I love blogging and podcasting, but truth be told, content creation can be a little lonely. Once you do the work and hit publish, that's pretty much it. For the most part, the conversation and connection kind of stops there. Now don't get me wrong, there are direct messages, comments, and reviews. But at the end of the day, the work can feel very one-sided.
Recently I've been feeling the urge to open the conversation up. To come from behind the mic, share the spotlight, and start cultivating a sense of community. Now y'all know that my big goal is to help goal getters ditch the excuses, do the work, and make ish happen! But I've also been wanting to help #Goalgetters everywhere connect with other like-minded peeps so that they can find their accountability partners, business besties, and forever friends. And after talking to some of my OG creator and business friends, I'm not alone. After being isolated for a solid year during the pandemic, I think everyone is searching for some sense of community.
So how do you do it? How do you build a community that supports your audience or customers beyond your content? In today's episode, community cultivator Siobhan Sudberry breaks down how she started her thriving membership community, The BeFree Inner Circle, and how it's changed the game for her audience, life, and business.
