"Jacob is Sent Away." That's the title of today's episode which has Genesis 27:41-28:5 as its main text. After being deprived of his birthright and blessing by his brother, Esau wants to murder Jacob. Rebekah decides to take action to preserve her favorite son's life by convincing her husband Isaac to send Jacob far away under the pretext of being commissioned to find a suitable wife.
