In this week’s show our guest is Darren J. Doherty from Victoria, Australia and Regrarians. He is an expert in Regenerative Agriculture and has extensive experience across the world in project design, development, management & training.Darren is a 5th generation Bendigo region farmer, developer, author & trainer and has been involved in the design & development of nearly 2000 projects across 6 continents in close to 50 countries, such as the 1 million hectare cattle stations in Australia.Darren is the originator of the Regrarians Platform process which outlines a strategic & logical process to the development of regenerative agricultural systems. Darren and his wife Lisa are the Directors of Regrarians a family operated non-profit delivering Consulting, Events, Development, and agricultural media products.During our interview we spoke about the Polyfaces film produced by Regrerians and the workshops offered by this organization http://www.rex10.orgDarren explained the difference between permaculture and regenerative regenerative agriculture. He also addressed topics such as self-sufficiency, sustainability, human ecology, and the environment.
