Giving up only accomplishes one thing, failure. Not that there’s anything wrong with failing, that’s always a part of reaching a goal. It’s only a problem if you continue to fail the same thing, because you are quitting when it gets hard.
If you really want something, it’s going to cost you. Time, energy, money, confidence at times, maybe hope sometimes too. But what it costs you to achieve something is far less important than who you become while going after it.
Sacrifice really means giving up something good for something better. So go out into the world with your passion, and if life knocks you down, try to remember why you started in the first place.
