Backwards Shorts: The Case of Joe Foley
On July 30th, 1998 Joe Foley, a recreational therapist, a union official and volunteer, was found murdered in his home not long after a strike by the union membership. His wife, Kathleen Foley was sleeping in the adjacent bedroom and did not hear a gun go off, nor did her next door neighbors, nor anyone in the neighborhood. It would take a forensic sound test, an electron microscope, a pair of shorts and a nightgown to explain why.
