Conversation #118 | Credit Sayings I Had To Unlearn
Jul 17, 2023 Season 3 Episode 118

Welcome to Another Great Episode of The Mindfully Rich Podcast!

Today I'm discussing "Credit Habits or Sayings I Had To Unlearn." Like the money habits I talked about last week that I had to unlearn, there are some credit habits and saying that I had to unlearn too. I get it; we probably learned it in childhood or growing up, picked it up from our environment, and made these myths true, but it's okay. I'll help you debunk those habits and sayings so we can all walk truthfully and give you my reasoning.

Here are today's Credit Sayings I had to unlearn;

  • "No Credit Is Good Credit"
  • "Checking Your Credit Will Lower Your Score"
  • "If Your A Person Of Color, Your Credit Score Will Be Low"
  • "You Don't Need A Credit Card"
  • "You Have To Spend On Your Credit Cards To Build Credit"
  • "Marrying Someone With Bad Credit Give Your Bad Credit Too"
  • "Loaning Money To Family & Friends Even When You Don't Have It"
