Thanks for tuning in to your regularly-scheduled writing journey podcast, An Act of Will. I’m your host, Sydney. Let’s get started.

I figured I’d take this trailer and tell you a little bit about me and this podcast. I’m an as-yet unpublished writer that wants to take people on my writing journey. Consider this podcast to be somewhat of an audio-only vlog since I hate making traditional vlogs. I will recap what I’ve been doing the past month and share some hopefully-useful, or at least entertaining, tidbits as I go along. 

 I have a lot of ideas in the works, plus a whole lot more on the back burner, so this podcast will probably be a hot mess. But that’s just how being a writer- and human- is. 

The genres I write in are also varied- I’ve written love stories, supernatural ones, suspense, mysteries, and oddball one-offs that have nothing to do with the rest of my works. I also write in different formats- novels, short stories, and poems. Novels are more common because I can get a bit long-winded in terms of writing. 

I wanted to bring you all with me on my journey through storytelling. So if that sounds like something you’re interested in, follow the podcast.
