Annie O’Connor received her BS in PT from St. Louis University in 1986 and a masters in Orthopedic PT from Northwest University in 1993. She’s also an orthopedic clinical specialist as recognized by the APTA. She’s co-authored multiple peer-reviewed studies, articles in national and international publications, and book chapters and is the co-author of her new book A World of Hurt: A Guide to Classifying Pain.

Annie lectures nationally and internationally on pain classification and intervention, neurodynamic evaluation and treatment, mechanical diagnosis and therapy of spine and extremities, kinetic chain evaluation, and functional manual therapy and exercise prescription. She was instrumental in establishing the allied health’s clinical diagnostic approach for musculoskeletal pain at Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
