Rebekah White Williams Episode 127

Rebekah White Williams joins us on the podcast to talk about the stories behind the writing of the songs MAKE ROOM and REST ON US.

Learn more about working with Rebekah for songwriter coaching and song critiques.

We are thrilled to welcome professional songwriter Rebekah White Williams (Make Room, Rest On Us) to the WW family as songwriter coach.

Rebekah White is a Nashville-based songwriter who discovered her passion for music at a young age. As a young woman, she regularly led worship in her church and in 2002 she ventured beyond the church’s walls and landed a job on tour working for the multi-platinum, alt-rock group Green Day.

This experience opened doors for Rebekah and before she knew it, she was working with artists like Justin Timberlake and Fergie. After the arrival of her son in 2012, Rebekah stepped away from her artist career and jumped into songwriting full-time.

Two of her most beloved songs she’s co-written, “Make Room” and “Rest on Us” have been recorded by multiple worship leaders and movements such as Maverick City Music, Brandon Lake, UpperRoom, Vertical Worship, and more!

Both songs are currently in the Top 50 per CCLI’s active SongSelect charts and collectively account for millions of streams between releases.
