Advent - Patience

We work hard at a lot of things; our careers, hobbies, marriages, and image demand great effort. One thing easily overlooked is our spirituality and the work required to grow into a person of deep character and connection to God. Enter Advent. Over the last 2000 years, various people have relied upon Advent to make the four weeks leading up to Christmas an intentional time of focus and growth. Topics such as gratitude, patience, humility and joy are contemplated in the hope that December would be a time of growth.
