Dan Alten started doing stand-up in Louisville, Ky., back in 2012. He studied journalism at Indiana University, but was told by a professor he should be writing comedy. A sitcom guy growing up, he decided to move to Louisville and get good at stand-up. He co-hosts the Funny Dinner podcast and travels all over the country -- even in Cookeville, Tenn.
