Keep it Simple

Morning Mantra: "Just breathe and focus on the simplicity of the next step."

When we get overwhelmed we tend to get spun up and think of every little detail of every thing you have facing you. Stop. Breathe. And take one small step.

Think of it as a staircase. When you look at all the steps to reach the top it looks daunting, but if you take just the first step, then another, then the next, you can still reach the top without the anxiety tagging along.

I'm a list maker, but I never read the entire list at the start of my day. I only look at the first thing. Because when I make my lists I always try to put the most important thing first. If I looked at all of the things I have on the list I'd probably throw my hands up and go ride.

So, slow down. Keep it simple. Take it step by step. And make sure you breathe.
