S1E7: The Whitest Conversation Ever (Season 1 Finale)
Jul 02, 2020
Nick Bognar, MFT

In the last episode of Season 1, I brought back nearly all the guests from the first season to discuss our personal and professional responses to the racism that -although it has existed for centuries- is just now becoming more visible to people like us on a daily basis.

This conversation, like the profession of psychotherapy itself, was populated disproportionately by white people. We all felt self-conscious about that, but agreed that it was better to have the conversation and risk being incomplete or exposing our own racism than not to have the conversation at all.

As a group and as individuals, we welcome anyone's feedback on the content of this podcast, as it will surely contribute to our own growth as humans and as clinicians.
