David says that this belief makes hope unavoidable.David says even defeat will not defeat me. He reminds himself that he can dwell in the house of the Lord. Fear is dwelling somewhere else. David goes in to pray, but what does he want? Makes no requests; “I want to see you, your beauty and see you as you are.” It may begin as a discipline, but it can become your passion. “If I have you, I have power.”
