#43 The art and science of astrology with Rose Theodora

Rose Theodora Season 1 Episode 43

Rose Theodora is a celebrated astrologer, writer, and curator who weaves together aesthetics, science, and her intuitive understanding of astrology to help people navigate their experience in the world. Her love of art, neuroscience and psychology gives her a unique perspective on astrology, that is very accessible to understand and feel. In this conversation, we get into Rose's childhood—exposed to both the worlds of logical "hard" sciences, and the new-age/mystical perspective—from her parents and grandparents and how she never thought she'd grow up to be an astrologer! We talk about how, after studying pre-med and art history in college, she wound up working in the art world and after many years of resisting, finally realized that her true passion and career path was in astrology.

She gives us her perspective on last week's lunar eclipse, the energetic effects of eclipses in general, the recent stellium in Capricorn and how we just ended a major astrological cycle. She also helps you get started on looking at your natal chart, even if you know nothing about astrology. At the end of the conversation, she gives a few words to describes each astrology sign, which I found to be so helpful in interpreting the signs in a deeper way than most pop culture astrology does. Rose curates events, does private readings, and gives amazing insights on her social media platforms, so be sure to check out all of her offerings!
