Hey everyone, welcome back to another episode on our podcast. Just a Bunch of Donkeys. Thanks for joining us. I really appreciate you're here. You know the point of this podcast is to just completely call out the and we have to follow blindly. So I just want to make my points and, you know, do some research on what we're seeing out there and put out real information for people to, you know, essentially be able to digest. And so I thank you for being here. Yeah, this episode, guys, I mean a lot in the news right now, just a ton of stuff coming out with. You know Harris, you know she's kind of taking lead.

Last night we saw Biden's speech or the address from the Oval Office. I didn't really craft anything to say about the, the, the Oval Office address. It was a little disappointing. I thought we were going to get some more answers and you could definitely tell that. You know it was just right to the point. He had to really stick to it. But I was really hoping we were going to get some answers. The American people have been lied to for so long about how he was going to be the candidate and I really wanted to hear what, what his. He was going to be the candidate and I really wanted to hear what his reasoning was going to be. Now I'm going to say that you know, this is my opinion, my opinion. So I don't you know. If you don't believe this, I mean I completely understand it. But I think what we're seeing is some sort of coup.

Right now, I think the I don't know. I mean I think that it is totally possible that Biden's hand was completely forced in this. We saw that with the letter. We've talked about the letter on here. I mean I just I don't think that that came from the president. I think it was crafted. Was it released? Did all of this happen? You know everybody come out, start endorsing, you know Harris, and I mean Biden's really not going to swim back from that. Biden's not going to come out and say, hey guys, actually they really wanted me to not run. I'm sure you heard that the past couple of weeks after they were calling for me to step back, and I mean he's not going to come out and say that he's not going to turn his back on the establishment he's been a part of for so long. So yeah, I don't know. I think that we witnessed something We've witnessed where now, harris is kind of this front runner for the Democrats and not one single American voter has voted for her.

Now, last night over on the TikTok feed, as I was kind of digesting in some comments, there was somebody going back and forth of, well, by default, she should get it. Of course she was the running mate. Now I do think that it was going to. It is safe to assume she was going to be his running mate moving forward. I don't think that he was going to replace her, but hey, that formal process of who his VP pick for the following year, to my knowledge at least, was not Harris. I think it was just assumed it was going to be Harris. So I mean, was it even going to be Harris? I don't know.

But I think for the people in the comments and what they're kind of going back and forth on was, well, you don't understand, she should get the nomination. I think I'll disagree there. Right, we need to have a vote on this. This is America. We need to have our democratic process. So, yeah, I disagree there.

I think that we've really got some bigger things going on, but nonetheless, we have Harris, frontrunner moving forward, we're going to talk about in this episode. We're going to talk about some fact check. I'm going to fact check a couple things that she's been saying. As far as referring to Donald Trump, this goes a little bit before she was obviously now for the presidential bid and then now currently, what she's saying. So there's a couple things there Pretty interesting. I ran a poll, I ran a poll. I want to share those poll numbers with you. It was put through multiple platforms and different sections. So definitely interested to, or I definitely want to, show you those polls and we're going to go move on to Biden's speech a little bit more. Just a couple of quotes from there and a couple of things that I think we need to work through.

So first up, let's do some fact checks on Harris. So first, if you don't know who she was before she was vice president, harris is a former United States senator. She is from California, that is my home state. She did launch an unsuccessful presidential campaign in 2020. She was running, obviously, with Joe Biden. So if you didn't know that, I'm sure you know it, but if you didn't know it, you know. There it is. She obviously kind of overnight literally overnight became the nominee for the Democrats' last kind of chance at stopping Trump. So that's a little bit about Harris, kind of just in a nutshell.

I want to fact check a couple of things. I've got it kind of typed out here kind of lengthy, so if I look away or whatever it is, bear with me, I'm also not good at reading and talking at the same time. With me, I'm also not good at reading and talking at the same time. So Harris has repeated multiple times that former President Trump quote intends to cut Social Security and Medicare. Now I see this from both sides. I tried to back check both sides. Guys, this is specifically on what Harris is claiming. I think that if we have Donald Trump claiming that against the Democrats, we can address that. But this is specifically on Harris. So she has repeated the claim over and over again that he intends to cut Social Security and Medicare. So remember guys, president Trump, he was president, he was president, he was president. So even though while he was president he did not attempt to cut either the retirement program when he was president or Medicare, he has said he is not going to cut it in his second term. So, really important, trump was already a president, he didn't cut it in his first term and he has not come out and said he's going to cut it in the second term. So let's just you know, let's digest that. That's a fact check right there.

She's referred to Project 25. Now, this keeps coming up. I'm sure this is going to be an episode in the future. But what is Project 25 in a nutshell? Right, it is a conservative plan for deeply cutting and overhauling the federal government, and it has been dubbed Trump's extreme 2025 agenda. Trump has come out and has completely said I don't know anything about this program. I don't know anything about this program. It is seriously extreme. That's quote serious extreme. But he's come out and said it's not my plan. So I do know a lot of people are connecting, obviously, the plan to Trump. There are people that were from his administration, or close Trump allies, if you will that are involved in this project.

But, guys, I just don't think it's fair, for you know, Harris I did see a video right before this too that she just did a speech. She came out and said I can't believe that they, the Republicans, have printed what they're going to do in 900 pages. So I think that, yes, there is obviously printed material. I think that they should stop referring to the Project 2025. As Trump has said, it's not what I'm going to do. That is just. It's a lie and so, yeah, let's just, let's just keep moving on, right? Trump could do the same thing and I'm sure is release things that are inaccurate. I look to you know, call him out at that time and go through, go through his stuff, but for the most part, project 25 is seriously extreme and he doesn't want anything to do with it. She has repeated one of her. Ok, let's see this.

Another thing that she's saying Donald Trump openly vowed, if reelected, he will be a dictator on day one. This is something that we're seeing from her, we're seeing from Biden, and this is something that we're seeing from her, we're seeing from Biden, we're seeing from the left, for sure. Again, see, I'm like reading all of my notes, but pretty much, trump said it jokingly and he wasn't going to be a dictator, except for day one. Taking out of context, I think they were talking about he wanted to drill and close the borders. So, outside of being a dictator on day one. That's what he was referring to is he wanted to do two things and then move on? So I think it's taken out of context. I don't think he's. You know, he's not talking about being a dictator except on day one, and that is for drilling and closing the border.

One she keeps misleading with the impression that Trump was to blame for the loss of tens of thousands of manufacturing jobs. The United States added more than 400,000 manufacturing jobs under Trump until the global pandemic of COVID-19, which then reversed all of those gains. So a lot of that data comes in from, obviously the pandemic and when I pulled up the labor statistics to really see that shoot up, obviously with COVID-19, I think when we're comparing Trump's final year in office, let's look at it like 2019, even though obviously there were things he did in 2020, but I think before the economy was really shaken up. Let's look at 19 and then let's compare it to now at 24 or, excuse me, 23. And let's see where we line up there.

You know I'm curious. I mean we've got for Harris, we've got a lot of endorsements right now. Harris has got a lot of endorsements from the left, some big players like the Clintons. I mean, we're really seeing people come out of the woodworks to endorse her and kind of put out the narrative of you need to vote for her, but where's President Obama's endorsement? Why hasn't that come out? What's going on there? Really curious about that endorsement. Does President Obama know something that we don't know and he doesn't want to stamp his name on? I really think that that is something that, as you are being fed all of this information, why is Obama not endorsing Harris? Very curious about that. So let's you know. Maybe we'll look for the endorsement, maybe it's coming, but what's going on? Where's Obama's endorsement? Okay, so, talking about the poll I ran earlier, so I let this run for 24 hours.

I did it on different platforms, but for the most part, one particular platform allowed me to do it under the candidates. So I went under Trump, I went under Harris and I went under RFK's kind of feeds. If you will and obviously, as I you know, you go under Trump you're going to come up with some Trump supporters. You're going to come up with RFK supporters, harris supporters on their own sections. But I was actually surprised to see that the random polls reflected this. So Trump still pulls out number one.

As if the election was held today, who would you vote for? Trump pulled number one. It's surprising to me. Rfk number two. Rfk Jr number two. Rfk junior number two. I I pretty, uh, I mean pretty insane there. And then harris, uh, coming in last number three. So, guys, I don't think, I really don't think, uh, harris has got a shot here. I mean, I think that she's gonna have to do some things to really show the american people she's serious and she's a serious contender. So, um, I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out of that.

But, uh, you know, right before I jumped on this episode, I got a text message from my mom, and my mom is the traditional. I'm going to watch the mainstream media on, you know, on the television. I'm going to kind of see what's in my Facebook feed and I'm going to kind of see what's going on there, and you know it was interesting. She texts me, you know, I think Harris is going to be our next president. So I immediately called her and I'm like, okay, so I'm curious, what would give you that, you know that impression? Now she said, well, I've been watching TV and so, you know, mainstream I am not going to, um, I mean CNN is who she watches, abc news local. Um, she watches ABC News local, but mainstream media and that's who she's watching. So what would lead her to that impression? You know, I started kind of going over the episodes. Oh, I didn't know that, I didn't know that. So, guys, I think they're trying to pull just a fast one right now. They're going to get creative Media outlets are going to put misinformation out there, or at least misleading headlines.

The articles are going to be swayed and we saw this, we've seen it before, we continuously see it. Look at the assassination with Donald Trump, right as that is released. Donald Trump fell and the Secret Service had to pick him up. Released. Donald Trump fell and the Secret Service had to pick him up. Obviously, there was a correspondent there that was able to get that information to that news media organization and that news media organization was able to put something out. So we're seeing this where it's developing and it's not the narrative that we as Americans deserve. We just deserve the truth.

If Trump is pulling higher, say Trump is pulling higher. If Harris is pulling higher, say she's pulling higher. I don't like that. You know. I log on 24 hours later, you know, after Harris is now the, she's got enough delegates to on her side to secure the nomination. And I'm seeing Harris polls 49 percent to Trump, 51 percent Trump. And it's like I'm not understanding that because literally a week before we were seeing Harris poll at 12 percent and I just don't know where this has come up. So I'm kind of interesting perspective of a phone call from my mom right before this episode, you know.

And back to Biden and his speech last night. I mean I think I don't know. I don't want to say he's ill, I don't want to say something's going on. I don't really think that he's going to do anything the remainder of the presidency. I think that that is scary, that we have somebody that is not capable of executing the presidency of the United States If something was to happen. I am so, I am so I don't want to say paranoid, but yeah, maybe paranoid is the word of. I don't want there to be an attack on American soil and we can't handle it. But the address last night, I mean no real takeaways.

I do have a quote that I would like to talk about for a second, but it is you know, we've decided. Do you still believe in honesty, decency and respect, freedom, justice and democracy. And I think, with the way I talk about everything in this episode or these episodes in this podcast, especially like Donkey of the Day, is honesty. I don't want to be lied to and I feel like we are still being lied to. So I mean, does he really believe in honesty, decency? I mean I can respect the presidency of the United States, but what he did to American people was that decent. I mean, I do think it was decent that he has bowed out because you know he's not capable of doing the job, but he should have known that. So I get it Respect. I do have respect for President Biden. Thank you for your service. But are you respecting us by telling us what we you know, what we need to know?

Guys, go into work. Go into work, talk to your coworker going to work. Talk to your coworker. If your coworker is having a mental decline, would you be able to tell in the first month, three months, six months, year, three and a half years? Would you be able to tell if somebody was not capable of doing their job anymore? Yeah, I think you would. You interact with these people on a daily basis. We see our coworkers sometimes more than our family members. Right, you see them behind closed doors.

Harris knew about Biden's missile decline. Harris has come out and said he's sharp, he's fine. We've got plenty of interviews there and I get that she's got to paint the narrative. I mean she's kind of her boss is telling her, or whatever it is that you need to. You know, stay track, stay on course. But let's go back to the honesty. We want honesty and you were dishonest to us telling us that Biden was OK. We know that he wasn't and obviously there was some sort of green light after the debate that these media outlets decided to really put pressure on him.

Another quote I've decided the best way to move forward is to pass the torch to a new generation. It's the best way to unite our nation. I disagree. You don't pass the torch here. We vote, we vote. God is America. There's no passing of the torch. But I'll vaguely read it as you. It as just something that was in his speech. I just think that that's crazy. Blm put out a statement, black Lives Matter put out a statement and a little quote on that statement was Kamala was selected, not elected. Again, agree, she was selected and not elected. In America we elect to the people that represent us, or at least we like to think we do so. We need a public participation for the DNC to officially nominate her. There needs to be real American voters behind that.

And just curious if anybody knows this is a little snippet at the bottom here but does anybody know who United State Representative Dean Phillips of Minnesota is? He had a long shot presidential, a bit challenging Joe Biden earlier this. You know this election cycle obviously about out. Biden took the nomination, but I've got to tell you, between Dean Phillips and Harris right now, phillips was at least voted. He at least has one vote more than Harris has to be president of the United States or, excuse me, to be a candidate for the president of the United States. So think about that. You've got a representative out of Minnesota that unsuccessfully ran but has more votes than the nominee moving forward, but has more votes than the nominee moving forward. The system is broken.

We need to ask questions both sides, both sides. I have been transparent before. I am a conservative in California, so but I would like to attempt to just dissect everything and put it out. I don't care what you vote for. Please don't care. I mean, I truly don't. You vote for what represents you and yourself and your beliefs. That is America, and that is why we are here in America. So, but I think allowing the media and allowing elites and allowing corporations and allowing these people to say this is the person that you are going to be allowed to vote for is not America, and we are so far away from what I think our founding fathers wanted for America.

So, with that being said, ask questions. Ask questions. Don't believe everything you see. Don't believe everything I'm saying right now. Go out and fact check it yourself, please, because I want you to understand that in America, it's okay to ask questions. We have the freedom of speech. We have the freedom to do these things.
