It’s easy to find a community online and want to connect and share with others, but how much is too much? It can easily become difficult to find a balance between vulnerability and privacy, and a lot of us realize that after it’s too late. There is beauty in mystery but also in sharing. How can we find the balance between the two?
For our grown folk business this week, Dali and JQ discuss The importance of April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month. If you or someone you know Is or has dealt with sexual assault, please know it is ok to ask for help. Nobody should have to deal with a bad situation on their own, no matter how grown we are.
April is also National Poetry Month. We want to bring awareness to all of the talented writers out there as well. And we ask that you try digging deep and expressing yourself on paper. Poetry can be a beautiful form of therapy. Give it a try.
