This affirming and validating information-sharing makes it ever so important for others to respectfully ask curious questions and share opposing feelings/beliefs in a way that does not cause offense or creates further divisive harm to our human relationships.

Every day, news headlines remind us just how much many politicians want to erase parts of our history. Despite their fruitless efforts, the many atrocities our ancestors have experienced can never be forgotten. Those legacies often become the fuel that ignites our passion for change. This rings especially true for our guest Jordan Nishizaki. Jordan will provide a glimpse into his family's history, from when they were prisoners in Japanese Internment Camps during World War II, to their triumphant return back into society, despite all odds being stacked against them.
