What About Job?

Job and the terrible things that happened to him are often used as a counter to healing, much like Paul's thorn (see last weeks teaching "What about Paul's Thorn"). However, God did not do to Job what we read about in the 42 chapters that make up the book. Satan was the one who initiated and executed the terrible things that happened to him. Job's confusion of why "God" had done what He did, completely ignorant of the fact that it was actually Satan, caused him to eventually justify himself rather than God (Job 32:2), something he later repented of (Job 42:6). I hope this teaching helps bring understanding to what was really happening behind the scenes for Job, and helps you believe confidently for healing, instead of always thinking or being asked "ya but what about Job".
