The Christian life is all about joyfully submitting to the roles God has called us to.
For marriage, husbands are called to love their wives sacrificially, and wives are called to submit to their husbands. Becoming unified is what we are striving for. This means we need to die to some of our individual qualities. Hold them loosely as Christ joins you together in marriage.
Your unity is worth it.
In this session, Zach Mabry walks through good communication and conflict resolution in marriage. God designed your marriage to be a picture of the Gospel. That’s a big deal! So, we can’t rely on personality tests to guide our marriages. Learn how you deal with conflict and how your spouse deals with it as well—then work together as Christ sanctifies you day-by-day.
Strive for a unity of mind and use your words to bless one another.
