Dr.  Ashworth discusses the origins of chemotherapy, a more traditional  approach to cancer treatment, as well as developments in immunotherapy, where our body's own immune system is strengthened to fight against infections and cancers. Cancer treatment research is an ongoing process. Dr. Mistry and Dr.  Ashworth also discuss the importance of finding a doctor that is right for you. Remember, it is completely OK to seek out a second opinion before making decisions in your care. 

Cancer often affects not on the person diagnosed, but those that are near to them as well, including family members and other loved ones. For this reason, we encourage you to weight out the various options available to you and to know that you are not alone in this fight.
