free of negativity, just to allow you to feel or express whatever you might be feeling or need to express, as well as you might need some advice on everyday life struggles that you might currently be going through, and this is that space for you to not only get that advice, but as well for you to vent, release or however you feel like you need to do that. I want to create that safe space, that safe space, but I also really wanted to be able to share my everyday struggles with you guys and how I'm able to work through them, or maybe not even work through them, like I'm currently going through a situation now that I'm struggling to figure out how to work through, and I'm going to share that with you guys in a later podcast. But that's essentially what I wanted to do with this podcast was just to, you know, bring a space where I can not only discuss what I got going on, but also help you guys deal with what you guys might have going on, because life is hard, guys, it is extremely hard, and it is no place where we should have to tear each other down. Life does that enough for us. So that is the things that I want to stop with this world and hopefully try to eliminate with this podcast is just to stop tearing each other down. We don't have to tear each other down in order to be successful or build ourselves up.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to do a podcast series on relationships, and when I do that series, I'm going to specify and show you, guys, that not every relationship in your life has to be a negative one. Not every situation that you come across with a person needs to be where they tear you down or take from you or belittle you or make you feel like you're just less than Because no one is better than anyone like at all. No one is better than anyone. We are all human, we all have struggles, we all make sacrifices, we all do things to survive and work through, but I feel like we could all survive and be in better places if we worked together instead of tearing each other down.

Speaker 1:

So, essentially, guys, just come enjoy this podcast, get some words of encouragement, get some advice. Make this your safe space to be you and express yourself how you feel necessary. This your safe space to be you and express yourself how you feel necessary. I do want to thank you so much for all of your time today, guys, and I hope you guys have a great rest of your day. As-salamu alaykum, bye.
