Episode 18 - Jeffrey Bryan- Stayin' Alive
My guest in this episode is Jeffrey Bryan who is not only a music lover but also a professional musician.
Born and raised in Los Angeles his music career started at a young age in the 80’s, playing clubs like The Roxy, Whisky-a-Go-Go, Madam Wongs and everywhere on the famed Sunset Strip and beyond. During this time Jeff also landed various film and TV appearances (aka Jeff Fishman) including The Karate Kid.
He is a composer, singer, keyboard player & guitar player and
is currently Keyboardist for the band Survivor, as well as playing in the brilliantly named tribute band, Robert Plantation. In the studio Jeff is composing music for several Cable TV shows as well as playing keyboards & writing for new artists.
For further background and details do take a look at his website at http://www.jeffreybryanmusic.com/
As you would expect Jeff made a series of interesting musical choices and has some great and insightful observations and stories. In his closing thoughts he says “Good music makes you feel alive “which is something I absolutely agree with. As you will hear, I was initially going to use that as the title for the episode but then I couldn’t resist the Bee Gees reference.
Enjoy 😊
