S7E24 went out Live on Rebel Rock Radio at 19h00 on 13 June 2024.   The show was packed with great music, from Hendrix and Zeppelin to Kerry King and Dark Tranquillity.   

The evolution of the Foo Fighters, continued, this week’s track was ‘Walk’ off the most excellent Wasting Light.  This track was used to great effect at the end of Marvels Thor

Twisted Twins this week, came courtesy of The First Lady of Rock and featured tracks called ‘Blue Highway’.  We had versions by Billy Idol and by George Thorogood & the Destroyers.     

Immortals this week came from W.A.S.P., the title rack off 2015’s Golgotha.    

The Diabolical Challenge looked at four bands beginning with the letter ‘XYZ’.  The idea is that we have 4 albums, and you can only pick one.  This week we had:

Y&T – Black Tiger

Yngwie J. Malmsteen – Rising Force

Zakk Wylde – Book of Shadows

ZZ Top – La Futura

 Bomb Crocodile and Slow Panda’s picks of the week were Rise Against – Hero of War and In Flames – Save Me.
