Dr. Sandeep Mistry and Donna Lee

Thanks for tuning in to the Armor Men’s Health Hour Podcast today, where we bring you the latest and greatest in urology care and the best urology humor out there.

On Today’s episode, Dr. Mistry and Donna Lee discuss prioritizing men’s health as the year comes to an end. One thing you may be considering if you are like a lot of our listeners, is family planning and, more specifically, whether or not to have a vasectomy.

Did you know that many men are making the decision to have a vasectomy at younger and younger ages, as early as 18 years of age? To that end, Dr. Mistry shares things to consider when preparing for a vasectomy, as well as how the procedure is performed at his practice,  Urology Specialists.  His technique in-office IV sedation, a single incision (two incisions are more commonly used), and best of all guys….NO NEEDLES!!!! That’s right! No needles near those oh-so-sensitive parts (*insert sigh of relief here*).

Another concern that many patients have is how to go about treating erectile dysfunction. ED is a condition that involves the inability to achieve and maintain erections during intercourse, and is something that men can encounter at various ages. In fact, so many men experience this that many companies or websites offer a quick assessment and inexpensive medications to try and resolve the issue.

If you or someone close to you is experiencing ED, you owe it to yourself to have a full evaluation by an experienced provider. At Urology Specialists, Dr. Mistry and his team take an in-depth look at possible causes, including: hormonal testing, vascular and blood flow testing, and nerve evaluation.
