And that is going to be no different with today's episode. So thank you for being here. I left teaching three times, almost four, and I'm going to get way deep into it in just a bit. I want to welcome everybody in because what I am going to share with you today is literally going to give you some context for your thought processes. Especially if you're thinking about walking away from your job, from your career, from the way you make money currently. And, uh, there is absolutely no way. There is absolutely no way you can make this big decision without a plan. So today we're going to take. The time to create the plan together, me and you, yes, me and you, we're going to do it together. So get your pencil, your paper, your favorite app, any way you love to take notes, your favorite beverage, your favorite drink, whether it be coffee or tea, grab it and get ready because we're about to go all the way. And I want to take my time today because I feel like there are a lot of people out there. Especially those of you who clicked on this video or who are joining this live who are in the position right now to make the very next step that is going to impact the very rest of your life. And that is concerning your income. It's not an easy thing to get the job you have. Especially if you've been there a while, especially if you have, uh, um, going through all of the steps that you need to take to, uh, bump up, glow up, grow up in that job, get a new position, a higher position, and, uh, leaving it, uh, The way that you have been thinking about is not an easy feat. So we're going to talk about today exactly what you should do, need to do, must do to prepare for that step. Now, maybe you are not want to, maybe you don't want to leave your job. Maybe you love your job. I left teaching three times, going to get to that in a bit. Actually, it was almost four, but that might not be you. You might love your job, but it still doesn't fix the money thing. What we're going to discuss today, what you are going to walk away with. Today is the exact steps that you need to take to fix your money thing. Whether you want to leave your job or if you want to stay either way, you got to break free financially. And that is what we're going to learn to do today. And I'm excited about this. So thank you so much for being here. And, uh, let's just go ahead and dive right into it. So there's a couple of things I want to. Get into and, uh, it's, it's, it's a lot of my story, but you may be able to have a mirror and, oh, my story may, may mirror where you are in your journey because I loved my job. I loved being a teacher, but I had to walk away three times, almost four for several reasons. Let's get into it. Before I tell you what had happened, what, what, what had happened, I want to. Say that whatever it is you are facing financially There is a way for you to break free And I want you to know that you can break free whether you leave your job or stay And you can do that without stress strain or struggle There is a way a way that I am going to share with you today and The reason why my caption in my thumbnail said avoid my costly mistakes Is because i've made Quite a few mistakes along the way to get to where I am now. I'm not teaching right now. I am a full time entrepreneur, a content Creator, a creator, preneur, however you want to describe it. But I left because actually there were three reasons why. And, uh, it was a big decision. It was a huge decision to become a teacher. And it was a huge decision to walk away wherever you are in your journey. Whether you are a teacher, whether you are a lawyer. Whether you are a, I don't know, contractor, whether, whatever it is you're doing in your current job. I'm talking about the job that pays you money. You have to figure out the money thing. And the way that you break away is what I'm going to share with you today. So let's go ahead and Let's, let's, let's get into it. So my teaching journey, well, here is what had happened without stress, strength, or struggle, Ms. Candy, yes, without stress, strength, or struggle. And what had happened was I have known since third grade, I would be a teacher. My mom's a teacher. My sisters are teachers. My aunts are teachers. It's a family business. And I knew in third grade, I would be a teacher. I knew. When Miss Rideau, my third grade teacher, would always pick me and give me the little change to go in the teacher's lounge and get her coke. Like, she was such an amazing person and I just wanted to I wanted to own that space where I can make another person feel intellectually, emotionally, spiritually. I wanted to be in the position that she was in to make a person feel like they were the best person in the world. And that's how she made me feel. That's how my mom approached education. Every student that she taught was family and so I wanted the, the power to do that, to impact someone. So in third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, all the way through middle school, whenever it was time to leave the school year, I would ask my teachers for all the junk they didn't want because I had one idea in mind and that was play school during the summer and I would gather all the kids in the neighborhood and I would be their teacher and what's crazy is that I would even literally Send them with homework and they did it like, yeah, it was, it was amazing. So teacher was in me and my teaching journey was amazing. Like the, the, the, it was just amazing. I would love to like map out what I want in my classroom to look like. And, uh, I would spend, uh, A lot of time way before school started, way before just setting up my classroom and it, my husband and my kids, they would come with me to help set everything up. And that was my, that was my canvas. My classroom was my canvas where I would do the work and I loved it. I loved it. Um, I even got to the point along in my career where I. Was a finalist for teacher of the year. That was one of the most proudest days, I think, because I was not only doing what I loved doing, but I was recognized for it. And that meant a lot to me. So me on the left is me and my kiddos. When I was teaching first grade, I've taught every grade first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth. And, uh, this was a typical day for me on the left. That was a typical day for me because I first needed to show my kids that they were loved, seen, and appreciated. And that is what set the stage for me to impart knowledge and information to them. I knew that I wasn't going to be able to get in their head until I got in their heart. And so this on the left was a typical day for me. And this picture on the right is the poster that was on my wall when I walked into school one day. And it says, congratulations, you are a teacher of the year finalist. And, uh, who would walk away from a job like that? Like I had to, I had to, and I'm going to get into it in a bit. Maybe you love your job. Maybe it's something that you worked hard for, whether you are a contractor or an attorney or an architect or a teacher or the greeter at Walmart, whatever you do. For an income you might love, but you also might have to make a decision to walk away because it's just not fixing the money thing, the money thing. Meaning it's not fixing the money thing. Meaning, let me just, let me just say this to you because it's important. The money thing, meaning it's. Not fixing the money thing right now. In other words, it's, in other words, it's not paying for your life. Now, the money thing, meaning it's not going to create the legacy wealth that you need, not only for your future, but for your children's children's. Children's children's future. And the responsible thing to do is to create the legacy wealth that they deserve, not only what you want right now for what, for the life that you want to live right now. And so leaving without stress, strain or struggle is my goal today. That is to get you to the place where you can do that. And I have a plan for you. I have. The plan. So stick with me, stay till the end because we're going to work this out together. I'm going to show you exactly what to do to make this happen. Did you know that there are people out there literally like, and, and it's, it's, it's really sad. It's really sad to say, it really is. It's really sad to say, but 70 percent of Americans right now can't afford their life. And these are the people that are, that are working. These are the people that are working overtime and they still can't afford their life. No, they may not be homeless. No, they may not be walking because they're working hard for the things that they have. But the problem is, is that affording their life means that they have to work double. They have to work when they don't feel like it. They have to work stressed. They have to work tired. Struggling, no family time, no relationships are working because they have to afford their life and that's just not a way to live. I mean, if you're going to do the job that you love, at least let it be in a way that gives you the peace and the prosperity and the powerful opportunities to help others. At least let it provide that and if that's not the life you're living, if you're just living to pay bills so that you can live in the house that you want to live in, or that. For you to drive the car that you want to drive, maybe even car you can't afford. If you're working for those things, there's more to life than that. There's more to life than that. And if you clicked on this video or if you're watching the replay and you're still watching, you get me. You see what I'm saying? You feel what I'm feeling that there's gotta be a better. Way and the plan that we're going to create today for you is gonna give you the opportunity to stay doing what you love, but break free financially or leave doing what you love and break free financially. I'm that girl that had to leave. I'm gonna tell you why. I'm gonna tell you why. So I absolutely, I absolutely loved teaching. I absolutely loved teaching and. I left for three reasons. I left three times, almost four. And, uh, I left in that journey for three reasons. I left because I had to pursue and unpack the purpose that teaching didn't fulfill, even though I really loved it. Seven years in, I started feeling like there were more layers to me and my teaching career didn't satisfy that part. Even though I know I was created to teach the kids that I taught. 18 years, I was in the classroom and I positively impacted I intentionally and hopefully positively impacted every single one in the 18 years that I taught. But seven years in, something started shifting, something started changing, and I knew that there was something more. So the first reason I left teaching is because I needed to pursue my purpose. And then over time, As I began to navigate what that other part of me that I needed to pursue outside of the classroom, as I began to navigate a real passion for business started emerging and oh my God, when I left the second time, it wasn't because I needed to pursue To pursue another layer of purpose in my heart, because I did that when I left and that was business. But as I began to grow business, I began to get a true passion for it. Like as I began to write my first book and start taking on clients and be on the stage at speaking engagements, the purpose grew into a passion and I loved it, like, I consumed it. See all the books behind me, read every last one of them. And that's just the ones that would fit on my shelf. I consumed business, everything I could grab about business. I loved it. And the first book that I read that kind of fueled that passion was Rich Dad, Poor Dad. If you didn't read the book, you need to get it. It is life changing. And so from there I started reading books like click on how to connect with people. I read books like E myth by Michael Gerber, who taught me that the system is the solution. Like that book literally told me how to work on my business, work in my business. Like everything that I teach in my cura circle, my community for women of faith online entrepreneurs, I literally teach systems and how to create the system. So, um, My purpose, yes, my passion. And then the third time I left, it was because I saw a profit opportunity in the market. I returned to teaching because I needed to, but I left because it was the difference between fulfilling the destiny. I needed to feel that wasn't going to happen in the classroom. It just wasn't going to happen there. My entire purpose could not be colored by a classroom teacher. My passion for business could not be colored by a classroom teacher and the profit opportunities that I found in the market could not be colored by being a classroom teacher. And it was very difficult for me to leave, but it was something that I just had to do. Now, let me take you through each. Each area, each path, the purpose, the passion and the profit opportunity, because you might see yourself in where I am or where I was on my path. And if you see yourself, then that's good because it's going to give you a path. It's going to give you a foundation to make the steps that we're going to talk about in just a bit. And I just love, thank you, miss candy without stress. Strain or struggle. Yes, ma'am. I'm just going to leave this on the screen. I got to do it. Yes, Miss Candy, you get it. You get it. Because there is absolutely no reason to have stress, strain, or struggle in life when there is a path to take. So, let me go through each path. Let's talk about path number one. One. Let's put Ms. Candy back on the screen because I just love her. All right, so your purpose. Your purpose is literally derived from who you are and why you are here. Those two things equal your purpose. Who you are and why you are here. And, uh, if you are fortunate enough to walk in your purpose in the job that you have, I'm super excited for you. Like if who you are and why you are here is to be a gardener. And, uh, that be and being a gardener fulfills who you are, like who you are and why you are here, great. If the job that you have. Isn't fulfilling your purpose and it's just for money. Don't leave it yet because nobody said it better than Ms. Candy. And I love the way she said this. She says, how does I wrote it down? She says, you have to mind the business that pays you first. It's candy. When you said that friend, it meant something. So thank you for sharing. Thank you for sharing that because you do have to mind the business that pays. First, but it's not the only business you have to mind because at some point you may have to navigate from it, but pay attention to that first because, and I'm going to get into this in a bit in the plan that we're going to create. But if the job that you're in doesn't, Satisfy your purpose, who you are and why you're here. You can keep it and still find the path to get to that purpose based work that you do. We're going to talk about that in just a bit. So who you are and why you are here. So who you are is derived from two things is derived from your gifts. And your abilities, you can tell a lot about who you are based on your gifts and your abilities. And if your gift is like something that you can do, it's an ability that you have that nobody ever taught you how to do that ability can be implemented in your purpose and, or your job. The, the, the, the, the. The creme de la creme is, uh, one, one, one is, um, they're one in the same, they're one in the same, your purpose, who you are and why you are here and what you do is one in the same, but if they are not and you found a way to do something in your job that you love to pay your bills, do that, but I'm telling you right now, there is another side of you that has to be To be focused on. It has to be intentional in your life because working a job that you don't love just to drive the car that you drive or just to live in the house that you live in, although driving. And, uh, shelter are necessary. If you got to find another outlet for your purpose, if the job that you have is giving you what you need, they're ever going to tell you to leave your job. Like Miss Candy says, mind the business that pays you first. But what I am saying is that don't give up on pursuing the thing that gives you purpose. Don't give up on that. Pay your bills. But don't give up the thing that gives you purpose. What I'm proposing to you today is to find a thing that gives you purpose and an income. Cause baby, when you find that you're on to something and I'm going to show you just how to do it. Do that. So the second reason why I left, so I left, I left, um, about seven years in. Um, I started teaching in 1998 and in 2007, I started feeling like there was something more to my purpose than just being a teacher. And it just, it pulled on me. It was, wouldn't let me go. It wouldn't let me go. That was the year that I wrote my first book. And, uh, that was the year that I started my first business. And so by the end of that school year, in 2008, I walked away to just really pursue that other thing that I felt. I felt it so strong. And so after 2008, when I left, I went back because I needed to go back and then I. I had to leave again, I had to leave again. And the second time I left was for a different reason. I had already pursued the purpose that I was feeling, but the thing that I went to, the thing that I grabbed when I left, which was business, I became more and more and more passionate about it. I started loving it. I started loving it as much as I loved teaching. Be it. I did. And I became passionate about it. And I think I finally realized why the reason why I became so passionate about it, because I got that same feeling that I got when I was teaching in the classroom, I got that same feeling. I got that same feeling of empowering and inspiring another human being by gravitating and uh, earning the space in their heart. And then I, on that space, I will use that foundation to impart knowledge and information. The only difference is, is that I was teaching people my own height. Like I didn't have to become a different person. I could still be the teacher that I needed to be, but the space, the platform, the, the, the, the platform that I stood on just looked a little bit different. And, uh, it allowed me to To impact more than just in the space of a classroom. It allowed me to enlarge my territory and impact more people. So that's why I became so passionate about it. I was like, I love business. I love teaching women of faith, how to monetize their knowledge, how to create systems so that they could create the legacy. Well, so that they can leave the job that they don't love anymore and still create an income from them. For themselves, not only an income friends, but an opportunity to build a legacy. Wealth. Like I get to do that. I left the second time because it became my passion. It, and a passion is a strong desire for your devotion. I'm sorry, a strong divide desire or a devotion to an activity or a concept business for me was, uh, was, uh, it became the air that I breathe. I. I am so very passionate about it because I know what it can do. It can provide a platform for you to fulfill your purpose. It can provide a platform for you to pursue your passion. Business can provide a platform for you to build a legacy for your children and your children's children and your children's children. Well, you should set up a trust fund of money that they can live on and grow and become more of who they were created to be. Remember, Ms. Candace said it, where is she? Where is it? Where is it? Where is it? Literally. Without stress, strain, or struggle. That, that is our, that is our goal today. My goal today is for you to walk away with a plan for you to live your life. Break free financially without stress, strain, or struggle. And remember you can do this, the plan that we're going to talk about. You can do this, whether you leave your job. Or whether you stay, you can stay, you can stay. But if your job is not creating your legacy wealth, if your job is not giving you a platform to fulfill your purpose, if your job is not giving you a platform to pursue your passion, then stay. If you want to stay, not saying don't stay. What I am saying is that the plan that we put in place today is going to give you an opportunity to do those three things. Leave or stay, leave or stay. Okay. So the third reason why I left was because there was an opportunity in the market and I want to take some time to deep dive here because y'all, so when I left the third time, When I left the third time, something changed because when I left the third time, I knew I wouldn't be returning. And I'm going to tell you why. The third time I left teaching was because there was a real profit opportunity in the market. And I started seeing how this creator business Industry was working like it really works. The creator economy is a billion dollar industry. Billion with a B and, uh, the profit opportunity for me, knowing what I know, learning what I've learned, knowing that I have a purpose in business, knowing that I have a passion for business, the profit opportunity just made sense. It clicked for me. But this time when I left, I knew I wouldn't be returning. And that was very difficult, but I had to do it. And I'm going to tell you why. So in my. Thumbnail it said left teaching three times almost four and then it said Avoid my costly mistake. The costly mistake I made is this. So when I left teaching the first time, I took out my retirement. Now taking out my retirement wasn't the mistake. It's what I did with it that was the mistake. I did not turn that. Money into more money. I did not turn it into a income generating opportunity I did what dave ramsey say most people do I started spending money like I was in congress Because I was so gung ho about business. When I left the first time I bought everything I didn't need. I didn't understand at the time that everything that I needed to grow my business, to grow as a content creator was right here. But I wanted the look of it. I wanted to look like I was a big time business owner. So this is what I did. I took my retirement and I I went and got an office that cost a lot of money. Oh, that's not all. That's not all. That's not all. Not only did I do that, I had the, I paid for an elaborate brand. Package, logo, uh, tagline, um, letterhead. Um, I even had my elaborate logo that I paid a lot of money for. I even had it installed on the front door of my office. Honey, I was big time going, no, Fast. I bought the best chair I could find. I bought the best, uh, office equipment that I can find. I built the, I had, I had you, you name it. I had it, but here's the problem. Here's how you can avoid the mistake that I made. The sign on my front door. The, I'm sorry, the, the brand labeling on my front door, the best chair, the office equipment, the office itself, all the things that I bought didn't bring me a dime because what I really needed was a way to monetize what I knew I did have a book. Because by that time I had authored my first book and I was doing some coaching. So I was making some money through business. So I proved my, my, I had my proof of concept. So I began to make a little money, but the, but the money that I spent was ridiculous. And not only was it money that I spent, it was the money that was supposed to be for my later life. Used it. Oh, I spent it. Oh, I love it. I love it. Like this is what, this is what, this is how I'm gonna end that. I spent. It all. Yeah, all of it gone. And so the costly mistake that I made that I'm going to help you not make is coming up in just a bit on what you can do differently and still pursue breaking free financially and still pursue it, even if you stay. So what does that. What does that look like? Well, here's what that looks like. Let me show you. So when I left to, Oh, I want to tell you one more thing before I go to this, because it's, it's important. It's, it's super important. Hold on. I want to tell you one more thing. One just give me five seconds to tell you one more thing about me leaving the third time. So, When I left the third time I was, oh yeah, I was telling you that I knew I wouldn't be returning and I want to get to the steps and what you need to do. The screen that you just saw, I'm going to get you that in just a bit, but this is so very important because it's going to lead to the information that I'm going to share you is going to make it make more sense. Left the first time for my purpose, good decision, poor decision spending all of my retirement money. Left the second time for my passion, good decision, because I learned how passionate I am about business. And I fueled that passion by learning more and more about business, which actually helped me become a better coach, a better speaker, a better content creator, a better community host. Now I can teach everyone in my community, Teach everyone who gets my courses, teach everyone who I'm speaking to, just how to do what I did because it worked for me, fulfilling that passion, fueling that passion literally worked because it fueled my business. It helped my business grow. Third time I saw a profit opportunity in the market, and that was the content creator. The content creator industry where people were making millions based on what they knew. But this time when I left, I left because of that opportunity, but I knew I couldn't leave again. And here's how, when I started looking at my finances and where I am now in my business, at the time I was still teaching, that was the time right before I left for the third time, I started looking at, looking at, okay, well, I can do this. Leave. Let me see what my options are for retirement. So I taught. 18 years. Most of those years in Louisiana, it was the years in Louisiana, my retirement there that I retrieved my, uh, my retirement when I moved to Georgia, I taught here as well. And so I accumulated time in that retirement. as well. The only problem is, is because I took out my retirement in Louisiana. I didn't have anything to roll over to my Georgia time. So, so working here in Georgia, I had to start from scratch to build toward my retirement. Here's where it gets very interesting. When I looked into my retirement for my teaching here, I discovered that I needed to teach 10 years to be vested to receive a retirement. Okay. I was, I had taught four years at the time. Now, keep in mind, there's a profit opportunity. And that is why I left for the third time. And, uh, I knew that I could do it. I knew that. I could be a part of this billion dollar industry. And if I can just get 1 percent of that billion, that was enough for me to do what I needed to do and create my legacy wealth. Because I'm really good at systems. I'm really good at motivating. I'm really good at inspiring. And I'm not saying that because I'm being boastful or arrogant, I just understand my gifts, my talents. I understand my abilities and I understand how I can use that for my creator business. So. That, that profit opportunity in the market that I'm seeing, I'm like, well, I, I, I fit there. I fit there. Like it's a part of, of, of, of. Of who I am, of my purpose, my passion and a profit opportunity. I'm gone. Okay. Even though I knew I had to leave teaching to do it, but here's why I knew I wouldn't return. When I did the work to look at my finances and see where I stood, it is in terms of retirement, I learned that. Like I said, just a few minutes ago, I would have to teach 10 years. I was only four years in. So I had to ask myself, okay, do I want to teach six more years? Okay. What does that look like? Okay. My business is going good. I'm excited. It's fulfilling my purpose. It's contributing to my passion and I fit in this profit opportunity. There is everything. Start checking out. Do I really want to teach six more years? Well, here's how I made that decision. This is when it got uncomplicated. This is when it stopped being hard to leave. As much as I love teaching as much as I love being a classroom teacher, I did the calculations and to teach six more years. With the four years that I already had, my retirement benefit would be 1, 800. So my future self, my 60 year old self said, are you losing your ever loving mind? Do you really want to give six years of your life to make 1, 800 when you know for a fact that the business that you have has a profit opportunity in the Plus it fulfills your purpose. Plus it contributes to your passion, make a choice. So what I decided to do was I decided to leave the third time because I knew that I had something that could not only pay for my life, but it could also create a legacy wealth for Timothy Andrew. Sorry, friend. Timothy, Andrew, and Victoria. It could do that. Let me just put my devices on. Do not disturb. Because I forgot to do that. All right. So how far am I in? I am 37 minutes in. Okay. So I had to make a choice. My 60 year old self said, baby girl, I know you love it. I know you love teaching, but what can you do with six years? What can you do in six years to quadruple 1, 800 that they're going to pay you. Now I know someone is probably out there saying, well, it's worth the six years. You can't go wrong getting 1, 800. But here's the thing. I knew that I could make this business work. I knew it. I knew it. And I wanted to give myself a chance where I can single mindedly Focus on just growing my creative business. And, uh, even though when I left the first time I walked away as an author, when I walked away the second time I, I left, I left when I, when I walked away the first time I left as an author and a speaker and a coach, when I left the second time I walked away as an author, speak, speaker, coach, and, uh, I. Add it to my lock, which I call a LOC, a leveled offer channel. I add to that lock and add until your lock gives you more of a, it builds on your revenue model. So now I'm not just an author, a speaker and a coach. I'm an author, a speaker. A coach, a course creator. I can monetize my YouTube channel. I'm not there yet, but I'm going to get there. Plus I, now, I don't know how to work and be an affiliate. That's another part of my revenue model. Plus my merch, because I can do merchandise. I started that process and it was an epic fail, but I'm going to get into it again, because it's worth it. What I'm saying to you is this. I knew that I had. Five different parts of my revenue model that was going to be worth my time. And it was, and it was going to way outweigh 1, 800 a month. That is all the teaching industry could give me for the unlimited work that I did as a teacher. That that's just not good enough because there are so many things that I want to accomplish financially. And here's the thing, here's the thing. 1, 800 can't pay for my life. I mean, I didn't even have a lavish life making the money that I made as a teacher. And it was three times that much. And I still didn't drive a Bentley. I still didn't vacation in Italy. Right? I still didn't buy another Dooney and Burke purse. Like I only buy once a year. You can only buy one Dooney and Burke purse. A year on the teacher salary. And that might be outlandish. The point I'm making is my 50 year old, my 60 year old self said, you got something in your hand. Let's go for that. And that is why I left the last time because there was a profit opportunity in the market. And I was all, and I was already well on my way. Now in the title, I know I talked about Almost four a year before I actually left, I resigned because I really, I was like, I'm ready. I got, I gotta go. I gotta, I gotta get, I gotta get to my desk. I gotta create more things. I gotta help more people. I got it. And I resigned, but I knew that it wasn't time. I heard it in the shower. It's not time. And I was like, okay. So I called my principal of a few weeks after I resigned. I mean, when I tell you resign, I'm talking about paperwork in, All my junk in my car, all my cash and stuff was getting ready to get to the storage unit, friends, and God said it wasn't time. And so, I listened to that voice, I called my principal, and I said, I know I resigned, but I have to come back, I have to do this, I have to continue on with being a teacher. She had already Fulfilled my second grade teaching position, but she had a fifth grade opening and that's the grade I took. It was the most difficult year I have ever taught for a lot of reasons, but the main reason was because I, I, I thought, I thought that I was, from my teaching career, and I wasn't, there were a lot of things that went well that year. There were a lot of things that didn't. I learned a lot. The most important thing for me was I don't want to get in the way of my students being who they were created to be. I have to learn how to be the best teacher I can be in this grade. And so I gave it my all. But I worked my business at the same time. I worked my business in the evenings and on weekends. And it was so hard. It was so hard because I didn't want to have do being a teacher. I would never disrespect the industry in that way. I couldn't do that. But I also didn't want to have step in my business. I had to be a hundred percent on both sides. And I'm telling you right now, I called, I have a blog on this, on my website, and I call it how to be an EE. And that is an, uh, employee and an entrepreneur. And if you are there, if you are an employee and an entrepreneur, you got to give both sides your best. Look, it's not easy. It is extremely challenging, but you have to do it. And here's how I'm going to say this now, before I move on to the plan that we're going to create. So you can walk away without what Miss Candy. Stress, strain, or struggle. Yes, ma'am, I promised you a plan and I'm going to give it to you, but I want to say this to you first. If you are in a position where you are an EE, an employee and an entrepreneur, you have to work both at a hundred percent. And it's not realistic for you to be a hundred percent all the time, but be a hundred percent intentionally in your head and in your heart. And here is how I did it. I decided before the school year started when I decided to go back that last time or when I, yeah, when I had to go back that last time. I decided what kind of teacher I wanted to be and what that took. And I wrote that down. I decided what kind of entrepreneur I wanted to be. And I wrote that down and I refer to it continually, especially when I got really. When I was struggling mentally and physically, I was exhausted. I was most tapped out a lot, but because I wrote the vision for both sides, I would go back to it and that would recharge me. And here's what that looks like. I wrote down what are my responsibilities as a teacher. Okay, what do I have to do as a teacher? And then I created a plan to make sure I got that done. So, I would work during my lunch period to make sure that I was putting my grades in, that I was grading papers, that I was responding to parents. Because I knew that I needed to leave no later than 3. 30 to do, to get to my home, to get to work. Transition to work out to get all the energy out from being a teacher, get dinner done, get, get, get to my desk so I can work my other job from five to nine, my other job being my business. So I didn't know how to, I would not have known how to make the employee side work if I had not first decided. What does that look like? What is the vision of being 100 percent as an employee look like? And what do I have to do to make sure that happens? I created a schedule, right? So I wasn't hanging out in the hallways during my planning periods. I was planning. I didn't have to work on my lesson plans at home. I worked on my lesson plans in my planning period, right? Um, got to work early, made sure that everything was ready for the day. It was just the little things that made sure that I was 100 percent on the employee side. Then I looked at my. Entrepreneur side. What do I need to do to make sure I'm a good entrepreneur? I'm a great entrepreneur. I'm 100 percent as an, as an entrepreneur. What does that look like? Okay. I know I have to work in my business and I know I have to work on my business. Okay. Working in my business means doing the tasks, everyday tasks to make the business run. Okay. Up updating my website. Building a course, reaching out to customers, uploading on social, preparing for my podcast. Then I had to make sure I worked on my business. Okay. What do I want my business to do in five years? How much do I want it to make it five years? What do I want to have in my lock? I live on offer channel. What is my mission? What is my vision? How does my business work? So I worked on the business to decide and determine how my business works. And then I worked in the business daily to make sure that I'm implementing all the things. Doing all the things to fulfill what I said it should look like. And so I did that for a whole school year y'all. And the only way I made it is because I doubled down on my entrepreneur. Tasks every time we had a holiday for labor day, president's day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Martin Luther King birthday, spring break. You name it. I was working on my business. I didn't go on vacations. My family was going on vacation. My mom, my sister said, can you go? No, sure. Can't. I cannot go because I have to work because I knew that I had to make up some time from not being able to work in my business like I do now. I'm full time. I'm full time. So I had to make sure I got those things done. So here is how you're going to break free financially. Let's talk about the steps. Okay. So let's say for instance, you are, how am I doing on time? Okay. It's 47 minutes in. Let's look at how to break free financially. All right. So I want to set the stage with, um, I want to set the stage with, uh, We're back to the slide that we were on. Okay, so, uh, hold on. Oh, this is my notes for the podcast. It's not the one we need. Let me go to the one we need. So side note, this is how I prepare for my podcast. This is an app called craft. And so I write my title, my subtitle, the web URL, where people can actually connect to it. Then I add my thumbnail because adding that thumbnail gives me that extra bit of push that Extra bit of inspiration to keep it going and then I'll write my outline and how everything goes This is yeah, that's it. But that's not what you need to see. You need to see so i'm gonna go to Uh logistics i'm gonna go to These are all my episodes that I have planned Planned out or, or right now planning that's coming up in the future. And so every episode has a card and every card lays out like next week is how to operate for impact. That's the episode for next week, but this is the one we're on now. And so wait a minute, hold on. That's not what I need. I need, let me find it. Let me find it. Uh, Let's just go home and there it is. Here it is. Okay. So here is how we are going to create our plan. We're going to do it together. So here's where you want to get your. Pencil your paper, your favorite notes apps, take a sip of water because I'm going to go through it and you're going to walk away with the plan that you could implement should you choose to do it. So the first thing I want to say is we're going to do something great here. Okay, we're going to do something great here. Let's do something great here. The fastest way to break free financially is by being a content creator. So if you're already working a job, And you want to stay or you need to stay because you are the breadwinner or because you are a partner in your financial relationship or because you just really like it. You need to make sure you create a space to do that. But what we're doing right now is creating a space to build that legacy wealth so that you can break free financially without stress, strain or struggle. This is not you getting another degree. This is not you trying to beat out everybody else on your job for the next promotion. That's not what this is. This is you creating another space to rescue your finances. That's what this is. If you're ready for this, if you're all on board, I mean, let me know in the chat. Yes, let's do it. If you are willing to do the work, let me know in the chat, you want this. Right now. And you are all, all layers. All right, so let's do something great. All right. So there are seven opportunities for you to be a content creator. And I know you're thinking, but I'm not a content creator. Yes, you are. You know, something that somebody is willing to pay you for because it either helps them solve a problem. It helps them achieve a goal or it brings them to their happy place. That's the reason why people spend money. They either need to. They either have a goal they want to achieve, they either have a problem that they want to solve, or they want to get to their happy place somehow. That's why Disney World is a billion dollar corporation. They wanna get to their happy place somehow, right? That is why, um, apple is a billion dollar company because it, it does both. It solves a problem. And it helps people achieve a goal, right? What you have to offer is good enough. You are good enough. You're smart enough. Let's do something great. So here's how it works. There are seven creator driven opportunities for you to be a content creator. You can have a subscription, a digital product or coaching, a membership, consulting, speaking. Or subscription ship, a subscription ship is kind of a merge. It's a hybrid, hybrid between a subscription and a membership. It's kind of like what I have. I have what I call a subscription ship. My secure circle is a membership because people can join it and have synergy and collaborate and connect and help each other succeed, but it's also a subscription because there are, there's content that they can access and content that I continually put out that they can only get through this membership. Portal. So it's a subscription ship. So what I would love for you to do is think about what you know a lot about. What you know a lot about. What can you help someone else do? Can you help them? Can learn more how to garden? Can you help them run a marathon? Can you help them bake sweet potato pies? Can you help them, um, stop thinking negatively all the time? Can you help them homeschool their children? Can you help them, um, learn how to build a house? Can you learn, can you help them fix their carburetor? Can you help them, um, become more confident? Can you help them find a mate? Can What do you know a lot about that? You can help. That is what we're going to frame our break free financially path on. You are going to become a content creator. And if you're already one, you're going to become a better content creator so that what you do to help others can support your break free financially path. It's going to be without stress, strain, or struggle. And I'm going to tell you why, because when you look at this graphic and you say, okay, which one is the best fit for me? You're going to base your choice on your gifts and your talents. You're going to base it on your ability. If you. Are terrified about being on stage and you don't, and you would never touch a microphone ever in your life. Speaking might not be for you, but if you love writing and you are really good, if you were the person that everybody went to in college or in high school to help write their papers, then you know what, you're Creating a digital product might be good for you. A digital product, meaning a ebook or a course or a, um, a guide, a guide book, anything that is written content that people can use to solve their problem, to achieve a goal or bring them to their happy place. You fit somewhere on this grid and what it looks like is just a guide. Starting. It doesn't have to be anything elaborate. Just start. As a matter of fact, I have a surprise event coming up soon that can literally help you jumpstart that in a very little amount of time, and I'm gonna talk about that more in the upcoming days. But, so, but as for today, the way you're gonna break free financially is that you are going to decide, I am gonna turn my knowledge into. Well, I'm going to turn my passion into a profit. I'm going to turn what I know, you're going to take that knowledge of yours and you're going to monetize it. Okay. And so here's what that looks like. Let me tell you how real it is. Let's say for instance, you don't love speaking. You don't love the stage, but you're really good at writing content and you're really good at Gardening, like you have turned your yard into a garden that people from around the world come and they will be willing to pay you just to take a glimpse at your hydrangeas. I'm just saying, all right. So you are an amazing gardener. There are a lot of people who love gardening, who are just not good at it and they need direction. They need information. And so you. Are really good at writing and you're going to catalog you're going to write you're going to Script everything, you know About gardening and what you did to make your hydrangeas and your roses and your tulips so beautiful More beautiful than anybody else's and even though everybody on your street has the same kind of rotten grass For some reason yours is working and you figure out how All right. So everybody on your street and everybody who's having challenges with growing their garden, guess what? They're going to look to you because you put everything, you know, into a course. Now, writing a course is not as terrifying as it looks. As a matter of fact, I can show you how. But that's not what we're doing today. I don't want to deep dive into how to write a course. I want to, I want to give you the opportunity to see what the process looks like to break free financially. We're getting ready to walk into our plan. All right, here we go. How are we doing 56 minutes in? Okay, we're almost wrapping up. Okay. So here's what it looks like. So the average course in the industry costs between 197 and 497. Okay. At the low end, let's say for instance, your course is a three week course. It's a six week course and you're charging 197. If 25 people paid you 197 and I know 25 people can pay 197 for your And I can share with you how I won't deep dive, how to get to these people. I won't deep dive, how to make the transaction where they actually pay you the one 25 to pay you the one 97. I'm just telling you what's possible because I've seen it happen. I have done it. I have taught my. Clients how to do it. I have taught people how to do it. So just you got to trust me. It's possible All right So at 197 times 25 people you are make you have made four thousand nine hundred and twenty five dollars If you can get 25 people to do that every month, you're gonna make four thousand nine hundred twenty five dollars a month Now at the high end, let's say for instance you charge or the mid end I should have called this the mid end because some courses cost way more than that. So let me just change this to mid end. Mid at the mid end. Let's say you charge 4 97. If you get the the same 25 people or a different 25 people. If you get 25 people either way to pay you 4 97, now you made$12,425 with 25 people. 25 people, okay? If you, let's give another scenario here. If you charge at the high end and you charge 9 97. Times 25 people. Now you've made get my handy dandy calculator here. I did teach math, but I'm not getting rid of my head. Whoops. So let's see if you can do it before me. Who can do it before me? Let me see. All right. 9 97 times 25. That is a total of 24, 000. Okay, 24, 000. Thank you, God. 24, 925. Here's the path. Here's the plan for you to break free financially. Okay? So the first thing I want you to do The first thing I want you to do, I'm going to type this in right here. Number one, I want you to know your numbers. Now, what kind of numbers am I talking about? This is the number you need, the total number you need to live your life. Let's start there. That's the first step to break free financially, to live your life, to live your life, that is the very first thing I want you to do, and let's go ahead and make this bigger like that. All right. So here's the plan. The plan, the plan, the plan that y'all used to, do y'all remember that show? Fancy Island, the little, the little guy who got the plane, the plane, but this, in this case, it's the plan, the plan. All right. So the very first thing I want you to do is know your numbers. That is the total whoops, the total number you need to live your life. Why is this three? All right. That's first. Okay. And, uh, the second thing I want you to do, once you get that number, Once you get that number, I want you to do an analysis. So I want you to analyze, whoops, analyze the amount you bring home, amount you, that's the amount you earn from your job and determine, whoops. If your earned income from your job can pay for your life. That's the first, that's the second thing I want you to do. So let's go ahead and make that bigger. That's the second thing. So first know your numbers. So let me just make this, let me just customize this so that, so know your numbers, that's going to be bold and then analyze. Your income, analyze your income. This is so important to stick with me here. I'm going to show you how to break free financially. This is part of that process. All right. So then analyze your income. Yep. Analyze your income. That's bold that, and then the third and final step after you, and I remember you're analyzing your income. To decide if the amount of money you bring home actually pays for the life that you, that you decided, or you, or you learned that you need, does it reflect, or does it take care of the amount of money that you need to live the life that you have? Okay. Then you're going to have to, after that point, Decide, you're going to decide, make a decision. That's the third step. You're going to make a decision. I'm going to tell you what that decision is. The next thing you're going to do is decide, decide how you are going to, or so how you will pay for your life plus, this is the big part, plus your legacy wealth. And what is that going to look like to get that done? All right, you're going to make a decision. Here are your options. When you make that decision, you are either going to. Okay. Cause you already know how much it talks. You already know how much it costs to live your life. You already know how much you bring in as an income. Okay. You have to decide, okay, from my income, it pays just enough to live my life, or it doesn't even pay enough to live my life. Right. Or I'm making more than I need to live my life. My question to you is this, do you make enough to live your life plus your legacy wealth? Because if you don't make enough to, to, if you don't make enough to live the life you're living, or break even, or if it's enough to actually live your life, but it doesn't include your legacy wealth, you, wealth, you have to make a decision. And that decision is going to include, include, either you are going to decrease, decrease your life, lifestyle, to fit, your legacy wealth. This is so good. Decrease your lifestyle to fit your. Earned income. I'm going to say earned employee income. Come on here, somebody. Or, or you're going to increase your income through a creator business. These are your options. You have two options. All right. So here's what that looks like. I'm going to come back to the screen and just kind of explain this a little bit more so that you can see exactly What you need to do here. Okay. So, uh, I am going to come back to screen for just a second. All right. So here's what it looks like. Okay. Here's what it looks like. Here's what it looks like. All right. You are going to get a piece of paper and you are going to write down all of your expenses. All of your expenses, house, housing, car, utilities, eating out, vacations, kids, college, everything your life pays for. If you don't know what that is, look at your bank statement. It is a direct reflection of what you're doing with your money, okay? And if you're in debt, look at your credit card statements. Because that's paying for you too. So you need a total number of how much it costs you to live your life as it is right now. Not your dream life, your right now life. Once you come up with that number, let's say that number is 7, 000 a month. It takes you 7, 000 a month to live the life you live right now. Not your dream life, not the extras, just the life you currently have. And then you look at your income and your income says, let's look at scenario one and scenario two. Let's say person a let's call her. Uh, Betty, let's say Betty, her, her monthly expenses is 7, 000 a month. And no, what did I say? What'd I say it was? Does anybody know what I say it was? Uh, 5, 000. Okay. Let's go with 5, 000. Cause I don't remember what I said. Okay. Let's say for instance, it's your living expenses is, I think I said 7, 000. I think I said 5, 000. I don't know. Let's say your expenses are 5, Okay. 5, 000 a month is how much it costs to live your life. And let's look at Betty and let's look at Nancy. Okay. Betty has 5, 000 worth of expenses and Nancy has 5, 000 worth of expenses. Betty makes. 3, 000 a month. Now I understand why she's in so much credit card debt because she's using her credit card to compensate for the other 2000 that she doesn't have. Okay. So not only does Betty not have enough money from her employee income to support her life. She doesn't have nowhere near the money. She needs to live her dream life, go on vacation, help people, kids, college education. Okay. Now, Nancy, she, she also, she also needs 5, 000 a month to live, but she makes 6, 000 a month. You would think that she has a thousand dollar surplus. Okay. Maybe she does, but that, but do you think that thousand dollar surplus is going to pay for her dream life? Her kids, college education, her. Whatever it is she wants besides beyond in addition to how much it takes for her to live her life. So they both have an option. Both Betty and Nancy are really good at gardening. What I'm proposing is what I'm proposing is make the decision to let's go back to the screen, let's go back to the screen, make the decision to launch a creator And, uh, write a course, create a course, make the decision first to find, uh, the way to create more money for your life. The way that I'm sharing with you can happen because I'm telling you it can happen. It's happening right now. For me, and it's happening for the people that I coach, it's happening for the people that I share, I will share this in an elevator. I just love this so much because it is a way out. Here's why it's no stress, no strain, no struggle to do this because you got me because I am going to take you through every step of the way on how to get. The income you need just by monetizing that knowledge of yours. I'm going to tell you everything you need to do. It is going to work. All you have to do is make the decision, but you can't even make the decision until you know your numbers. Like we get so numb as a society, we get so numb just going through the days in and the days out of our lives, not even paying attention to something, not being enough, not even paying attention to the fact that my, 10 years down the road is not even taken care of financially because we're numb. We're numb and we're tired, but I'm telling you today, I'm giving you hope. I'm giving you an opportunity. I'm giving you the plan to break free financially without stress, strength, strain, or struggle. And you can do this. One or two ways. You can do this while you work or you can leave like me. Either way, you need to create a space to live the life you actually want to live and not just spend your time paying for the life you have. Yeah. Yeah. It really does work. Work it is working for me. I'm not a millionaire yet. I won't lie to you and say that I am I don't have all the people in my business that I want to have buy my products But it but it's but what I did is working what I have built so far It's working because I'm able to show that there is a proof of concept that people Like me who want to walk away from teaching, I want to walk away from that job who need a path to do that. I was able to walk away because I created something. I launched something and people need it. There's a profit opportunity in the market friends, and I know there's one for you no matter what your expertise is, right? So know your numbers first, then analyze your income to see if you have enough money coming in to take care of that life of yours. And then make a decision. You're either going to decrease your lifestyle to fit the money that's coming in, or you're going to increase your income in addition to, or instead of the current business you have so that you can guess what?
