In today's episode Dr. Becky Spelman talks to Peter Laneas who was initially diagnosed with Testicular cancer at the age of 26 years old in 2002, he described himself as a 'invincible young adult'.

Peter describes the initial symptoms as uncomfortable which then got progressively worse within 5 weeks. Peter goes onto describe the moment he got diagnosed and his experience of the chemotherapy treatment process. Peter explains the day he thought he would die when he was admitted to have a very serious and possibly detrimental treatment, as he explains 'I was ready to die'.

Peter speaks openly about his cancer experience and is a proud cancer survivor and is now a contributor for Elly Health an empathetic audio companion for patients living with a chronic disease, available on iphone.
