What do bicycles, motorcycles, tractors, agricultural machinery, cars, trucks, and airplanes all have in common? Among other things, the tire continues to be the only component that contacts the ground. And while tires only move things from point A to B, they also play a critical role in many areas. Did you ever consider how smart these tires could and really should be considering the critical role they play in safety and fuel efficiency? Today, we speak with two experts in the field - Kamakshya Prusti and Abhinav Deep Saxena from Bosch Software and Digital Solutions who will explain why we must make ourselves familiar with the huge potential there is for the tire of the future that is on our doorstep.
Connecting hundred or 200 vehicles is a pilot program is one thing but the managing a connected vehicle program for a million vehicles all over the world is another. This is where we bring in the the hyper computing and the and the IoT platform and then help them create the command center to monitor all the vehicles and all over the place. Now there’s the fourth category of OEM who having done all that things now are in an advanced stage to figure out: once I have collected all the data points, what do I do with the data? So we take them on a journey of data monetization, helping that such a way can sell the tires as a service. So they're helping the helping their customers consume the tires and an OpEx model, not as an EPIX model.
