In June 2024 Fotografiska Tallinn opened grand exhibition "In Bloom", where the beauty, richness, fragility, and diversity of nature are represented by 17 contemporary artists.

In this episode you will meet one of the amazing artist, Cig Harvey. Cig Harvey is a British-born artist and writer who lives in Maine, USA. She works in large-format color photography and poetry and in her practice seeks to find the magical in everyday life. She uses both images and language to explore sensory experiences and elevate the everyday. Rich in implied narrative, deeply rooted in the natural world, her work is devoted to the topic of what it is to feel.

Meet Cig Harvey´s thoughts about beauty as an overarching theme - why it is important capturing and sharing it with others. How nature is as an alarm clock, reminding us that nothing is permanent. And of course about photography - an endless medium that gives so much and how it takes a lifetime to even scratch the surface of photography.
