Foreordinations: Fulfilling Our End-time Missions for Jesus Christ

introduction and Chapter one- Foreordinations: Awakening to Our Foreordained End-time Missions

Translation, or shifting from a mortal body into a terrestrialized body, is transitioning from a telestial, corruptible body, up and into a more perfect, terrestrial body, that exists in a higher dimension.
Translation is a process, not one single event. It pertains to those in mortality who have been "foreordained" in the premortal existence for such. There is both an informal, as well as a formal translation process. The informal translation process consists of individuals in mortality who are progressing incrementally to higher frequencies and greater wisdom and knowledge.

The formal translation process, which can also happen during mortality, consists of a multitude of transformative spiritual experiences and ordinances, all of which commence with a special ordination that is performed in modern times by the ancient apostles Peter, James, and John.

The image on page iii is the artist's rendition of a primordial setting with countless souls (spirits) who are waiting for their turn to be "foreordained" for translation at some point during their future earth lives. The woman in the image is in the process of receiving her initial translation ordination by Peter, James, and John. She serves as a representative of all of those righteous Children of Light, both male and female, who depart from their premortal life and descend into this fallen world with the hope of one day completing their personal translation process while they yet exist in mortal flesh.

The concepts relating to translation are described in greater detail in Chapters 17 and 18.

The Family of Christ emblem

The emblem of the Family of Christ has great meaning. The partial moon in the upper-right represents the sons of Christ within the lines but also represents the Love of Christ, which encompasses and protects us all, and that through the Atonement, we may all be saved through Him and His Grace. The color and the texturing of the background represents bread or the Savior of the World as the Bread of Life.

The two reddish-orange waves on the left represent the Divine Feminine, with the upper split wave representing the daughters of Jesus Christ and the lower single wave representing Mary Magdalene as the DDP (Designated Dyadic Partner or Twin Flame) of the Messiah. They flow from the top center of the sun, showing that the Savior and Mary Magdalene were married and unified in might, mind, body, and spirit as an eternal couple.

The sun, (the Only Begotten Son), is intentionally located at the center of the emblem to remind us He is the Light and the Hope of the world and He should always be the center of our lives.

The foundation of blue waves is a representation of The Holy One of Israel as the Water of Life, the Living Water, and what that represents to those who partake and thirst no more. The blue swirls of the water with their arching flow represent grace and unity, signifying that Jesus is indeed the Living Water. The waves invite us to walk upon the water, as He did, and this reminds us that only through Him can we overcome the world and eventually become perfected in Him.

Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God. And again, if ye by the grace of God are perfect in Christ, and deny not his power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the remission of your sins, that ye become holy, without spot. Moroni 10:32-33

From the author

Dear Readers,
Although I am not the sole author of Foreordinations, in fact, I have been assisted by the work of more than 90 different authors, editors, and artists who have contributed their words, thoughts, impressions, and inspiration to en- hance the mission of Foreordinations. They have asked to remain anonymous, but I am deeply grateful and offer them tremendous thanks for their hard work in supporting the wishes of our Father in Heaven that this book goes forth into the world at this time, a critical period in preparation for the end-time events. If there are flaws in grammar, content, innocently misquoted, or mis-attributed information, I accept full responsibility and promise, with your submitted comments to our email (FathersWork10@gmail.com), to research and correct them to the best of my ability after engaging in sincere prayer.

Discernment as a spiritual gift must be applied on your journey of discovery through reading. The admonition found in Doctrine & Covenants 9 is wonderfully appropriate: study, ponder, then pray and ask Father if these things are true, and He will manifest it by a stupor of thought (meaning no) or as a burning within (meaning yes). To ASK is to Ask, Seek, and then Knock, always confident in the reality of receiving answers to prayers and exercising the keys to receive personal revelation. The final step is to have the courage and conviction to go forth, take action, and implement the new concepts learned. After all, what could possibly be more important than discovering the will of God and then doing it with full purpose of heart?

Foreordinations does not speak for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or its presiding brethren. Nor does this information, as presented, necessarily represent the individual beliefs of the many individuals who have so generously and lovingly contributed to this work. The objective is to present new, wondrous, and deeper concepts for discerning spiritual eyes and inquiring minds and facilitate the great latter-day awakening; to acknowledge, thank, and glorify God in all things!

Your personal stories, visions, recommendations, or insights are welcomed.

Theme scriptures

Today is the day of the Great Awakening! Dreams and visions are now multiplying exponentially! We are reaching out to strengthen those who feel they have special, end-time missions to fulfill, for at long last, the day has come to share these things openly. The following are the Theme Scriptures for Foreordinations.

Joel 2:28, 30, 32

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered . . .

Doctrine & covenants 88:77–78, 80

And I give unto you a commandment that you shall teach one an- other the doctrine of the kingdom. Teach ye diligently and my grace shall attend you, that you may be instructed more perfectly in theory, in principle, in doctrine, in the law of the gospel, in all things that pertain unto the kingdom of God, that are expedient for you to understand. That ye may be prepared in all things when I shall send you again to magnify the calling whereunto I have called you, and the mission with which I have commissioned you.

Doctrine & covenants 136:31

My people must be tried in all things, that they may be prepared to receive the glory that I have for them, even the glory of Zion; and he that will not bear chastisement is not worthy of my kingdom.

Dedication

As from the very commencement and origination of all things, we praise and glorify our Heavenly Parents! In humility, we acknowledge Jesus Christ, who is The Firstborn, The Holy One of Israel, and He Who Reigns Supreme, possessing all of the attributes which have been brought forth by all of the Prophets in holy writ, (canon); both ancient and modern.

Secondly, we unitedly express profound honor, and light, and love to those who are The Latter-day Children of Light, as these are they to whom this work is addressed and written.

Today this is the time of The Great Awakening. Awake and arise! Put on the full armor of Christ (Ephesians 6), and come to a more complete understanding of your personal, premortal foreordinations so that you might more valiantly fulfill your end-time missions for Jesus Christ.

We unitedly dedicate this book to you, the readers, the awakening ones, as many of you (if not most of you) certainly pertain to The Church of The Firstborn.

ephesians 6:10-18

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints . . .

Preface

In 2017, on the morning of Good Friday, I awoke early from something much more than just a nighttime dream—it was a vision.

What had opened before me was a very pleasant and welcomed, sequential unfolding of a formal gathering of the Lord’s gatherers. I immediately recognized it as one of many training sessions that were happening at the same time all over the world for those who had been foreordained to serve or function in a special role during the sacred end-time events. I could see that, in many cases, the training was accomplished on an individual basis by designated angels, not just in group settings like the one that I was watching as if it were a mini-panoramic movie. These training sessions were being conducted mostly by a wide variety of angels.

The word “angels” has quite a broad definition, as it refers not only to post-mortal just-men-made-perfect (post-mortal, disembodied spirits who have been blessed with justification regarding their second estate), resurrected beings, and translated beings but also has reference to teachings that come directly from the Lord on a very personal basis. The various functions, names, and roles of the Lord Jesus Christ create quite a protracted list, but in some cases, He is the very messenger delivering the message to us. In these instances, He is the Angel of which the prophets and the Holy Scriptures boldly speak.

The purpose of the training sessions was to help prepare those who had been called in the pre-existence to progress from one level of spiritual progression to the next higher level until they were completely prepared to fulfill their various, specified callings. The attendees were comprised mainly of those who were to remain in the flesh to undergo the twisting and churning of the tribulations period.

This group I watched in vision was one of the forward battalions, or vanguard groups, consisting of pre-ordained individuals who were to prepare places of refuge, and then travel to and help build New Jerusalem. They were preordained to become translated beings so that they could work within any and every capacity, enabling them to go into the world to bring back to Zion those righteous remnants of people whose hearts had not been hardened against the Holy One of Israel.

Just as there is an extensive list of varying spiritual gifts, likewise there is an even greater and more endless variety of foreordinations that took place in the premortal spirit realm of our first estate. In the same way that our performance and level of learning and progression here in this second estate is a springboard that provides for us that much more of an advantage in the third estate. Priesthood foreordinations are not figurative concepts; they were, and continue to be, a literal exercising of priesthood keys performed via the laying on of hands, hence the word “ordination.”

It all felt so natural to me. In this formal gathering, I was not only very comfortable and at home among them, but shocked to discover I had been designated one of the trainers and listed on the program as an instructor.

My standard dreams are vague. They come and go, and 95% of them I cannot even remember. But this was not a dream. I refer to it as a vision because it was gloriously vivid and detailed and because it was imprinted in my mind so profoundly there were no challenges regarding the level of recollection and retention. It was so clear that I did not need to go and pray for a more clear or detailed interpretation afterward. I am now becoming more and more accustomed to viewing myself from the outside looking in; the primary actor on a well-defined stage created specifically for teaching me whatever message is being conveyed in the wisdom of those who pertain to the courts above. I have been given permission to share this vision, as directed by the Spirit.

These visions and inspirations have led me to undertake a study of the last days and what it will take to be among the end-time servants. Foreordinations is a result of that study.

In ways I can’t yet see with clarity, these imperfect writings are intended to reach other point-men of the First Wave to spark a few pertinent concepts that will begin to germinate within them like little, tiny seeds to be nourished. These are “knowing” seeds they brought with them from their first estate. The spark is the beginning of the re-remembering process, as I like to call it, which requires frequent nourishment from the good Word of God, as pure doctrines are like the water/sun/soil combinations.

This combination of concepts and scripture is intended to bring these ideas to life and is written for all who are discovering that they, individually, have premortal foreordinations to accomplish specific last-day missions leading up to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Some already have vibrant testimonies of the tasks they are to perform that have been reinforced by their dreams and visions.

Others are just now awakening to the powerful spiritual warrior within them; they are becoming aware of the fact that they signed up a long time ago to undergo a dramatic experience of intense times and events which will forge them into hardened, shining, refined steel as they place themselves in the hands of the Lord.

The Twelve Aspects or Elements of Truth from the Father

We have been charged with the sacred stewardship of blessing the Earth every day and infusing marvelous truths from the Father into the world. But why? Because we are now awakening to a greater awareness of our premortal foreordinations—the contracts we entered into before our birth pave the way to enable us to facilitate the transitioning of all things from the telestial world up to the terrestrial realm in preparation for His coming in great glory. For this glorious transitioning of all that surrounds us, our motto is:

Righteousness and truth will I cause to sweep the Earth as with a flood.

One of the theme scriptures is the following from the Pearl of Great Price.

Moses 7:61–62

And the day shall come that the earth shall rest, but before that day the heavens shall be darkened, and a veil of darkness shall cover the earth; and the heavens shall shake, and also the earth; and great tribulations shall be among the children of men, but my people will I preserve: And righteousness will I send down out of heaven; and truth will send forth out of the earth, to bear testimony of mine Only Begotten; his resurrection from the dead; yea, and also the resurrection of all men; and righteousness and truth will I cause to sweep the earth as with a flood, to gather out mine elect from the four quarters of the earth, unto a place which I shall prepare, an Holy City, that my people may gird up their loins, and be long forth for the time of my coming; for there shall be my tabernacle, and it shall be called Zion, a New Jerusalem.

As we study these aspects or elements of truth, like facets on the same diamond, they sparkle with truth and resonate with our souls.

  1. Multiply and replenish: Part of the reciprocal law and eternal round is found in all life and moves life toward progression and increase.
  2. Agency and choice: The sovereign, innate will of every person brings freedom, and is foundational to our becoming the fullness of the craters that we already inherently are.
  3. Opposites in all things: There are always opposites which can exist in oppositional forces working against each other, or they can be complementary, working together in a balanced state in which they harmonize with each other.
  4. Individuality and uniqueness: as individuals, we are unique as a result of our will, agency, and choice. Uniqueness is the opposite of unity of wellness, which when combined with harmonizing, creates balance and plays a vital role in our eternal progression.
  5. Give and receive: The reciprocal law which recreates eternal round and endlessness.
  6. Unity and wholeness: The ultimate of all comes together to interface and work together in harmony and holiness in a unified manner to sustain and increase life.
  7. Truth and love: These are inseparable forces that create life itself. Combined together in their wholeness, truth and love give birth to wisdom.
  8. Creation and variety: The ways to create, those set upon eternal laws, can be arranged and re-arranged presenting infinite ways to create. There is always variety, which testifies of our godly nature to always create perpetually.
  9. Timeliness and order: All creation has organizational patterns, order, sequencing, interface, interaction, and a specific amount of time to manifest.
  10. Law of the harvest: “as you sow, so shall you reap.” that which is put forth comes back in like, kind, and nature.
  11. Hierarchy of greater and lesser: As there is progression, there will always be that which is more advanced and, therefore, greater.
  12. Goodness of everything: God created All things, and therefore He has potential for accomplishing greater goodness. Moreover, God will use All to create the highest goodness and the ultimate glory of All things.

Chapter one, Foreordinations: Awakening to our foreordained end-time missions

Remember, in the world before we came here, faithful women
were given certain assignments while faithful men were foreordained to certain priesthood tasks . While we do not now remember the particulars, this does not alter the glorious reality of what we once agreed to .
You are accountable for those things which long ago were expected
of you just as are those we sustain as prophets and apostles!

– Spencer W. Kimball, “The Role of Righteous Women,” Ensign, November 1979

As we approach the fulfillment of all prophesied end-time judgments and the return of Jesus Christ, a small number of people recognize the command from the Lord when He said, “Ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you . . ..” (Ether 8:24) Rather than feeling fear at the prospect of what this means, these people are having stirrings within their hearts and minds as they realize that somehow they will play an integral part. Those foreordained to accomplish certain tasks during these winding-up scenes of history (His story) are being awakened to this reality.

The perfect definition of the word “foreordained” is found in the Book of Mormon in Alma 13:3: “. . . called and prepared from the foundation of the world according to the foreknowledge of God . . ..”

When we think of those who were foreordained, we typically think of people who have played key, well-known roles in God’s plan, such as Jesus, Adam and Eve, Joseph Smith, or Christopher Columbus.

Doctrine & covenants 138:53–56

The Prophet Joseph Smith, and my father, Hyrum Smith, Brigham Young, John Taylor, Wilford Woodruff, and other choice spirits who were reserved to come forth in the [fullness] of times to take part in laying the foundations of the great latter-day work, including the building of the temples and the performance of ordinances therein for the redemption of the dead, were also in the spirit world. I observed that they were also among the noble and great ones who were chosen in the beginning to be rulers in the Church of God. Even before they were born, they, with many others, received their first lessons in the world of spirits and were prepared to come forth in the due time of the Lord to labor in his vineyard for the salvation of the souls of men.

It may seem far-fetched to think that someone like you could be foreordained to play a key role, but if you are entertaining such a possibility, it’s quite likely you are having these thoughts as reminders from the Holy Ghost. If you want to know more about this, fast and pray fervently for answers.

Foreordination, or being called and elected to do certain things or fulfill certain “missions” in this life, is based on 4 things:

1. We existed before this Earth as spirit children of our Heavenly Father and Mother.

2. In that premortal period, there were spirits so faithful to Jehovah that they earned the right to be “Israel” in this life. In other words, they were “called and elected” to be born with the blood of Israel as mortals. Elder Melvin J. Ballard said premortal Israel was “a group of souls tested, tried, and proven before they were born into the world. Through this lineage were to come the true and tried souls who had demonstrated their righteousness in the spirit world before they came here.” Elder Bruce R. McConkie explained, “Israel is an eternal people. She came into being as a chosen and separate congregation before the foundations of the earth were laid; she was a distinct and a peculiar people in the preexistence, even as she is in this sphere. Her numbers were known before their mortal birth, and the very land surface of the earth was ‘divided to the nations [for] their inheritance.’”

  1. Agency, the freedom to choose for ourselves, is like the Prime Directive in the Heavenly Realms. This is a basic right given to all of Father’s children, and He will never take it away, not in the premortal sphere (where a third of His spirit children were forced to leave because they opposed Father’s plan) and not here in the mortal sphere.

  2. God knows the end from the beginning . . . all time is present to Him, and He knows what we will do. Because of that, He has developed a life plan for each of us here in mortality. The Psalmist wrote (Psalms 139:16, Alma 40:10, Helaman 8:8, Doctrine & Covenants 42:48, 63:3, 121:25), “. . . and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.” However, we must choose to follow that plan. God’s foreknowledge does not determine what we do because of #3, so it is requisite upon us to search out and learn about our mission for this life.

    John 14:26

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your re- membrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

    M. catherine thomas

Learning that we are members of the house of Israel because we were invited into that lineage tells us a good deal about ourselves in the for- mer world. This knowledge will help us retrieve our true identities here on Earth. The scriptures and revelations ‘set forth that there are men (and women) pre-appointed to perform certain works in their lifetime and bring to pass certain ends and purposes in the economy of heaven.’ (Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, 11:253) Each of us has a role to play in the interweaving purposes of the heavenly economy.

Thomas’ writings in Selected Writings of M. Catherine Thomas are full of references to foreordination and premortal Israel, with many quotes from scriptures, prophets, and apostles.

Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ desire that you come to know and accept that you have been sent here in these end-times with a foreordained mission to perform.

James 1:5

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Once you have received a confirmation, embrace this truth and do not waver. Having a sure knowledge will help you move forward with confidence. Nevertheless, you must know that just because you were called in the premortal realm, does not mean that it will be easy for you to accomplish your mission in this life.

elder neal a Maxwell

[Premortality] is not a relaxing doctrine. For each of us, there are choices to be made, incessant and difficult chores to be done, ironies and adversities to be experienced, time to be well spent, talents and gifts to be well-employed. Just because we were chosen “there and then” does not mean we can be indifferent “here and now.” Whether foreordination for men, or fore-designation for women, those called and prepared must also prove “chosen and faithful.”

This is a serious warning, one given to Joseph Smith.

Doctrine & covenants 121:34–35

Behold, there are many called, but few are chosen. And why are they not chosen? Because their hearts are set so much upon the things of this world, and aspire to the honors of men, that they do not learn this one lesson.

Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ desire that you become successful in accomplishing your foreordained mission. Once you are awakened, they will have been waiting to tell you about it, but it is conditional upon you asking.

Doctrine & covenants 88:62–65

And again, verily I say unto you, my friends, I leave these sayings with you to ponder in your hearts, with this commandment which I give unto you, that ye shall call upon me while I am near. Draw near unto me and I will draw near unto you; seek me diligently and ye shall find me; ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Whatsoever ye ask the Father in my name, it shall be given unto you, that is expedient for you, and if ye ask anything that is not expedient for you, it shall turn unto your condemnation.

James 4:8

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you . . .

If you have already received your patriarchal blessing, begin reading it as if it were scripture, which it surely is—personal scripture. If you haven’t received it yet, prepare yourself and receive it. Study it like it is scripture. Fast and pray about what is contained in it. You will find things will become apparent to you that you never noticed before. But don’t stop there. The sons of Mosiah were men “of a sound understanding and they had searched the scriptures diligently, that they might know the word of God. But this is not all; they had given themselves to much prayer and fasting; therefore they had the spirit of prophecy and the spirit of revelation . . ..”

Some things can only be known by personal rev- elation, and your mission on this earth falls into that category. Do all that you can to find out what you are meant to do. Be humble, be grateful, and be willing to submit your will to our Lord as He submitted to our Father.

Consider asking what you need to do to be ready when you are called upon. Keep an open mind as you listen to what They have to tell you. You may be guided to learn particular skills, increase your physical strength, relocate, connect with certain people, or do other various things that you may never have considered before. Whatever you are prompted by the Spirit to do, even if it’s hard or unconventional, do it! (See Neal A. Maxwell, “Meeting the Challenge of the Day,” BYU Devotional, speeches.byu.edu).

As you obediently move forward, your path will be brightened. The dews from heaven will distill upon you, and you will come to a sure knowledge that you have been guided to enable your success. You will be a prepared and ready tool in the Lord’s hand. You will be able to stand strong in the knowledge that you were foreordained “from the foundation of the world” for this time. As you fulfill your foreordained missions in this life, you will make your calling and election (that you received in the premortal life) sure. You will prove to the Lord that He can count on you to do as He has prompted you through the Holy Ghost. Then you will be able to look forward to the day when you will receive the Second Comforter and will hear Jesus say to you, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

M. catherine thoMas, the GoD seeD, probinG the Mystery of spiritual DevelopMent, 2014

Your life’s experiences are organized for the accomplishing of your life mission.

Your mission is your path to personal fulfillment. It was arranged in the life before based on the things you wanted to learn and to contribute; it is written in your soul. So that when you are involved in what you personally came to earth to do, you may feel flashes of “Ah, this is the reason I was born.” Your mission will have things in common with many others, but the details will be personal, the particulars uniquely yours. You will know that you have come into this time and place both to learn and to make the contributions that are in your soul.

you were foreordained “from the foundation of the world” for this time.

In discovering your own mission, the scriptures, your patriarchal blessing, and the desires of your heart all provide significant clues. In addition, the calls that come to you from the Church are designed to help you to fulfill a work that you covenanted to do before this life.
