The Abyss (1989)
In this episode (recorded November 2023) Jim McClean & Joe Mc Elroy continue their retrospective of James Cameron’s back-catalogue as they look back at his 1989 feature The Abyss.
A civilian diving team is enlisted to search for a lost nuclear submarine and faces danger while encountering an alien aquatic species.
The Braid Film Theatre is screening the new 4K restoration of the film at the Strand Arts Centre on Tuesday 02 April (8pm)
