James Daubeney

S7E22 went out Live on Rebel Rock Radio at 19h00 on 30 May 2024.  South Africa is a buzz with the sound of election results being counted so while we wait for that we rocked out with all the best Rock and Metal we could squeeze into 3 hours.  I hope you enjoy the show.

The evolution of the Foo Fighters, continued, this week's track was ‘All My Life’ off the One By One album released in 2002.

This week's Twisted Triplets featured tracks called ‘The Reckoning’.  The Cult, Judas Priest, and Brides of Destruction did the honours.

Immortals this week came from Great White and a wonderful track, clocking in at 7:23, off their Psycho City album.  The track was ‘Old Rose Motel’ and it was a pleasure to listen to Mark Kendall wailing away, such a great guitarist.

The Diabolical Challenge looked at four bands beginning with the letter ‘V’.  The idea is that we have 4 albums, and you can only pick one.  This week we had:

Van Morrison – Moonlight

Venom – At War With Satan

Volbeat – Guitar Gangsters and Cadillac Blood

Van Halen - 5150

Bomb Crocodile and Slow Panda’s picks of the week were KISS – Strutter (Live) and Rise Against – Swing Life Away.’

Artists Featured: Dave Hause, Megadeth, Iron Allies, Badlands, Chickenfoot, ACDC, Ratchet Dolls, Slash (feat Chris Stapelton), Thin Lizzy, Ozzy Osbourne, Nickelback, Extreme, Kid Rock, The Cult, Judas Priest, Brides of Destruction, Cold Chisel, The Gaslight Anthem, Foo Fighters, Angra, Coheed & Cambria, Claymorean, Sebastian Bach, Risingfall, Great White, Van Morrison, Venom, Volbeat, Van Halen, Tom Petty, Tool, Hellfighter, KISS, Rise Against, Kerry King, Death
