In light of the racial tensions following the murder of George Floyd, among the many other wrongful deaths at the hands of police violence, Sam Interrante launched Faces Against Racism.
He photographed over 100 people, each of which donated $100. Together the people of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, raised over $11,000, all of which was given to Lancaster-based black-owned community organizations: Advantage Lancaster, Deca City Farms, Lancaster NAACP, and three artist grants through the help of Lancaster LGBTQ+ Coalition.
