BTS 46: Mental Health Check with Auntie Cyn
We are so excited about this monthly visit we are adding to the podcast with Cyndie Quinn, Auntie Cyn for those who know her (our literal Auntie). She is a licensed Christian counselor and she is going to pop in and share all of her secrets about keeping a sound mind in the times in which we live. I have never walked away from a conversation with Auntie without being refreshed, refilled and finding something to laugh about, and today did not disappoint.
Today we deep dive into the effects the last two years have had on mental health, what to look for and how to come out of it if you find yourself in a funk. We talk about the toll isolation took on all of us. Mommas, we even do a quick checkup on our kids, what to look for and what to do if you see them in a slump.
We pray this ministers life to you and some laughter and joy to your day.

Auntie's bio:
Cyndie Quinn comes to us today as a Daughter of the King, disguised as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.š¹God has given her many lifeās experiences working with those in need. She started her career as a flight attendant at 19 and flew around the world for 33 years for Pan Am and United. As her career started to wind down in the sky, the Spirit prompted her to return to school at 41 years of age.( a scary thot at the time) BUT GODā¤ļøDuring those school years and flying part time, the Lord directed her and her husband to join a therapeutic team to work in Rwanda for several missions with the genocide victims. They were also honored to be a part of a missionary team for several seasons that ministered to orphans in both Boracay and Tacloban, Philippines. Her favorite assignment from HIM was teaching at Chaminade University and Leeward Community college in Hawaii to encourage those transitioning thru the various seasons of Life.
Now in her 70ās, Cyndie looks forward to what her next assignment will be from the Author and Finisher of her Faithā¦.but until then, she enjoys gardening, traveling with her husband of 40 years and spending quality time with her very extended family.
